Accent Studio moves to Cherry Hill
For the past 12 years, Accent
Studio has been the place to go in
downtown Haddonfield if you loved
art glass or needed custom fram-
ing.
“To many, we were known as
‘the glass store,’” said Mel
Reeder, co-owner of Accent
Studio, “while others knew us
strictly for our award-winning cus-
tom framing.”
In February, we made the deci-
sion to close our glass gallery to
concentrate just on custom fram-
ing.
“This was a tough decision for
us,” said Ric Venzie, co-owner of
Accent Studio. “As our business
grew, it became more and more
difficult to continue supporting
both the glass gallery and custom
framing. After much consideration,
we decided to concentrate just on
custom framing. With that deci-

sion, came our relocation to
Cherry Hill.”

Ride at Labrador Hill Sanctuary

Labrador Hill Sanctuary, a New
Jersey non-profit corporation, is a
permanent home to a large and
lively herd of horses, donkeys,
ponies, and mules-along with four
hilarious goats. We run a natural
horsemanship program dedicated
to both the needs of our animals
and the needs of our students-
based on learning to communi-
cate compassionately and effec-
tively with equines. We work with
students from age 2 to adult and
focus on special needs students
as well. Our program allows stu-
dents a unique opportunity to
observe and work with equines in
a natural herd environment, with-
out competition and without the
restrictions imposed by traditional
lesson programs.
New this year is our Youth
Volunteer Corps-a group of stu-
dents who will be contributing to
the maintenance of the Sanctuary
in a significant way, particularly as
we are in the process of applica-
tion for 501 status. Riding is
either English or western, but
always predicated by relationship
building with the animal. We look
forward to inviting new students
into the lesson program and into
our summer camp program.
