I began my career as a registered nurse on February 6, 2017 in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
(NICU) at Ruby Memorial in Morgantown, WV. The NICU at Ruby Memorial has the highest
ranking a hospital can receive, which is a level IV center. Entering into an ICU setting directly
after graduation was the best decision I have ever made. This job has forced me to be quick,
think critically, and expect the unexpected.
