Introduction

The sprawling city is known as “Fruit Basket of the Philippines”. It is rich when it comes
to culinary, cultural, even in economic. Davao is undeniably one of the safest cities in the world,
which was led by the former Mayor Rodrigo “Digong” Duterte and now the president of the
Philippines. The abundance of durian in Davao made a big name to call the city as “Durian
Capital of the Philippines”. Being one of the Davao’s icons, durian is the king of fruits.
Meanwhile, the production of mangoes and chocolates has been making a stir in the world
because of the quality. Davao is the leading exporter of fruits in the island such as mangoes,
mangosteens, bananas, pomelos, pineapples and cacao. It is indeed The Fruit Basket of the
Philippines. The Davao Street is a food stall industry that sells ready to eat foods and drinks.
The Davao Street is a corporation wherein twenty people share ownership. The people involved
agreed to contribute individually and equally to begin the chosen type of business. Without the
team leader who has a variety of traits and characteristics that will encourage the team members,
the project would not be successful. Team leaders naturally possess certain qualities such as
integrity and patience. Leadership skills can also be learning through training or experience. The
qualities of an effective team leader inspire the trust and respect of the team and stimulate
production within the workplace. An effective team leader should know how to give importance
to her team members without any bias. The whole team should share the same goal and
objectives and help each other to grow. The commitment of the team leader should include
confidence in her ability as well as the ability of her team members, through it every possible
problem can come up with a solution.

III. Financial Management

Risks are situations involving exposure to danger which can occur anytime. Possible risks
can be a natural disaster such as storms, heavy rain and typhoon. Suppliers can also be part of the
risks when an issue within their products or raw materials results into failure. Increasing of
competition will always be a problem for most of the business because the market changes in
consumer preferences. What an entrepreneur keeps is the customer’s expectations; it is an
important factor to consider because they are the foundation of more customers in the future. In
times like those, the company must have other plans in order for it to still run its business.

our subject and we would like to request funding for our business in the upcoming (NAME OF

very much appreciate if you would consider providing us with a young business entrepreneurial

We hope that you will see the potential in our planned business and support us in this endeavor.

Sincerely,
