Review the pervious properties such as big
vs small, transparent vs opaque, rough vs
smooth. Also, bendy, pointy, crinkly, sticky.

The teacher will give each students a transparent plastic cup and different
materials (fabric, cotton, laminating sheets, paper) and rubber band.

The students will test each material by adding drops of water to test the
materials if it the material waterproof or not.

The students will record their answers in the worksheet that given by the
teacher.

First, the students will write the name of the material on the paper.

Second, the students will predicate before they test the material if it is
waterproof or not.

Third, the students will put the material on the top on the transparent
plastic cup and secure it with rubber band if need.

Fourth, the students will take some water using the droppers. And drop it
on the top of the material.
Note: it the water stay on the top it means waterproof.
If the water go through the material it is not waterproof.

Finally, the students will write if this material is waterproof not.

The students will sit in the carpet and discuses what
they observe and what they did.
