Comments:
Unfortunately, I was unable to observe Marwa’s teaching today – as was planned – because
there were NO children in attendance at Al Shamkha KG (due to the approaching holiday
break …).

Instead, I spoke to Marwa’s MST – at length – about her progress during the Teaching
Practice; and we also discussed Marwa’s Final Assessment.

Strengths:
- Marwa was present, always punctual and active inside her classroom
- Marwa planned effective, active and age-appropriate lessons; and she always asked
her MST for support and guidance in the process. Great!
- Marwa was always well organized, well prepared for her lessons and all her
interventions
- Marwa took initiative consistently
- She was always very respectful of others and very professional
-

Areas for improvement:

- Marwa needs to work on improving her self -confidence and her ability to be firm
with the students. She must also learn to modulate her voice and to use it as a tool
- Marwa must continue to develop her classroom management strategies: these will
improve with time and practice.

Overall, Marwa has had a very successful Teaching Practicum this semester! Her MST was
thrilled to have her as a student teacher. Marwa managed to learn a lot and also to make
important contributions within her classroom.
