Netflix is an amazing digital success story. Starting out more than 17 years ago as a
predominantly DVD subscription service, Netflix was able to pivot along the way and
take advantage of rapidly evolving mobile technology and ever-improving internet
speeds to become one of the largest video distribution networks on the planet.
So how far have they come? Here is a digital collection of every Netflix stat I have
curated over the years. With over 100 million users logging in monthly, there is plenty of
data to collect and list here. I try to go through each and every stat regularly and update
as much as possible, but we all know that some stats are easier to track down than
others and some are reported once by a company and then not updated for years.
As always, every stat is linked to its source and the date of the source is listed. Please
see the disclaimer at the bottom of each page for more important info about these
numbers.
Please note that some of these numbers are easier to find than others. Many of these Netflix statistics
come from the company's own disclosures, but some are based on news reports and not official company
tallies. Basically, this is the best I can find and I don’t guarantee anything to be 100% accurate.
