LESSER SLOW LORIS
The lesser slow loris is a mammal which can clamp on to branches for periods of
time. It is a solitary animal, which belong to the family of lorisidea bush baby and potto.
It is found in southern Asia, Vietnam, Borneo and Sumatra.
It is a small mammal which is 175 – 250 mm long and can weigh as much as 12
ounces or 340 grams. Being nocturnal, the Loris has large round eyes. It has no tail, but
it has broad grasping feet. On it’s second toe, it has a sharp claw. It also has an enlarged
thumb and a reduced index finger.
