TITLE: Benefits Of Drinking Coffee

Thesis statement: Drinking coffee in large amounts contributes to various negative physical effects
as well as the deterioration of one’s emotional and cognitive functions.

Point 1: Consuming coffee affects a woman’s physical health.

Supporting details:
a) Women who consume too much coffee will have a reduced chance of getting pregnant (Burke,
2014).

b) Women who drink too much coffee will most likely miscarriage in the future (Joggs, 2011 cited in
Burke, 2014).

c) Pregnant women who consume coffee will have lower bone density (American Medical Journal,
2012, cited in Burke, 2014).

d) According to Peters and Wellers (2012, cited in Burke, 2014),expecting mothers will be more
irritable when they do not watch their coffee intake (Burke, 2014).

Point 2: Excessive coffee consumption can affect sleep.

cause restlessness .

b) Too much coffee make one more tired due to lack of sleep (American Medical Journal, 2012, cited

c) Lack of sleep will eventually causes nervousness and anxiety (Kathrog, 2003, cited in Burke,

d) When one does not have proper sleep, the chances of getting panic attacks and nausea will be
