2. Receiving the Spirit (New TIME OF THE HARVEST/SEPARATION
Nature) – expressing new Life)
3. Ability to OBEY the VOICE

“…Hear the Voice of YHVH…give ear to the Commandments…”

Exo 15:26 If you diligently heed the voice of YHVH your Elohim and do what
is right in His sight, give ear to His Commandments and keep all His statutes,
I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians.
For I am YHVH who heals you.”

Psa 29:7 The voice of YHVH divides the flames of fire.

Acts 2:3 They saw tongues like flames of a fire that separated and came to
rest on each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit…

“The Voice of YHVH” divides flames of fire which is connected to the Day
of Pentecost (Shavuot), receiving the outpouring of YHVH’s Spirit.
Commandments = Spirit : NOT the Spirit replacing the Commandments
 Shavuot’s Main Themes
1. The first celebration of Shavuot
was the event receiving the
Commandments
2. The first Shavuot was prophetic for
the future Receiving the
outpouring of YHVH’s Spirit thus
connecting the Commandments
with YHVH’s Spirit (one is physical
and the other is spiritual).
3. Shavuot has a final prophetic
fulfilment as the Feast of the
Wheat Harvest – Final Separation
& Judgement
 1- Receiving the Commandments
“…Write the Commandments on their hearts…”

Jer 31:33 "But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel
after those days," declares YHVH, "I will put My law (Torah) within them and
on their heart I will write it; and I will be their Elohim, and they shall be My
people. 34"They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his
brother, saying, 'Know YHVH,' for they will all know Me, from the least of
them to the greatest of them," declares YHVH, "for I will forgive their iniquity,
and their sin I will remember no more."…

➢ This is done through the “pouring out of the Spirit of YHVH” upon all people.
➢ They will have the ability to obey the Commandments, this time from the “inside
out,” not mechanically from the “outside in.”
➢ YHVH’s Spirit do not REPLACE the Commandments or take them away – He
“engrave” the in your innermost being – changing your NATURE.
 1- Hearing the VOICE

Gen 3:8 And they heard the VOICE of YHVH Elohim walking in the garden in
the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of
YHVH Elohim among the trees of the Garden.
Adam and Chavah (Eve) heard the Voice of YHVH in the Garden…Israel heard the
Voice of YHVH from the Mountain.
“The Mountain” leads back to “the Garden”
“The Voice” connects the Mountain to the Garden = > RESTORATION
“The Voice” is connected to Hearing and Obeying the Commandments
 2 – Receiving His Spirit
Joel 2:28-32 Then it will come about at a later time that I
will pour out My Spirit on every person. Your sons and your
daughters will prophesy. Your elderly people will dream
dreams, and your young people will see visions. 29 Also at
that time I will pour out My Spirit upon men and women
servants. 30 I will display warnings in the
heavens, and on the earth blood, fire, and columns
of smoke. 31 The sun will be given over to
darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming
of the great and terrifying Day of YHVH. 32 And
everyone who calls upon the Name of YHVH will be
delivered. For as YHVH has said, ‘In Mount Zion and in
Jerusalem there will be those who escape, the survivors
whom YHVH is calling.’”

8 Themes in relation to “shedding” and “pouring” (mostly in the context of Blood):

1st – Not to shed man’s blood, 2nd - Joseph’s blood, 3rd - Water into blood (Egypt)
4th - Blood of sacrifice (consecration of Priesthood - Tabernacle) Exo 29:1-12.
5th – Blood of Sin Offering - Lev 4:7
6th - Pour out of Spirit of YHVH - Eze 39:29, Joel 2:28-32
7th - Pour out and shedding of man’s blood, evil of man upon themselves
8th - Pour out YHVH’s fury and wrath - Eze 36:18 (last time used)
 2 –”Shaphak” - Pouring Out
Progression of Events found within the use of the word “shaphak” in Scripture:
• Man’s blood, Joseph’s blood, water into blood (Egypt), blood of sin offering All
these connects to the theme of Passover and the Lam’s blood shed instead of
man shedding his own blood to pay for sin. Prophetic picture of Joseph
representing Messiah Y’shua as the Lamb of YHVH.
• Blood of sacrifice (consecration of Priesthood - Tabernacle) [Exo 29:1-12] & Blood
of Sin Offering – [Lev 4:7] YHVH’ set up a “System” and “Body” here on earth to
provide a solution to the problem. Deal with the “Consequences of sin”
• Pouring out of YHVH’s Spirit [Eze 39:29, Joel 2:28-32] – Part of the “Solution” to
the problem to rectify man’s fallen nature –Part of Restoration process.
• The shedding of man’s blood - Evil still present upon the Earth even after the
“Solution” is provided – Consequence of man’s fallen nature and sin.
• Last – Pour out YHVH’s fury - Eze 36:18 – Final Judgement (separation) between
good and evil, truth and lie, right and wrong, light and darkness, righteousness
and sin, followers of YHVH an the followers of the fallen one.
 2 –”Shaphak” - Pouring Out
POUR – “shaphak” ;ps * TO POUR OUT * TO SPILL * TO SHED provides the
solution to the Two main Problems; Consequence of sin (curse - death) and Man’s
fallen nature.
1. Passover / UB / FF dealt with the first problem – Consequence of sin (death)
• To access this “benefit” man have to access it through entering a Covenant.
This Covenant is also found within the “First Solution” PO / UB / FF. This
Covenant gives you access to the “Second Solution”.
2. Shavuot is the next “Solution” that is accessed through entering the Covenant
provided by the “First Solution.”
• Shavuot provides Two Things required to deal with Man’s fallen nature; The
Commandments (Water of the Word “poured out”) & YHVH’s Spirit “poured
out” – Both Required to enter the Kingdom [Rev 14]

Rev 14: 12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the
Commandments of Elohim and the faith of Y’shua.
➢ This is in context of the final Judgement of the Son of Man harvesting the Earth
with His sharp sickle, reaping the Righteous (Wheat Harvest – Shavuot – Seed
gathered in the barn, chaff separated)
Rev 14: 12 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the
Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat
on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap,
for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle
on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
➢ Thereafter the Earth reaped the Wrath of YHVH – Reaping the Unrighteous.
Rev 14: 18-19 And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire,
and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in your
sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully
ripe.” 19 So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the
earth, and threw it into the Great Winepress of the wrath of Elohim. 20 And the
Winepress was trampled outside the city
 2 - Pour out My Spirit
“…I will pour out my Spirit on every person…

SPIRIT – “ruach” xvr * SPIRIT * BREATH * WIND * WATER

1st used in Scripture in:

Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon
the face of the deep. And the Spirit H7307 of Elohim moved upon the face of the
waters.

➢ YHVH’s Spirit “poured” out like water (liquid), not as Breath as we generally find.
➢ Y’shua referred to His Spirit as a “well that will spring up”, also referred to as
water that can be “poured out.” John 4:4-26, 7:37-39
 2 - Pour out My Spirit
“…I will pour out my Spirit on every person…

SPIRIT – “ruach” xvr * SPIRIT * BREATH * WIND * WATER

John 4:4 …but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never
thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water
springing up to eternal life."

John 7:37-39 …He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his
innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’”[Eze 47:1-12] Now on the last
day, the great day of the Feast [8th Day of Sukkot @ Water pouring
Ceremony], Y’shua stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone is thirsty, let him
come to Me and drink. But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who
believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because
Y’shua was not yet glorified.
 2 - Pour out My Spirit
“…Rivers of living water…flowing from the Temple (House) of YHVH

Eze 47:3-8 When the man went out toward the east with a line in his hand, he
measured a thousand cubits, and he led me through the water, water reaching the
ankles. 4 …the water reaching the knees. Again he measured a thousand and led me
through the water, water reaching the loins. 5 …and it was a river that I could not
ford, for the water had risen, enough water to swim in, a river that could not be
forded. 6 He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen this?” Then he brought me back
to the bank of the river. 7 Now when I had returned, behold, on the bank of the river
there were very many trees on the one side and on the other. 8 Then he said to me,
“These waters go out toward the eastern region and go down into the Arabah; then
they go toward the sea, being made to flow into the sea, and the waters of the sea
become fresh.
• River from Temple = Spirit of YHVH * Sea = Nations – people in the world following
worldly ways
• Sea water becoming Fresh – Transformed to sustain life

“…Rivers of living water…flowing from the Temple (House) of YHVH

Eze 47:9-12 It will come about that every living creature which swarms in every
place where the river goes, will live. And there will be very many fish, for these
waters go there and the others become fresh; so everything will live where the river
goes. 10 And it will come about that fishermen will stand beside it; from Engedi to
Eneglaim there will be a place for the spreading of nets. Their fish will be according
to their kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea, very many. 11 But its swamps and
marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt. 12 By the river on its bank,
on one side and on the other, will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will
not wither and their fruit will not fail. They will bear every month because their
water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for
healing.”
* Sea = Nations * Fisherman = Disciples of Master Y’shua (reaching out) * Fish - many
kinds = People from all Nations (saved) * Trees = Body of Messiah (looking after those
within) * Fruit (of Spirit) = spiritual sustenance * Leaves
 Receiving the Spirit
SPIRIT – “ruach” xvr has the gematria of 214
‫“ – חור‬choor“ - white cloth, white
‫“ – טהר‬tahare“ - to be clean, be pure, innocent, holy
‫“ – הדרה‬had-aw-rah“ - adornment, glory
‫“ – אזור‬ay-zore“ - waist-cloth, the innermost piece of clothing, girdle
➢ The Spirit of YHVH helps you to become “white” (righteous) and holy.
➢ His Spirit restores the Glory man lost which “covered man’s
nakedness”
 Living Sacrifices
“Ruach” xvr comes from the Root Word “ruwach,” xyr which means:

* TO BREATHE * TO BLOW * TO SMELL * TOUCH * QUICK UNDERSTANDING

1st used in Scripture in:
Gen 8:21 And YHVH smelled H7306 a sweet savour; and YHVH said in his heart, I
will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of
man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing
living, as I have done.

➢ After the Flood, Noah offered Sacrifices and the “sweet smell” caused YHVH to
extend mercy and grace to mankind – This is associated with the “sweet smell” of
His Spirit (Breath) inside His people and therefore no longer require Sacrifices.
➢ Your life is a “sweet odour” (etrog fruit) when your nature has been changed –
then you have become a living sacrifice
 Living Sacrifices
“Ruwach” xyr has the gematria of 218
‫“ – בראיה‬Beraiah” - YHVH has created
‫“ – בריאה‬ber-ee-aw“- creation, created thing, new thing, marvel

‫“ – זורה‬zooreh“ - a thing that is crushed

‫“ – חרי‬choree“ - heat (of anger), burning (of anger)

➢ This word is in relation to Sacrifices, the “sweet smell” avoiding death, taking care
of the curse that came upon YHVH’s Creation.
➢ Those who are “living sacrifices” with new natures will be “re-created” or
“restored.
➢ Those who are not “living sacrifices” will stay under the curse and wrath of YHVH.
 Living Sacrifices
➢ SPIRIT – “ruwach” xyr has a “yod” y (invisible Hand of YHVH –
Spirit) instead of a “vav” v (man)
➢ It is YHVH’s Spirit doing the work inside of us that allow us to
become living Sacrifices and a sweet savor unto Him.
➢ On the LEFT is a “chet” x which means Life – This is your NEW
NATURE radiating from your actions and your words as a result
if the inward work YHVH’s Spirit did in you.
➢ Shavuot is about the PREPARATION TIME PERIOD where we
receive YHVH’s Word (Commandments) and His Spirit (New
Nature) [GRACE] to help us to become LIVING SACRIFICES unto
Him, a sweet smell and aroma.
➢ This is the evidence that you are changed and restored and
allowed back into the “Garden of Eden state,” the Promised
Land.
 The Themes of Shavuot
Shavuot has Four Themes:
1. Hearing the Voice [50 days] (Grace) - MAN IN FALLEN STATE – RECEIVE THE MEANS
TO OVERCOME
2. Receiving the Tablets (The Test) [+- 100 days] [Golden Calf / Broken Tablets] - FAILED
