A. Evangelism
This is the process/activity in which one is engaged whether privately or publicly to
win souls for the kingdom/convey biblical truth to others

B. Biblical Preaching
This is where truth from the bible is presented from a speaker to hearers through the
power of the Holy Spirit in an aim to effect life change.

2. What is the difference between a topical and a textual Sermon?


A topical sermon is around a particular theme or topic while a textual sermon is centred
around one or two verses on which the sermon seeks to expound on what the text is actually
saying.

3. What and why are two of your greatest concerns for Adventist Preaching in this
time?

4. How can SDA Church Elders play a greater role in engaging more members in
missionary work?

SDA Church Elders can a play a greater role in engaging more members in missionary work
by first recognizing the important of missionary work and leading by example. Once the
importance is felt by the elder then naturally he will convey this without much effort to the
congregation. Practical things he can do are presenting and showing to the members the call
and importance of missionary work. Training should be done and members be assigned
simple tasks that they can do in their own sphere.

6. Make and defend two suggestions that you think could improve SDA Reach
among any two special Classes.

1. Youth & Young Adults- Inviting to More Fellowship and Recreational Activities
through the church so that they can develop a closer bond with the church and not feel
threatened. Secondly Presenting more opportunities and forum where they can
communicate their questions on God ,Science, Faith and the Bible and have them
answered in an intelligent and educational way.

2.Rastafarians – Inviting them to our health events to build a closer connection as that is a
common ground. After which build upon doctrinal common grounds to build further
connection before going on to the unique truths we possess.
