Students demonstrating a need in two or more measures, K-2nd reference WCPSS Using NKT to Make Data-Based
including mCLASS, (excluding composite) and report cards with Decisions. 1-5: students demonstrating level 2 overall in
an overall level 2 or below. This data may also include previous math for two consecutive quarters (may include previous

Tier I and II Framework


Teacher concern in any or all academic areas (literacy, math, and/or behavior).

Teacher completes Digging Deeper assessment on student in all academic areas of concern.

Discuss Digging Deeper assessment and concerns at PLT.


Plan Tier I differentiation.

If Tier I differentiation works, continue After at least 3 weeks of Tier I differentiation (6 weeks for behavior),
strategies. if it is not working discuss at next PLT. If student demonstrations a
need in two or more measures and Tier I Intervention did not work,
with team select Tier II intervention and progress monitoring tool for
the plan.

After 6 weeks, review Tier II plan.
