EPN-­M  – Fault  Management
• The  Optical  Network  is  continuously  monitored  for  any  fault/event.  And  the  same  is  reported  under  Alarms  
and  Events  page.  Once  the  fault  is  corrected  the  alarm  is  cleared  and  is    reported  under  Cleared  alarm  
page.
• For  NCS2K  these  events  are  captured  via  TL1  and  reported  in  EPNM.
• Fault  Management  in  EPNM  is  done  under  Monitor-­>Monitoring  Tools-­>Alarms  and  Events.
