Introduction:-
India has 21 million of population with various types of disabilities, which is
equivalent to 2.1% of total country’s population. Among the different types of

disability, visually impaired disability has a highest percentage with 48.5% and
hearing impaired disability with 5.8%.

Across the country, the highest population with disabilities are recorded in Uttar
Pradesh with 3.6 million of population.

Sensory schooling will help students to overcome their disabilities, and prepare
them to live as an individual in this world.

2. PURPOSE BEHIND CHOOSING THE PROJECT-

AIM:-
To help specially abled children to blend in the society by providing them education
to enhance their skills and understanding.

Objective:-
 To integrate senses with architectural design.
 To study the barrier free architecture and use principle of universal design.
 To analyses the need of the visually and hearing impaired children for better
understanding for design.
 To study the context of the site and surrounding, physical and environmental
aspects.
 To make active usage of the spaces inside by integrating both disabilities
together.
 Implementation of modern techniques.
 To study the climatic responsive design.

Site brief :-
The allotted site area is 11.4 Acre.
Site is located in luknow, U.P
