ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

"The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads
you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called "truth"“: Dan
Rather

By the grace of Almighty, at the end of this Project, we wish to recall the role played
by our superiors and teachers in the successful completion of this endeavor. It is indeed the
support of number of people that has lend our effort a boost that is needed to make it past an
idea, initial form , to the consummate presentation that it is today.

Our guide Ms. Nishitha K R, Dept. of Electrical & Electronics, and with help of Mrs.
Fathima Raihan, Dept. of Electrical & Electronics has been the central figure in this entire
process as seen from where we stand. We deeply acknowledge their involvement and
guidance throughout the duration of this assignment.

We are immensely thankful to our HOD Prof. John Valder, Dept. of Electrical &
Electronics, our guiding light for the entire duration of degree so far, and wish to
acknowledge his constant encouragement and support specifically during this three month of
our work on this topic. It is an honor for us to have been under the inspiring leadership of Dr.
Abdul Sharief principal PACE, and enormous impetus for/all our activities.

We would like to heart fully thank the laboratory assistance and the staff members
who have made our work an efficient exercise with their suggestions and provisions of
excellent equipment.

We would like to acknowledge the tremendous support that we have received from
our parents and close friends at work and at the end of a long day.
ABSTRACT

The main objective of this project is to just pick an object and the place the object in a desired
position. this project focuses on picking the object with automated robotic arm like structure
with a clamp. And the arm is then fitted on a movable chassis so that it can be moved over
various locations. The object is thus sensed using a RFID reader and hence based on the
signal thus received the object is picked up and hence replaced. This is the main objective of
our projective and hence it is mainly designed for the library purpose for arranging the books
in order. Hence our project is mainly designed in order to reduce the work force in the
industrial area and public services. The programs are thus encoded in the ARM controller and
the platform we are working on is the Embedded C and thus based on this basic operations of
the robotic arm are thus performed.
