Dear Students and Families of Miss Treichler’s class,

My name is Miss Rissinger and I will be joining Miss Treicler’s second grade
class this spring! I will be with the class all day on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s as
well as a few Friday’s starting February 14th until May. I am so excited to get to
know all of you and assisting Miss Treicler and all students in any way that I can! I
am currently in my professional semester in the Masters of Education program with
a focus on pre-k through 4th grade at Kutztown University. I am 23 years old and
from Lititz, Pennsylvania, not far from all of you! I completed my undergraduate
degree from the University of Maryland with a major in Family Science and a minor
in Human Development. For all of you Eagles fans, the University of Maryland is
where Torrey Smith, current wide receiver for the Eagles played college football!
During my time at UMD I played field hockey for the Terps and won one ACC
championship and three Big Ten Conference Championships. After graduating in
2016 I moved back home to Lititz and decided my passion was teaching and my next
step would be Kutztown to pursue this dream! I currently live with my parents, high
school-aged brother, and chocolate lab named Samardzjia in Lititz. I have an older
brother as well who served in the United States Marine Corp and now attends
college in Indiana.

I am looking forward to learning a lot from each and every one of you this
spring. I hope to help in any way that I can and grow with the students every day. If
