Midlands Homeschool Girls Choir

It is with great excitement and anticipation that I inform you

of my newest venture….. a homeschool girls choir. This
choir will be composed of girls from 6th – 12th grade. We will
be meeting once a week for an hour and will perform 2
formal concerts a year. There will be other opportunities for
sharing the gift of song throughout the year as well (ex.
Nursing home, cancer centers, etc.). Listed below is all info
on the choir. Please feel free to send a copy of this to your

** What is it? – Girls Choir – for any girl in the 6th – 12th grade

**When is it? – Wednesdays from 12:30pm – 1:30pm

We will begin Sept. 1 and run through May 18

**Where is it? – Rehearsals will be located in room 303 at

St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (Irmo area)

**What is the cost? – There is a $25.00 registration fee for all

(this will help cover music, etc.).
Tuition costs may be paid in one of the following options:
1) yearly in September - $140; 2)by semester - $80 due
September and January; and 3)monthly payments –
September-May - $20 per month.

**Who is the director? – Amy Reynolds – I am currently the

director of children and youth music ministries at St.
Andrews Presbyterian Church. In addition to this position, I
teach music at Excelsior! Academy as well as Advanced
Drama. My past experience includes the following: Choral
Director at Stratford High School (Goose Creek, SC), Choral
and Orchestra Director at White Knoll Middle School
(Lexington, SC), Music Teacher at Rosewood Elementary
(Columbia). I hold a Bachelors Degree in Music Education
with a Vocal Performance Certificate from the University of
South Carolina.
