Two Paragraphs

The research topic I researched was the Nazi persecution of the Catholic Church. The

Nazis started to persecute people of the Catholic Church in this time period. The Nazis in the

jurisdiction ruled over any social activity in Germany under Hitler’s power. When the Nazis took

over, they arrested thousands of Catholics for their political activism. Later in the Nazis power

they moved on to dissolve Catholic youth leagues.

By 1939 in Germany all the Catholic Churches were phased out because of the Nazis

power and Hitler’s power. The Nazis plan before taking over was to de-Christianize all of

Germany after they won the war. The Nazis were told by Hitler to arrest the Germany Centre

Party all of them that were Catholic. When Hitler arrested the Catholics, they were free to pray

and have rituals as much as they wanted, but they could not interact with German society. This

shows that Hitler wanted to persecute and de-Christianize the whole Germany population.
