Stewardship and Development Thoughts from Judy Held
President, Catholic Foundation of Eastern Montana
Stewardship Thought: “Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, ‘Peace be with you.’ But they
were startled and frightened…” – LUKE 24:3637
Throughout the day we have many opportunities to “see the face of Jesus” in others and to “be the face of
Jesus” to others. Do we take that opportunity to provide “peace” to those we encounter or are we afraid of
what others will think of us and do nothing? Pray for the strength to live a “Godcentered” life and not a
“selfcentered” life.
Drinking the Spirit
“Drinking the Spirit” is a great opportunity for us to gather as adult Catholics to grow in our Catholic
faith and as a community. Each month we will have a different Catholic topic with a presenter. Questions
and discussions are encouraged. We are each responsible for our own "beverages" and food. This should
be a relaxing and enjoyable way of learning about the Catholic faith. Please plan on joining us, spread the
word, and bring a friend!
Our next Drinking the Spirit will be April 24th at 7 PM at the Tin Cup. Amanda Schrauth from
Lewistown will be our guest speaker. She'll talk about her discernment to become a consecrated virgin
and her walk of faith. Should be a very interesting discussion!

2018 Care and Share Annual Catholic Appeal
The Care and Share Annual Catholic Appeal allows us to support the needs
of our wider Catholic community. As Catholics, we are called to Follow
Him as members of our parishes, but also as members of our diocese. We have a very large and diverse
family! And families take care of one another. In support of our Bishop, Michael Warfel, please make a
pledge or gift to help support all the parishes in our diocese.
Pope’s Universal Intention
For April: For Those who have Responsibility in Economic Matters. That economists may have the
courage to reject any economy of exclusion and know how to open new paths.
