3. Categories
Category A : Primary 1 and 2 (SD Grade 1 and 2)
Category B : Primary 3 and 4 (SD Grade 3 and 4)
Category C : Primary 5 and 6 (SD Grade 5 and 6)
Category D : Secondary 1 and 2 (SMP Grade 7 and 8)
Category E : Secondary 3 and 4 (SMP Grade 9 and SMA Grade 10)
4. Registration Fee
Individual (Walk-in registrant): Rp 125.000,-
School Representative : Rp 100.000,-

6. Mechanics of the Competition
A. Preliminary Round
a. Written test
b. There are 30 multiple choice questions to be answered for 90 minutes.
c. Scoring System:
- Correct Answer = 2 points
- Wrong Answer = -0.5
- No Answer = 0
d. If there are more than 70 participants in each category, top 15% will go to
semifinal round but if the number of participants is lower than 70, the top 10
will go to semifinal. If the number of participants is 10 or lower, all of them
will automatically go to semifinal.
B. Semifinal Round
a. Oral test
b. The questions will be flashed on a screen that will be read by one of the
committees of the competition.
c. Each question will be answered in 2 minutes. Participants will write their
answer on the paper provided.
d. Participants will show their answers to the committee by raising their answer
sheets after 2 minutes.
e. Scoring System:
- Correct Answer = 2 points

- Wrong Answer = -0.5
- No Answer = 0
e. The top 5 in this round will proceed to the Final Round. If there is a tie on the
5th spot, a tie breaker question will be given to them.
f. Final round qualifiers will get specific starting points based from their rank in
this round as shown below:
1st Rank : 2.5 points
2nd Rank : 2 points
3rd Rank : 1.5 points
4th Rank : 1 point
5th Rank : 0.5 point
C. Final Round
1. Semi-Games written test
2. 5 finalists from west region and 5 finalists from east region will be divided to
5 groups. Each group consists of 1 finalist from east region and 1 finalist from
west region.
3. One of the members in every group will receive two questions of different
types. He/she will be given 10 seconds to skim read the questions.
4. After 10 seconds, he/she has to decide which question he/she wants to keep
and which one to give to the other member of his/her group.
5. Every participant has to solve the question problem he/she gets in 2 minutes
maximum time and write the final answer on the paper provided.
6. Efficiency will be part of checking and scoring in this round. In case of
questions that will be answered in less than 2 minutes, the fastest 5
participants who will put their answers in the basket will be given the chance
to get points. The committee will stop the time. The participants who weren’t
able to t put their answer in the basket will get 0 point.
7. Only the answer sheets in the basket will be checked by the committee in 2
minutes time.
f. Scoring System:
- Correct Answer = 2 points
- Wrong Answer = -0.5
- No Answer = 0
8. For the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th questions, participants are not allowed to see both
type of questions before he/she gives the other type to the other member in
his/her group.
9. The top 3 among the 10 qualifiers will be declared winners for
this final round. If there is a tie on the 3rd spot, a tie breaker question will be
given to them.
