Sub: Planning of roads around National parks and Sanctuaries.

Sir,

Pursuant to National Wild Life Action Plan(2002-2016), it has been decided that roads
should be planned in such a manner that all national parks and sanctuaries are bypassed and
integrity of protected area is maintained. Wildlife corridors also need to be avoided or mitigative
measures (such as restricting night traffic) need to be employed.

2. These instructions may please be communicated to all concerned in your organization.
