We are pleased to submit the enclosed proposal for the Department of Public Safety Awards
Banquet to be held in the West Commons on Saturday April 28th, from 5 to 7 PM for 55 guests.

We are proposing a barbeque themed menu as the weather is supposed to start getting nice
around the time of the event. The food will be hearty and filling and everything is prepared in-
house. We incorporated all your request such as centerpiece, dietary restrictions and color
schemes.

Our goal is to relieve you of the many details that go along with hosting so that you and your
guest are able to enjoy yourself thoroughly at this special event. Thank you for your interest in

guaranteed guest count and any additional charges incurred as approved by Client and our Catering Manager.

copy along with the above deposit amount to M&B Catering.
Catering Policies

Payment Policies
In order to guarantee services, prepayment is required on all contracts. A deposit of 50% of the
total contract value will be required a minimum 30 days in advance of the first function. The final
50% remaining balance due shall be paid in full 72 business hours prior to the start of the
function. Final payment for event charges in addition to those estimated on the contract must be
paid at the conclusion of the event. If the event is of a nature that additional charges may be
incurred, a completed credit card authorization form must be provided by the Customer as a
guarantee of payment for services rendered.

Guarantees
Guaranteed guest count is required 5 business days prior to your event. M&B Catering will
prepare 5% over any guaranteed count given five business days prior on all sit down meal
events.

Cancellation
A charge will be assessed for cancellation of contracted services within 15 days of an event.
The charge will be calculated to cover material and labor costs (including administrative)
incurred by M & B Catering as a result of the anticipated event as well as the foregone profit
margin associated with the cancelled event should the date not be rebooked by another
customer. Any event canceled within seventy-two business hours prior to the event requires
payment in full for the estimated revenue based on the menu and event arrangements.

Force Majeure

If natural causes prevent an event from taking place, the client will not be not be charged as the
circumstances were unforeseen. Also, M&B Catering will not be liable for performing the
contract.
