Lesson Plan for Whole Class Teaching

-Students will be able to know the five parts of plant.

-Download educational songs about parts of plant.
- Pots -picture’s -stick the pictures for parts of plant on board.
-soil -A3 paper -make sure all the material I need it available.

-seeds -colors

-leaves - board pen

- shovel - A4 paper Key vocabulary

- plastic watering Seed, root, stem, leaves, flower, soil, water, air, sun.

- stickers

Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

First of all, I will say ‘’ Good morning KG2, today we will be learning together the pats of plants and do some
interesting things. So, I already put some pictures of tutorial in the board (seed, root, stem, leaves and flower)
then ask them a few questions to help learners get some ideas about parts of plant. In addition, I will show

students song about parts of plant by used display and keep them dance together. (you tube video). After
that, explain the five parts of plant and keep learners repeating the parts together (the seed, root, stem,
leaves and flower) by using pictures of the five parts and English sound such as, R-oot, F-lower. Lastly, ask
question about parts of plant. For example, what is this part. (child will say stem).
Guided Experience and/or Independent Experience

(group working with the teacher and/or students working independently)

Will show student’s the plant need and parts of plant by using table on the board then put a few pictures
about plant need such as, water, air, soil and sun and pictures about parts of plant. For example, seed, root,

stem, leaves and flower. After that I will choose learners to sort the pictures in right place.

-The second activity I will ask children who can draw to me such as, seed or flower. Also, I will write the words
of parts of plant as dots and choose other learners to follow the dots to get the word of one of the parts such
as, flower.

Closing
Time 5 min

-I will read a short story about ‘we plant a seed’ and show the students example about the parts of plant. For
example, the pots, soil, seed of date, different shape and size of leaves to help them understand the parts
very well.

-finally, keep learners repeat the part of plant together and I will ask them question to know I they
understand the five parts of plant and plant need. As well as, I will be rewarding them by star and give them
tiny gift such as eraser as shape of monkey.

Assessment

-answer question during lesson at the end.

-keep learners show me the five parts of plant on the board.

- repeating together the five parts (stem-roots-leaves-flower and seed).

- keep students drawing the parts of flower.
