National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 3. A special gathering will be held at Olpe United
Methodist Church from 7:15-7:50 AM for all St. Joseph CCD youth and Ebeneezer and Olpe
Methodist youth. Adults are also welcome. There will be a light breakfast.
St. Joseph BIBLE CAMP will be held JULY 9-13 this year. Please mark your calendars and
help us SPREAD THE WORD. There will be a signup sheet in the back of church within the next
several weeks.
Thanks SO MUCH to those who have remitted their LEAVEN ($18) and SOCIAL SUPPORT ($30)
payments! We are assessed by the Archdiocese for the Leaven for every registered household,
even if you do not wish to receive it. Social support offsets groceries & supplies needed for
Spring Festival, BBQ, and funeral dinners.
St. Joseph’s Cemetery Committee Announcement
In an effort to enhance and beautify the appearance of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, the cemetery
committee is building on a generous calf club donation of approximately $10,000 for this endeavor. The
total cost of removing the front/north fence, replacing it with a maintenance-free black Ameristar
Montage Majestic style fence with limestone columns is estimated at $30,860. If anyone would like to
donate to this project please make your check payable to St. Joseph’s Church and write “Cemetery” on the
memo line.
Membership is acquired by designating the desire to join and having your Name entered on the Roster of membership and
by payment of the annual dues. Each member is required to pay an annual fee of $3.00. Contact Kim Irwin at 475-3295 to
