1. Attached herewith are unnumbered memo of DepED Region VII dated April 2,
2018 entitled “ICT SKILLS ENHANCEMENT TRAINING WORKSHOP SERIES
FOR THE TOP 10 SCHOOLS OF RAFI SEED-YEAR 1” and communication of
COALITION FOR BETTER EDUCATION dated March 28, 2018.

2. This office announces the “ICT SKILLS ENHANCEMENT TRAINING

WORKSHOP SERIES FOR THE TOP 10 SCHOOLS OF RAFI SEED-YEAR 1”
starting April 4, 2018.

3. Below are the Activities lined-up for the said training:

a. April 4, 2018 Online Digital Literacy Test

b. April 9-13, 2018 Simultaneous Training for Basic, Intermediate and
Advanced Courses
c. April 16-19, 2018 Intermediate Class for Teachers that passed Basic
Course

4. Per Diem, travelling and other incidental expenses that will be incurred relative
to your attendance in the said activity shall be chargeable against local/school
MOOE/PTA/SEF Funds, subject to the usual auditing and accounting rules and
regulations.
 5. For more information, please refer to the attached communication and other
pertinent documents.

6. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is enjoined.

The capacity~building program called rcr Ski(ts Erihancement rrain{.ng Worksfrap 5ert.es, a grant
prize under RAFl`s Seal of Excellence in Education Developmerit (SEED) Program w" be
commencing soon. As previously relayed to your office, the training program is aimed towards
improving the lcT skills of in-Service teachers from the Top 10 SEED 1 schools in Cebu and
integrating Such skills in classroom instruction.

The training program is progressive and wiw consist of three (3) modules, namely Basic,
Intermediate and Advance, with two (2) sets of training schedules. While the schools heads
automatically proceed to the Advance class, the teachers wiH be required to take an online
DigitalL.iteracyTesttoascertaintheappropriatemoduleforthem.AIltrainingactivitieswillbe
held at the Univ. of San Jo5e-Recoletos (USJR)-Basak Campus. Along this line, we would like to
requestyourofficetograntatravelorderfortheschoolhead5ar}dtheselectedteacher5ofthe
following schools for the said dates:
