Conclusion

1. By this project we can start 3 phase induction motor within safe limit
of speed with higher starting torque .

2 .We can also reduce starting current as we want .

3. Due to presence of variable resistance we can also vary speed of


induction motor in running condition .

4. In case of slip ring induction motor this method for fill all the
requirement of starting and speed control method for an induction
motor that’s why we doesn’t need any other method for slip ring
induction motor.

Future scope

.For this project in future we can create an arrangement which will


allow motor to start only when maximum resistance are connected to
rotor of motor .

.To achieve this we can connect magnetic locking terimanls of DOL


starter through maximum resistance of any phase resistance od rotor.
