You are on page 1of 21

good afternoon it's May 11th 2018 my name is Mathew Ogden and you're joining us for our weekly

strategic broadcast here from LaRouche PAC comm so as you

can see on the screen here the title of our show is Korea breakthroughs are proof of principle the New Silk Road is the path to peace now as many of our viewers
might remember in her New Year's address on January 1st of this year he'll get SEP LaRouche declared that 2018 must be the year that geopolitics is overcome and
that a new paradigm of win-win relations and win-win cooperation is fully embraced in a discussion this afternoon he'll get Seppala ruch called attention to those
remarks that she delivered on New Year's Day and stated that we're seeing real breakthroughs on this front globally we're seeing the forging of a new relationship
between China and India with the meetings that have occurred between President Modi and President Xi Jingping as we've reported previously we're seeing a
realignment underway between China and Japan which has been one of the leading geopolitical rivalries in the Asia Pacific region and of course we're seeing the
historic breakthroughs now occurring in Korea which clearly china has also played a major role in advancing and in securing now all of these developments should
show us that the possibility for achieving the challenge that he'll get Sepp LaRouche posed in that New Year's message is very real and is very real within this year
2018 no matter how incredulous you may have been when she first delivered those remarks look at how far we've come if we continue to keep our eye on the big
picture strategically and understand what is at stake we'll be able to keep a laser focus on the strategy which she laid out in those remarks remember we have two
paradigms that are now acting on this planet and cannot continue to coexist under the old paradigm of geopolitics in which major powers compete with one another
for dominance and hegemony war is the inevitable consequence as we've experienced time and time again not only in the 20th century but really going all the way
back to ancient Greece that is the so called lucidity trap but under the new paradigm we recognize that in the age of thermonuclear weapons war is no longer a viable
option if we wish mankind to survive and rather we must embrace the idea of a community of common destiny as President Xi Jinping of China has characterized it in
which sovereign nations with mutual respect cooperate with each other on the frame under the framework of win-win relations and common benefit in confronting and
overcoming the common challenges of mankind that latter new paradigm is now proving itself with the great potential that we see for a breakthrough on the Korean
Peninsula serving as an excellent case in point and as you'll see the Silk Road the one belt one Road initiative is proving to be the key which is unlocking all of these
breakthroughs that we're now watching develop in front of our very eyes now I'm sure that many Americans have been following this news obviously including the
dramatic developments over just the past several days with secretary Pompeii OHS secret trip to meet with Kim jong-un that's what's depicted in this picture that we
have on the screen here he negotiated the release of the final American hostages that were being held between by North Korea and you probably saw the images
the previous week as we have here on the screen of the historic summit between President Kim jong-un and President mu J in of South Korea which took place in
the demilitarized zone however what many Americans might not be knowledgeable of is the content of these meetings you saw the photographs but what was
discussed and how did this possibility for peace on the Korean Peninsula be advanced as far as it has been now the key moment in that meeting between president
moon and president Kim jong-un took place when president moon of South Korea handed kim jeong-hoon a thumb drive and this thumb drive contained detailed
plans for new rail routes new power development projects and other infrastructure projects for North Korea what president moon called a new economic map for the
Korean Peninsula so here's how that plan was described in an article that was published on the website citilab calm under the title a genius plan to modernize North
Korea's trains as you can see here the subtitle was in Korean peace talks all eyes are on new denuclearization but a plan to relink the nation's railways could be far
more transformative and the article discusses in detail what's contained in this new economic map for the Korean Peninsula it says at the center of moon's new
economic map for the Korean Peninsula is a railway modernization plan that's much more than an infrastructure project it's a key piece in the geopolitical puzzle to
connect North Korea to the world and entice the regime to keep its promises when it comes to the Korean Peninsula North Korea's denuclearization always gets top
villain but the agreement to relink the railways between the two countries has the potential to be even more transformative than the promise of a nuclear-free Korean
Peninsula as a first step the rail project outlined in the Panmunjeom declaration would connect the railway from Seoul to Pyongyang passing through Kaesong in the
north ultimately it would end in Shin news you North Korea linking up the border at the border with don dong China but the alternate plan drawn up by the South
Korean government is much more ambitious it envisions a additional high-speed line from Seoul to Shin Yeo Joo in via Pyongyang along with the modernisation of
six other railways traversing North Korea currently the rails there are so decrepit that trains can only average 50 kilometers an hour and the rails would break under
heavy loads retrofitting would allow speeds of a hundred kilometers an hour and enable heavier loads most significantly the plan would connect North Korea to China
and Russia allowing North Korea to ultimately become a crucial connector between East Asia and Europe the Shinju Dondon Crossing is the hub of North Korea's
commerce with China adding a high-speed rail line train line would go a long way towards facilitating even more trade in which South Korea could also participate the
renovated mon PO line connecting to Jean China would open another logistical connection between North Korea and China in addition to don dong shinnojo the
improved Pyong grah line would connect to Russia's trans-siberian railroad allowing Overland freight transport from South Korea all the way to Europe while giving
Russia a piece of the action for North Korea's economic development taken together these new connections raise the stakes that China and Russia have in North
Korea and that would incentivize them to ensure that North Korea remains stable and keeps the trains running North Korea would share in these benefits as its cities
on these trade routes likely develop along the way the Pyong gras line for example would connect South Korea's two largest cities Seoul and Busan to North Korea's
third largest city seong-jin and its industrial zone with the highest GDP per capita Raj in a version of the inter-korean railway plan has existed for a while the two
Koreas even had a test run for the rail link in May 2007 having two trains cross the demilitarized zone on two spots there are reasons to be cautiously optimistic this
time around for starters both South and North Korea specifically want this project it's also consistent with what their neighboring countries want as well China is raring
to begin the one belt one road initiative a massive infrastructure project which would enhance the physical connection between Europe and Asia the inter-korean
railway could serve as the eastern extension creating the overland connection between South Korea and the prosperous Chinese cities across the Yellow Sea from
the Korean Peninsula including Beijing and Shanghai a stable inter-korean railway may also motivate Japan to finally begin working on the Korea Japan undersea
tunnel a project that had been under discussion since the 1980s if built it would be the longest undersea tunnel in the world more than four times the length of the
Channel Tunnel between France and the United Kingdom according to the South Korean government the inter-korean railway plan caught the attention of both the
Asia infrastructure investment bank and the Asia Development Bank respectively led by China and Japan with many other member nations indicating international
support for the inter-korean railway plan as wild as it sounds we may see within our lifetime a transient train ride from Tokyo to London with a pit stop in Pyongyang
for its delicious cold noodles that's by s Nathan Park who's an attorney at Georgetown University here in the Washington DC area but that vision including the
delicious cold North Korean noodles I've never had them but I'd be interested that vision of a rail connection all the way from the tip of South Korea all the way to
Western Europe that is the vision of the Eurasian landbridge or the New Silk Road as it's been characterized going all the way back to the time that it was first
proposed by the LaRouche movement and helga SEP la Ruche in the early 1980s as a way of connecting the entire Eurasian continent and then the tunnel between
Japan and South Korea would be an added element of that connectivity so that was what was contained in the thumb drive that Kim jong-un received from moon jae-
in that is what a new economic plant map for the Korean Peninsula entails so that article was published last Friday a week ago but what I'd like you to do is to
compare that development program with all the rail routes and otherwise what as was described in that article compare that what was put appropriately into the
context of connecting North and South Korea to China's belt and Road initiative take what was just described there and compare it to the contents of this video which
you're about to see some excerpts from this video which was produced by LaRouche PAC titled peace through development the path to a unified Korea this video
was published on May 11th 2016 exactly two years ago today so listen to the excerpts of this video that you're about to see which again was published two years ago
today March 11th sorry May 11th 2016 and compare it to what is being now proposed in this new economic map for the Korean Peninsula as it's being called by the
president of South Korea which is the key to unlocking the peace the potential for peace on the Korean Peninsula so here's that video the need for a policy of peace
through development and win-win cooperation is evident across the globe but it is particularly stark in certain parts of the world the Koreas are a case in point the
situation in this area represents both tremendous potential and imminent danger the 71 year division of the Koreas has resulted in a present-day serious war danger
with an isolated North Korea suffering from retarded economic growth engaging in a series of suspected nuclear weapons and missiles tests believing nuclear
weapons were the only means of avoiding the fate of Iraq and Libya who submitted to Western demands to end their nuclear weapons programs and were promptly
bombed their leaders killed and the nations left in ruins is there a potential for cooperation there is there a pathway forward to a unification of Korea which could
rather serve as an example for the rest of the world showing that we can achieve peace through development as recently as a couple of years ago significant steps
were being made in a positive direction and they remain a basis for hope around this time there was intense deliberation around the first-ever cooperative Russia
North Korea South Korea industrial project the Rason special economic zone centered around the North Korean port of rush in the development of this port situated
near the mouth of the Tumen River itself the boundary of Russia China and North Korea involved the participation of the major South Korean steel producer POSCO
the state rail company ko rail and the shipping company high-end a marine bringing Russian coal through an upgraded North Korean port to the South Korean steel
factory two main transport corridors would feed into the port region from China Russia and Mongolia connect to the trans-siberian railroad at Cheeta with the most
crucial connections extending through Korea what we need to have is a mass movement for development it is high past time for a new paradigm to move forward
with a peace through development outlook and to shun the policies of those who would prefer a war because China has embarked in the policy of the new sukkot
maritime Silk Roads the one bed one Road policy huge infrastructure project to connect all the countries of Eurasia through infrastructure development and high
technology investments China's stated foreign policy of win-win cooperation an active program of creating a new silk road development corridor is a path forward
which both North and South Korea can contribute to and benefit from China is firmly committed to the path of peaceful development it is committed to growing
friendship and cooperative relations with all countries in the world the historic identity of Korea has its roots in the Silk Road the former capital Gyan chu being a
major port city on the ancient Silk Road just this past August the inaugural conference of the Silk Road network of universities was held there at the conference
Schiller Institute founder held at Zeppelin Roush spoke of precisely the need for peace through development and win-win cooperation while mike Billington of ER
reiterated the need to move forward with projects like the rest on port development project elaborated in more depth in the recent report the Silk Road becomes the
world Lam bridge it can be a jumping-off point for the bonanza which has been spoken of in achieving a peaceful unification of north and south in addition to this
Keystone port development project which can serve as an economic boon to all countries on the Tumen River crucial rail links should be completed which can allow
for the fulfilment of the vision of a Eurasian landbridge extending from Pusan to Rotterdam rail originating in South Korea can connect directly to the Chinese new Silk
Road belt through rebuilding connections across the border and connections in the north can also be directly fed into the trans-siberian railroad integrating roughly 75
million Koreans into a framework of great economic potential South Korea has begun to pave the way for the future of energy thermonuclear fusion with their k-star
superconducting tokamak device in Dashawn with this frontier potential at an expanded skilled labor force Korea could demonstrate in an even more dramatic way
the possibilities for development when the false debate over limited resources is done away with and in fact Korea could help to show mankind what this future could
look like Kariya can be a mirror to the world of what a true human culture can look like this culture has long placed great value on the performance of beautiful
classical music this is not only the performance of pieces of the great European composers but Korea has made its own contribution to a world classical culture
through a genre of Korean art songs a particularly beautiful one longing for Khun Kong mountain rather than being an example of how quickly the world could devolve
into all-out war a tragedy which our human species cannot and should not enable a peace through development approach leading to the unification of Korea could
serve as an example to the world of how quickly our human species can turn on a dime rejecting the foolish ways of the past to usher in a new paradigm of
cooperation and economic development [Music] so again that was some excerpts from a video which was published exactly two years ago today on May 11th 2016
under the title peace through development the path to a unified Korea and the link to the full video is available in the description below but indeed the concluding
words of that video which was published two years ago have now proven to be very very prescient indeed a peace through development approach leading to the
unification of Korea could serve as an example to the world of how quickly our human species can turn on a dime rejecting the foolish ways of the past to usher in a
new paradigm of cooperation and economic development those were the words that concluded that video and that's exactly what we're seeing happening today the
example has been set on the Korean Peninsula now serves as a model for what could happen around the world and how quickly things can change but think about it
two years ago while we still had President Barack Obama as president of the United States and the threat of nuclear war was hanging over our heads like a sword of
Damocles two years ago did anyone imagine that in two years time we would be experiencing the kind of extraordinary breakthroughs that we're now watching
develop between those two presidents the presidents of North and South Korea did anybody imagine that in two years time you could be seeing the ending of the
cessation of hostilities on the Korean Peninsula the freeing of all the hostages the beginnings of talks to denuclearize the entire peninsula and these warm gestures
of friendship between these two presidents move in the direction of some form of unification of the economic capabilities of that Peninsula this new economic map for
the Korean Peninsula did anybody imagine that that's what we would be seeing two years ago at this point in time and honestly I produced that video and even I at
that time was somewhat incredulous as to how fast this could actually come into being if someone had asked me at that time do you really think that this stalemate
which has been in a state of frozen conflict for twice the amount of time that you have been alive twice you almost seventy over 70 years do you honestly believe that
two years from now we'll be watching the presidents of these two countries shaking hands and entering into these historic partnerships if somebody had traveled
back in time at that point from the present and shown me this tweet from President Donald Trump I would have told them that no come on you're pulling my leg well
including the fact that Donald Trump would be President of the United States I also would have thought that was a joke but no in all seriousness who would have
thought that we'd be reading a tweet like this Donald J Trump the highly anticipated meeting between Kim jong-un and myself will take place in Singapore on June
12th we will both try to make it a very special moment for world peace but that tweet really happened and this meeting is really set a few short hours after greeting the
three remaining US hostages that had been freed from North Korea at Andrews Air Force Base once the plane carrying them and secretary Mike Pompeo touched
down on US soil president Trump issued that tweet and that meeting is set to go forward a very historic moment a meeting between the president of North Korea and
the President of the United States but the lesson for all of us should be we are living in truly historic times and the possibility for real dramatic and positive change in
the direction of world peace to use president Trump's own world words the potential for change in that direction is very real and as the video which we just watched
made clear as well as the article which I cited in the beginning of this broadcast the reason that that possibility exists the key to unlocking this entire puzzle is
because of China's new Silk Road the belton Road initiative when President Xi Jingping announced the belton Road initiative in 2013 literally everything changed this
created the basis for rejecting geopolitics and the legacy of conflict and war which has made these types of breakthroughs like we're now witnessing on the Korean
Peninsula impossible up to that point and President Xi Jinping's announcement of this one belt one Road initiative created the framework instead for this kind of win-
win cooperation and economic development between countries as President Xi Jingping has called it win-win cooperation a common destiny for mankind which
provides not only the incentives for ending conflict negating a state of war but also creates the basis for a real and durable peace that basis as a positive form of
peace not just a negation of a state of war is this kind of potential for mutually beneficial progress for all nation's involved the point is ideas can truly change the
course of history the vision which was contained in that video which was produced by LaRouche PAC two years ago including the excerpts which were included from
a speech that he'll get SEP LaRouche gave in which she called for a mass movement of economic development that vision is now becoming real these development
projects which are now serving as the vehicle for peace in Korea are projects which the LaRouche movement has been championing for decades and if you look at
this process which is underway in Korea together with all of the other development projects which are now moving forward elsewhere such as the trans aqua
program in Africa to refill Lake Chad the Kroc Canal project in Thailand and countless other projects the list goes on and on all of these projects which have been
promoted by the LaRouche movement for decades all in the context of the idea of a new Silk Road as the pathway to peace these are now moving forward because
of that history changing initiative which President Xi Jinping took in 2013 when he launched the one belton one Road initiative and the critical point is that this
breakthrough in Korea was made possible only by means of the cooperation which took place between China the United States and also Russia this great powers
cooperation as Kim Jong Un's second visit to China in less than two months which occurred this week proves President Xi Jinping is playing the key role in guiding
this peace process forward as president Trump himself has recognized and has repeatedly called public attention to in tweets and speeches and in public statements
and in press conferences he has given President Xi Jinping the credit but as we celebrate the anniversary again this week of Victory in Europe day or as Victory Day
as it's called was public it was celebrated may 8th in Europe and may 9th in Russia this is the legacy of the Allies of World War two the Allies under Franklin
Roosevelt's guidance which defeated Hitler and defeated fascism but in Franklin Roosevelt's vision would go forward to form a peacetime coalition of great powers
which would bring development to the entire world that vision was derailed at the time that Franklin Roosevelt died and Truman and Churchill instead guided the
world into cold war a cold war which lasted for the remainder of the 20th century but now finally we have the opportunity to revive that vision and the breakthrough on
the Korean Peninsula should herald the beginning of a new paradigm of this kind of great powers relationship which can unlock these challenges which the world has
faced for generations so hell gets up LaRouche addressed this during her webcast yesterday and she emphasized that this breakthrough is due to the tireless effort
and vision which has been put forward over decades for these kinds of development projects which the LaRouche movement has been involved in intimately for
connecting the Korean Peninsula into this more broad New Silk Road Eurasian landbridge idea so listen to what he'll get Zeppelin Roush had to say yesterday when
Kim Jung hoon and moon yet in met president moon gave his North Korean counterpart some Drive and on that there were was a whole development plan for North
Korea and this involves three economic corridors railway lines connecting all the way from South Korea soon asked to know Korea to China and to defensively in the
railway and there is now a big discussion in Moscow in particular about the Tumen River Project now this is fantastic because you know this is an economic
development plan which involves Russia China and North Korea and it would make this region which is now very little developed into one of the big transport hubs for
all of Asia so you know if this pokum goes ahead well and you know the big effect that Pompeo was again just in North Korea preparing the summit between Tom
and Kim means you know as of now it's it's still on a very good track that if these development projects would be implemented you could have the complete economic
miracle between the two Koreas and this could you know really make the way for a peaceful unification and integration into the bed and hold initiative and transform
this area of the word from a crisis point into one of the most prosperous regions now for me the this development shows that if there is a goodwill on the side of the
political leaders you can take any crisis any crisis and you know solve it exactly the way this was solved inspectional discussions involving Russia China and the
United States and you know it is an example that with goodwill you can turn the worst crisis into the opposite and make it a hopeful perspective so one would really
hope that this lesson is being learnt and that same method is being applied to the Middle East right now you know using the fact that the new silk code is already the
most dynamic pee development on the planet that you know all the people can be bought to see the benefit of cooperating and you know joining into this
development so again the Korea breakthroughs are a model this is proof of principle and this is a lesson which must be learned and applied across the world as
Helga LaRouche said including emphatically in the Middle East so while these extremely positive developments are taking place in Asia not only the developments
on the Korean Peninsula but also as we mentioned the realignment between China and Japan the opening up of new relations between China and India while all of
these very positive developments in the direction of this new paradigm are taking place on the other hand a very dangerous situation is developing on the other side
of the world in the Middle East specifically in Syria and Iran as well as in Yemen the stakes the the strikes that have been launched just over the past few days by
Israel into Syria are clearly intended to inflame this region and to inflame a conflict with Iran and are part of an array of other provocations if you put this together with
President Trump's announcement that he is abandoning the Iran nuclear deal we have a very really dangerous situation developing in that region and he'll gets up
LaRouche warned that she is quite worried that this decision under the influence of certain advisors in the Trump administration to abandon the Iran nuclear deal
could have a negative impact on the Korea process and she said later in that same webcast that the solution in Iran the solution in Syria the solution in the entirety of
the Middle East is to apply the Silk Road model in exactly the same way that it's being applied in the Korean Peninsula emphatically with the kind of Great Powers
cooperation between Russia China in the United States that we've seen taking place in Korea so listen to what he'll gets up LaRouche had to say further in that
webcast from yesterday any peace plan or any security architecture has to take into account the security in of all participating countries now obviously given the
condition of the entire Middle East after the destructive was in in Iraq Syria Yemen Afghanistan it is very clear that the only thing which will really solve the problems
of this region would be what I have said many times before you need the extension of the new silk cord into the entire region from Afghanistan to the Mediterranean
from the Caucasus to the Gulf and basically you have a development plan for all of these countries as an integrated one and this obviously could only work if Russia
China India Iran Egypt United States and hopefully European countries are all agreeing that this region must be economically build up and the only way you can have
peace in the region and really get rid of terrorism is if you have a perspective for the hope for the future so I would really hope that if President Trump says he has no
alternative plan then a more comprehensive plan then it should absolutely include joint ventures you know of the United States Russia China India in the
development of this region and the beginning was made between President Xi Jingping and more even they met in Wuhan a couple of week ago where India and
China said they would start joint development projects in Afghanistan building a railroad from Afghanistan Tajikistan Kyrgyzstan Iran China and that would be the of
many other projects to follow you need a comprehensive economic development plan for it to work and you know so I would really hope that President Tom wood
would think in this direction because I think that's the only way it could be stabilized and I can only say you know there must be a complete change in the attitude
because do you politics is the stuff of which to word was we're made and given the fact that you have the minds of Mayor today we should really make a solemn
commitment never again we cannot have word was again and this kind of destabilization has the potential of spinning out of control if there would be a military conflict
between Israel and Iran which is not to be excluded at this point it could spin out of control and lead to the extinction of civilization so this is not stuff to be played with
so again as Helga LaRouche declared on January 1st of this year 2018 must be the year that we end geopolitics and we're seeing a lot of very positive indications in
that direction but we're also seeing the danger that the reaction against that is leading to a desperation which could be the impetus towards reigniting these conflict
zones and using them to start a world war type of situation so we have to have a very clear and urgent sense of necessity when we look at what he'll get SEP la
Ruche called for in her New Year's address January 1st of this year we should be encouraged by the breakthroughs that are taking place we should apply these
lessons and we should recognize that the Silk Road this vision of a new common destiny for mankind and peace through economic development this has been the
key which has allowed us to unlock this seemingly intractable situation on the Korean Peninsula and it could be applied elsewhere president Trump clearly
understands that to a certain extent praising the role that President Xi Jingping has played and working very closely together with President Xi in the situation in
Korea but this must be extended to his view of the entire world and understanding that this great powers relationship is necessary to solve these conflicts worldwide
so this is the reason why we've now reprinted an update form of this mass-circulation pamphlet which LaRouche PAC is now circulating this is lucius for laws the
LaRouche 2018 campaigned to win the future a new paradigm for mankind and obviously the three pledges which comprised the LaRouche PAC 2018 campaign
program are one stop this kind of Russia gate coup attempt to undermine the Trump presidency which is not personally against Trump but this is a strategy to
undermine the possibility for the great powers relationship that Trump is inclined towards between the United States and Russia targeted specifically but also
between the United States and China pledge number two is that President Trump must reciprocate China's offer to join the New Silk Road and that the United States
must fully come on board with the belt and Road initiative on this idea of securing the common aims of mankind and then pledge number three is that the United
States must fully adopt Lyndon LaRouche 'as for laws for economic recovery which are the pathway towards the United States fully embracing this new paradigm of
great project development which is now beginning to sweep the globe and must be applied not just in these regions around the world but also must be brought right
here to the United States for the economic development vision which Lyndon LaRouche has championed championed here in the United States for decades this
would be a return to the American system of Alexander Hamilton with the kind of national bank credit creation capabilities that our federal government was endowed
with under our Constitution and the use of that to have a crash program for the development of fusion power could be done in conjunction with Korea as was
mentioned in that video and also the aggressive reassertion of an expanded manned exploration of space so that's what's contained in this LaRouche PAC 2018
camp to win the future and as I said it's now been printed it's in circulation and you can get your hands either on a print copy or it's accessible at the link that is
available in the description to this video el pack Co /yt 2018 so we encourage you get your hands on that copy visit the Action Center and become an active volunteer
with the LaRouche PAC 2018 campaign to win the future there's a lot of positive developments which should give you optimism that ideas truly can change the
course of history but you should also feel a real sense of urgency that this is truly a race against time to secure the new paradigm for the benefit of the entire globe so
thank you very much for joining us today and please stay tuned to LaRouche PAC comm as I am sure dramatic developments are yet to come

Attorney General Jeff Sessions, after creating a Justice Department task force targeting prescription drug manufacturers and distributors of prescription opioids, was
interviewed May 1 by the Washington Post. Sessions asked his interviewer: “Have you read Dreamland? For the first time, you get a glimpse of how it [the American
opioid addiction epidemic] really developed.”
When crime reporter Sam Quinones testified to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee on Jan. 9, 2018 on one of the greatest crimes against
America in its history, he had already gone beyond the extraordinary understanding of the nation’s drug addiction epidemic “glimpsed” in this book, published in 2016.
He now knew that new national missions, like a “new Apollo Project” for the space program and a “new Marshall Plan” for Appalachia, were needed to lift Americans
back up out of the mud of depression, personal isolation, and addiction.
But when writing Dreamland in 2014-15, Quinones had already grasped that deindustrialization—the collapse of the American industrial heartland—, along with loss
of belief in the goodness of government and of community of shared values, had driven this continuing mass crime, now killing 65-70,000 Americans each year and
degrading the lives of millions.
Judging from the reactions of the Senators who heard his testimony, most of whom had read Dreamland, many are so struck by the details of his amazing “true tale”
of U.S. mass addiction, that they choose not to hear what Quinones says about the real American values lost. These include the sense of productiveness, the value
of creative participation in strengthening community and government, the ability to work through stress and pain for the sake of something better for future
generations.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions, visiting the memorial to the victims of the opioid crisis, “Prescribed to Death,” by the National Safety Council, April 12, 2018.
Quinones’ true tale of the addiction epidemic is much stranger than fiction; and it can, in itself, be depressing without the idea of a national mission to reverse it. He
clearly knows this.
Anything for Money, Morphine
Becomes Money
Quinones has been reporting on crime, mostly for the Los Angeles Times, for more than two decades; for nearly one decade around the turn of this century he lived
in Mexico, found out how trafficking actually works there and lived to tell the story in two earlier books.
Only by reading this book can one take in, slowly, the literally month-by-month riveting details of 25 years of this great crime, which Quinones learned over a decade
from many, many law enforcement sources, addiction experts, local elected officials and business people, physicians of many disciplines, addicts at all stages of
addiction and withdrawal, heroin dealers imprisoned and at large, and others.
We can simply summarize its sequences and consequences.
Below, two tablets of the opioid Oxycodon. Above, the opioid Vicodin.
Beginning in the later 1980s, a huge campaign by some major pharmaceutical companies succeeded in corrupting the morality of large sections of the American
medical community. Big Pharma rather suddenly deployed massive sales forces to doctors, employing what Wall Street has made familiar as mis-selling and
fraudulent practices, on behalf of their blockbuster painkillers Oxycontin (Purdue), Vicodin (Pfizer), etc. The myth of a 100% effective but “non-addictive” analgesic—
morphine after 1900, synthetic heroin from 1930 through WWII—arose again. Quack theories were published and taught, which would inspire envy in Wall Street
traders and investment advisors at the peak of a bubble. Large numbers of doctors bought it.
• Big pharma also thoroughly corrupted the fields of medical training, continuing education, and consulting, entrenching the idea of “pain as the fifth vital sign” which
physicians must measure and treat. Measuring it was a fool’s errand, but treating it was deceptively easy and made virtually mandatory with the coercive complicity of
the health insurers. Most doctors were swept along, and some came to operate “pill mills.” The worst few even sold opioids for odd jobs, favors, or sex from patients,
and/or even became addicted themselves.
• What made this moral corruption “succeed” was deindustrialization of the American manufacturing and mining heartland. It robbed the Middle West and Appalachia
in the East and Southeast of steady, productive, well-paid employment—for many places, a“community keystone” employment—and relatively impoverished many in
the Southwest, West, and New England as well. As towns and urban neighborhoods lost keystone work and fell apart, hard workers lost their pensions and looked to
disability and workman’s comp as long-lasting unemployment insurance. Formerly productive people became isolated with their aches and pains, and had little to
show for them except disability insurance, and deep worries about their children.
• The “anything for money” moral decline was demonstrated in what was actually the leading edge of the prescription opiate epidemic in the 1990s: Seniors in towns
and cities in Appalachia, with generous painkiller prescriptions for their medical conditions covered by Medicare or Medicaid, sold their extra oxycodone to high
school and college students to make ends meet. In effect, grandparents dealt drugs to their grandchildren to supplement their sole income, Social Security.
• The glorification of sports at all levels—compensatory for the loss of a productive future for youth—made colleges, cities, and towns lavish money on sports
facilities, and created “star” athletes who need not study for more than a barely passing grade. Professional, college, even high school teams handed out opiates
free, with or without prescriptions, to their athletes for the injuries from increasingly hypercompetitive sports.

Two high school football teams taking each other on, in September 2018.
By the end of the 1990s in towns and smaller cities in West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan . . . grandparents were dealing oxycodone; quarterbacks and
soccer stars were dealing it; unemployed ironworkers were dealing; popular kids in middle-class high schools were dealing. Even some doctors, besides prescribing
it, were dealing.
• Other parts of the country, like the Southwest, had their own peculiar forms of spread of the habit. What all had in common was that oxycodone, by 2000 or so, had
passed from being a prescription painkiller which was often abused by individuals, to an addictive drug prescribed and dealt through networks, for money, by tens of
thousands, to millions.
Enter ‘the Internet for Heroin’
• During the 1990s a new heroin “cartel” spread its operations from southern California eventually right across the country, to become the United States’ biggest
heroin-dealing force. Although these heroin dealers from the small Mexican state of Nayarit paid “protection” to the Sinaloa and Zetas cartels in order to operate—
and though the big money flowed through a half-dozen extended families in Mexico—the dealers coming into the United States were unarmed youth, directed by city
“cell leaders” not much older than themselves, driving tiny amounts of extremely pure and potent heroin to addicts, like pizza delivery boys. Quinones never calls
them the Nayarit cartel, but rather a new type of monster, “the Internet for heroin.”
• Quinones’ chronicle of the spread of this larger and larger network of 20-year-old heroin delivery boys is the most surprising part of his “true tale”; it carries an
almost macabre interest for the reader. With clean-cut non-violence and addict-friendly service, avoiding gang-ridden big cities, avoiding black Americans and
targeting middle-class whites, the Nayarit dealers became more proficient killers than the most violent drug gangs of New York, Baltimore, or Los Angeles.
• Finally, by the first decade of this century the leaders of “the Internet for heroin” had realized that the “chiva” they were selling, was essentially the same product as
the oxycodone already being prescribed by the millions. Their version was illegal, but could be made much less expensively, while pure and potent enough to bring
euphoria, or to kill. Methadone treatment centers took on particular significance for “heroin capture” of oxycodone and other opioid addicts.
The nationwide epidemic then became more and more deadly. Despite some more or less effective efforts to bring doctors, pill mills and pharma distribution
companies under control; despite bigger and bigger Federal cases busting scores of heroin dealers at a time, the number of Americans dying of opiate overdoses
continued to rise. And in the most recent year studied, 2016, when 65,000 died of overdoses, a full two-thirds—42,000—were killed by heroin.
What Was Destroyed
Already in writing Dreamland, Sam Quinones identified certain basic, bottom-up values which he thought were being wiped out by the decades of deindustrialization
and privatization, replaced by forms of moral corruption.
He considers the search for an ultimate, “non-addictive” painkiller to be morally questionable and futile, and the demand to be completely free of pain as a sign of
social isolation. He postulates that working through stress, and overcoming pain are a part of accomplishment, productiveness, and creativity.
He believes that working for community benefit, social and political activism, perhaps even what used to be derided as “boosterism,” is also an American form of
creativity. He describes community cohesion as a basic value strongly linked to places of long-lasting keystone employment, and of public recreation.
And he thinks the essential belief that government—including national government—has great potential power for the common good, has been lost in the lionization
of supposed unmatched abilities of private corporations.
Sam Quinones, testifying before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, Jan. 9, 2018.
The question not raised in Dreamland, however, was: What should that potential power for common good be used to do in this crisis—even assuming renewed
community activism against the ravages of addiction?
Quinones began his 10-minute Senate testimony Jan. 9 by talking about the devastation of the American heartland by free trade, globalization, privatization, and
multinational corporate priorities, which have “wrought a second Gilded Age.” He said the widespread addiction was “ignited by supply.”
Then he proposed to the Senators:
What To Do
“View this as an opportunity to revive those regions hammered by globalization and free trade. The roots of our national epidemic of narcotic addiction lie there, while
the epidemic itself, in turn, stands in the way of their revival.
“I believe American history offers us two templates for actions, from which you might take guidance and inspiration.
“The first is the Marshall Plan to rebuild Europe after World War II. The second is our space program. Each involved government and the private sector acting in
concert over many years, bringing money, brains, energy, and of course long-term focus to bear. Each achieved an unalloyed good for our country; although they
were both things that seemed, at first blush, far beyond our own, short-term self-interest.
“The Marshall Plan was about building up ravaged regions to allow them to function independently. . . . It allowed reborn countries to prosper and contribute to the
world again. A Marshall Plan for American recovery might focus on rebuilding those regions that have been caught in dependence on dope, and ravaged by
economic devastation, to contain the viral spread of addiction.” [China’s West Virginia investmentsirresistably come to mind.]
“Through our space program we were inspired as a people, to spend years and dollars, all to achieve something no previous generation ever thought possible. We
ended up far beyond the Moon. The spillover in economic benefit, increase in knowledge, and simple human inspiration, is beyond calculation.
“It seems to me that we might profitably apply these examples—the Marshall Plan, and the space program—to regions of forgotten Americans where this [addiction]
problem began. Let’s do it, not because it is easy, but as JFK said, because it is hard; because that’s what Americans do, and have always done, at their greatest.
“Like our space program, I believe such an effort will have to last for years to be effective, focused far beyond the immediate goal of drug addiction, and on the more
profound problems of community destruction and the hollowing-out of stretches of this country.”
“It offers an opportunity to reinvest in areas that need it most, a chance to inspire us as Americans again, to something great. . . .
“Do not miss this opportunity. It does not come around often. . . . You will be remembered for acting, when acting was not easy to do.”
In two full rounds of questioning Jan. 9, involving 18 Committee members, many with Quinones’ book in front of them, and many speaking at length as Senators
will, no one recurred to his two “big ideas.”
It is up to American citizens, above all those moved by Lyndon LaRouche’s movement and his ”Four New Laws to Save the Nation” with which Quinones’ proposals
resonate, to realize them.

Coming amidst the completely unprecedented developments of the recent weeks, yesterday's celebration of V-E Day in Moscow, and particularly President Putin's
deeply moving tribute to those who unstintingly gave all to defeat the Nazis, call to mind our American President, Franklin Roosevelt, who had succumbed, worn out,
just weeks before the final defeat of Nazism. Roosevelt's death at that moment cheated that generation out of the promise of the postwar world, and the postwar
America, for which he had so long planned and fought.
Lyndon LaRouche's New Delhi address of Dec. 3, 2008, "The Time Has Come for a New System," in which he first proposed the "Four-Power Agreement,"
reproduces Franklin Roosevelt's thinking of back then, through the prism of LaRouche's more advanced concepts up through the present.
Lyndon LaRouche said, "We have to have a coalition of forces on the planet, which is strong enough, and understands its mutual self-interest sufficiently, to restore
the kind of control which the United States attempted to promote under Franklin Roosevelt. Roosevelt, in dealing with China, and dealing with the Soviet Union, and
other countries, toward the end of the war, said, you don't have to like the other country; you don't have to like its government; you don't have to like its policy. What
you have to do, is establish an international system of control, under which you don't have things running loose, which are menaces. Simply having treaty
organizations or similar things tantamount to treaty organizations, where people have such an interest in maintaining the treaty organization that they will regulate
themselves and their own country. And you can get cooperation on this."
This was the way in which Roosevelt intended to compose a postwar world with Stalin's Russia, China and India. But his successor, Harry Truman, offered to meet
Stalin just as soon as he could come to the United States—which he well knew Stalin would never do. The model for postwar Germany was to be what we have seen
in Austria—neutrality freed from foreign military occupation. A united Germany would have flourished—but that was not to be. The Korean War, which has loomed
over us from its beginning in 1950 until the present moment, offered Stalin a way to punch back against Anglo-American military pressure in Europe, through an
unguarded back-door in Asia. In retrospect, another sort of nightmare followed after World War II, because Roosevelt died and his plans and ideals were buried with
him by British imperialism.
Within his proposed four-power agreement, LaRouche proposed using the uniqueness of the U.S. Constitution to anchor the issuance of massive amounts of credit-
generation for productive investment, emphasizing infrastructure. There is no way to set about transforming the millions of unskilled labor in India, for example, into
skilled labor, without massive infrastructure creation.
Back then, in 1945, we had failed to create the postwar world which our heroes expected and deserved. Instead of that bright promise, we spent an entire lifetime
under the threat of nuclear war—a threat which persists today. But today, a new alternative is opened thanks to Lyndon LaRouche's creative vision, centered in the
Belt and Road Initiative launched by China's President Xi Jinping, which over one hundred countries have joined in with.
Today, Mahathir Mohamad, at age 92, was re-inaugurated as Prime Minister of Malaysia 15 years after he last left that position, becoming the world's oldest elected
leader. Mahathir Mohamad is very well-known internationally for his open agreement with Lyndon LaRouche, for instance, concerning George Soros. He assumes
office as a world leader who is a Muslim, who is also a foremost partisan of the Belt and Road initiative, which he said today he had suggested in detail in a personal
letter to President Xi Jinping. Today, our phones are ringing of the hook with people calling to tell us how important Mahathir Mohamad's fight for the Belt and Road is
for the Middle East, which is being threatened by dangerous proxy warfare. It's true. The Belt and Road is the answer for Southwest Asia—as Lyndon LaRouche has
proposed for over 40 years, and as Franklin Roosevelt would agree.

obviously there's been a great deal of turmoil and is a great deal of change that's happened in the international situation many people are very concerned about what
the significance is of what just happened with the president walking away from the Iran deal some people are concerned about other matters what does Korea really
mean and so on we have a lead for tomorrow's briefing which I want to read at this point in order that we get a get above any of those particulars and so that when
we get to our discussion period in which we will be featuring various reports from our organizing people can be thinking above the particular and not reacting to them
except from the standpoint of placing them in the context of the global picture that we've been working to create so the lead of our briefing is called if Roosevelt had
lived I'm just going to read this to you coming amidst the completely unprecedented developments of the recent weeks yesterday's celebration of Victory in Europe
day in Moscow read this refers to the the end of World War two in May of 1945 and it and particularly president Putin's deeply moving tribute to those who
unstintingly gave all to defeat the Nazis this calls to mind our American president Franklin Roosevelt who had succumbed or worn out just weeks before the final
defeat of Nazism Roosevelt's death at that moment cheated that generation out of the promise of the post-war world and post-war America which he had so long
planned and fought Lyndon LaRouche is New Dehli address of December 3rd 2008 called the kind the time has come for a new system in which he first proposed the
for power agreement meaning the United States Russia China in India reproduces Franklin Roosevelt thinking of back then through the prism of LaRussa's more
advanced concepts up to the present Lyndon LaRouche said at that time quote we have to have a coalition of forces on the planet which is strong enough and
understands its mutual self-interest sufficiently to restore the kind of control which the United States attempted to promote under Franklin Roosevelt Roosevelt in

which are menaces simply having treaty organizations or similar things can't amount to treaty organizations where people have such an interest in maintaining the
treaty organization that they will regulate themselves and their own country and you can get cooperation on this that's the end of the section from Elizabeth
LaRouche from 2008 uh this goes on it says I'm going to skip a bit of it here uh this was the way in which Roosevelt intended to compose a post-war world with
Stalin's Russia with China and India but his successor Harry Truman offered to meet Stalin just as soon as he sahlan would come to the United States which Truman
well knew Stalin would never do the model for post-war Germany was to be what we have seen in Austria neutrality freed from foreign military occupation our united

creation back then in 1945 we had failed to create the post world world which our hero's expected and deserved instead of that bright promise we spent an entire
lifetime under the threat of nuclear war a threat which persists today but today a new alternative is opened thanks to Lyndon LaRouche is creative vision centered in
the belt and Road initiative launched by China's President Xi Jinping which over 100 countries have joined in with and then finally this section today meaning this
today may tenth Mahathir Mohamad at age 92 was rien auger ated as Prime Minister of Malaysia 15 years after he last left that position becoming the world's oldest
elected leader my idea Muhammad is very well known internationally for his open agreement with Lyndon LaRouche for instance concerning George Soros about this
we'll say a lot more later he assumes office as a world leader who is a Muslim was also a former foremost partisan of the Belden Road initiative which he said today
he had suggested in detail in a personal letter to President Xi Jinping today our phones are ringing off the hook with people calling to tell us how important Monti of
Muhammad's fight for the belt and road is for the Middle East which is being threatened by dangerous proxy warfare it's true the Berlin Road is the answer for
Southwest Asia as Lyndon LaRouche had proposed for over 40 years and as Franklin Roosevelt would agree so we just wanted to space we start off by reading that
because that gives us the proper context to look at what is indeed a dangerous world situation but a situation in which the solution concept has not only been
provided many many years ago but is now being actively implemented and that includes the negotiations and discussions with North Korea that will now as we know
be happening in Singapore between the presidents of North Korea and of the United States so I've I've said what I think we need to say to sort of set this up the the
particular discussion we want to have tonight without all requests propose that several people get involved in this is about our pamphlet about the LaRouche PAC
2018 pamphlet its distribution its organizing and changes that we've seen as a result of our squads going out on the street that we want to make sure that people
become aware of in the present political organizing circumstance in the United States so our presentation is gonna be given by Bill Roberts who I think is now with us
bill are you there I'm here yeah can you hear me yes okay go ahead okay so as people know the LaRouche PAC has now officially launched the 2000 camp 2018
campaign to win the future and for this purpose the LaRouche PAC has produced a pamphlet you could say reprinted a economic recovery pamphlet but in reality
entire portions of this pamphlet have been rewritten and the purpose of this pamphlet is to create an army of activists essentially equipped with Lyndon LaRouche 'as
you need ideas in in economics as they translate directly into the policies that are necessary to be implemented to as the pamphlet says win the future so the
pamphlet was rewritten in order to introduce the reader to LaRussa's four laws from the top from the fourth law on down in order to avoid what some of us quickly
realized is the problem in trying to communicate Lyndon LaRouche is for economic laws for recovery individually which the problem is that someone who's not
already familiar with LaRussa's economics will tend to interpret each of these sort of economic steps from the standpoint of a flawed monetary conception of
economics so we rewrote the introduction of this pamphlet to instead introduce readers to Lyndon LaRouche --is unique approach to physical economy which is
which proceeds from the idea that the only true source of economic gain or profit our revolutionary scientific advancements that transform mankind's relationship to
the physical universe in a way that no other species is capable of doing this at all and once it is understood that that transformation of mankind's relation to the
physical universe increasing mankind's productive powers of Labor through fundamental scientific advancements namely on our horizon the challenge of fusion
power being sort of the primary frontier that that mankind can look forward to giving to the future um once it is it is understood that such a revolutionary process is
actually the proper source of profit by which wages are increased by which improvements of edge in education and healthcare are secured for the workforce we can
essentially move backwards from LaRussa's fourth law to understand each of the other essential three other economic laws as following necessarily from that
conception of LaRouche in economics namely we can move move on to understand the proper role of infrastructure in creating the social and economic platform by
which science and technology can be translated into increases in per-capita productivity that that's actually what the function of what we might call infrastructure is it's
to create in fact a platform social economic platform necessary to bring mankind up to utilizing the revolutionary scientific advances which actually drive human
economy forward that that is actually the value of these long term infrastructure investments we can then understand what a credit system is in other words people
can approach the conception of a credit system from that top-down way without being sort of caught up in trying to conceptualize this from the standpoint of the
current monetary system they can see which projects are deserving of credit as allocated by a National Bank as directed by a national banking system then glass-
steagall becomes clear as the means by which we eradicate the impediment to this physical economic growth by actually having a banking system that is freed of the
predatory you know derivative type activity that really makes this this economic growth process possible that that glassing was not a reform of the monetary system
it's a means of actually eradicating the impediment to having a real economic system so this is a conception that we are now deploying this pamphlet allows I think
the readers to master the essentials of LaRussa's thinking on how we organize a real economy and for this reason we necessarily should be organizing a coalition of
producers to become activists to take these ideas and mobilize to to implement them it's it's not necessarily necessary that someone be a candidate maybe they are
already an elected official maybe they are a constituency leader a mayor a director of a labor union a professional association what-have-you but if you think about it
Lucia's conception of how you organize society around this conception of real profit address is probably most of the concerns that people have that they think they
should be addressing from a lower level but they'll quickly be able to see that unless you're generating unless you're overturning this rotten failed Monetary London
Wall Street system you really can't address the problems of the population in a way that allows people to see that that these problems become addressed in a way
that society addresses them together that we address all of these problems by reversing the class process whether it's drugs poverty you know educational system
breakdown what have you and you know from that standpoint there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to talk to the constituency leaders of about eighty-five
percent of the population unless someone is at a George Soros Barack Obama Democrat a never Trump er or I guess a Friedrich von Hayek worshipping you know
free-market lunatic who just is completely opposed to the idea of a natural bag really everyone else I think you know if they are willing and motivated can really
become activists for these for these ideas and I think we've you know we've begun this week to go into different areas of the country I think we'll be getting some
reports on how some of our field squads and activists or you know deploying these ideas but I think what we've got is we've got a dynamic that Lyndon LaRouche
defined for forecast in in his 90th birthday speech in 2012 in which he forecasted that we are at the end of the dominance of a political party system and what was
going to have to come to replace this was the responsibility of the individual citizens of this country to be calm informed as to what what what is the that that the
individual citizens have to essentially be able to make decisions on economic policies based on an understanding of this country's constitutional tradition that is we
that is essentially we have to become a republic again and people are not gravitating back toward the political parties the the the upset the revolution that happened
in this 2016 election with Donald Trump being elected the parties aren't in any less of a disarray you know I think that's that's pretty clear Republican Party's in
disarray the Democratic Party is in disarray you know and I think you know what we're finding and we'll get some reports on this is that we're getting a we're getting a
reflection of especially among productive layers scientific layers farmers people in in industry we're getting a reflection of the sort of layers that Lyndon LaRouche
with this campaign intervene in it with his presidential campaigns intervened into that that despite despite this country having a kind of pseudo British or Anglo
American news and entertainment culture you know University academic environment that's really been taken completely the other direction from from what this
country was was founded on there is still a central character you know the American way of doing things that that people still believe in a sense of a sense of morality
a sense of the significance of individual human life the the fact that that the human mind generates generates wealth despite the popular culture there is still that that
sense that exists in America of what liveness of what Hamilton you know wrote about and believed in and fought for which is that you can increase profit and increase
the real wages of our workforce at the same time through through what is known as as artificial labor I would add that Benjamin Franklin you know also argued that
you can increase the population at the same time in fact you Benjamin Franklin argued that we needed to increase the population of the United States actually in
order to be capable of organizing the kinds of technological up shifts that we needed to build a nation and that he was being proved that the colonies were being
prevented from doing this by the British monarchy so so this can this conception of revolutionary upward transformations in your economy which increase profit but at
the same time allow for an increase in the wages of your workforce and that you said you would these through certain kinds of capital investment I mean this has
been a legacy in this country that that has continued since the time that Abraham Lincoln defeated the Confederacy and launched the industrial revolution in the
United States in my recent look at the discussion of how Henry Henry Ford Motor Company produced millions of Model T's by making them cheap enough for people
to buy he the people at Ford Motor Company had a direct sense of how you do this by doing exactly what the British don't you is that instead of selling things
expensive and making your workforce cheap you do just the opposite you actually pay people a good wage and you you bring down the cost of the car through
implementing labor saving devices all kinds of capital investments and you upgrade your workforce to be capable of the productivity involved in that this is what's
known as the American system and and it is you know despite the despite the environment on the campuses to display what's largely taken over the Democratic
Party um you know this is still really a kind of beneath the surface tendency that Lyndon LaRouche always tapped into in his campaign by presenting the reality of the
American system as something completely opposite to what has corrupted the the economic teaching in our universities in terms of this Adam Smith British
conception the slave ah cracy shareholder value etc so we have we've got to move very quickly we don't have a large organization we don't have a whole lot of
resource is what we have are the extremely powerful ideas of Lyndon LaRouche which are advancements on what was once the fundamental economic character of
this country we have to recruit an army of activists and this pamphlet was designed to exactly facilitate that kind of rapid educational program we have the candidacy
of Keisha Rogers Keisha Rogers represents the some of the leading scientific community in this country the space program NASA we have Ron Weiser running in
South Dakota Ron and his farmers farming friends typify the kind of the kind of challenge of being a producer in a country where things are rigged against the
producer but you have to constantly be finding ways to implement various scientific and technological innovations you know to save costs so that people can be fed
so we we have we have our flagship campaigns um but this is really just the tip of the iceberg and you know I think I think that the challenge right now is that there is
you know there are a lot of people running running for office you know we've got to establish a certain kind of standard for what the American citizen demands as the
competent policy for the country and you know and again you know there's a lot of layers you you have you know you've got scientists farmers industrial operatives
people are striving struggling to maintain the festival survival of our national economy who will just automatically will really resonate with the way in which Lin has
pulled together a very clear top-down sense of how this has got to work nationally in terms of a credit system we have firefighters police teachers you know the
people have been largely responsible for trying to deal with the fallout of the collapse of the real economy and you know and and gladly would would mobilize to take
this thing head-on sort of from the top as a responsibility as a citizen who sees the impossibility of trying to continue to function within within within the present system
within within this collapse process so I think that really defines our mission that we have we don't have really a whole lot of time we now have this pamphlet we now
have this pamphlet produced and I think we're going to get some reports in terms of the kind of explosive response we're getting to this but I think I think I think
probably for everyone on this call the challenge is to replicate in a whole number of other people the kind of comprehension that you are now now have from this
pamphlet within other people who can be activated because we have to very quickly build up sort of an army of activists one on this around us around this effort so I
think I'll just open with that because I'm sure there's a lot of discussion and reports that people have ok Q&A session started all right yeah thanks a lot bill so people
can now get into the queue press star-6 to get into the queue and while you're doing that I want to take a couple things up that were brought up by Bill while bill said
that we are a small organization with not a lot of resources actually that may not be true and what I mean that way that I'll put it like this if you look at it from the
standpoint of the way people think about organization that may be true well the way people think about resources one thing that is true of our organization and again
press star 6 to get into queue if you have a question comment if you are not on the phone directly but let's say are listening to us on YouTube I didn't get to it do us
bribe me email or text message and somebody will pass me those to be easier for me I get messages that way but just back on this the the this tweet with this
organization printed more material than any organization in history with the exception of Ben Franklin but when he was doing it he also didn't have internet he didn't
have mass communications and so forth so actually from January 1st 2nd of 1974 until today we've had a daily briefing we've looked at the world and internationally
in more detail more extensively than any other except for government organizations right we were once called by Nevaeh an unfortunate character named Norman
Bailey the best private intelligence agency in the world that was back in 1984 but the truth of the matters that we've been doing this for 44 years and so actually there
are a lot of people were out there who've been organized by us in various ways resources wise I think the essential thing that we've got to do is to discover those
resources and get people to help us discover them these are financial absolutely and there are also human resources there's also contributions in kind there are
many different ways but I think the important thing is that we're talking about a dynamic process bill already said yes we want some candidates but you don't have to
be a candidate for this process the only entity a candidate there is a candidate for reason and and getting that across the people now I think people begun to get into
the queue so what we're going to do is we're going to go with are both reports and question so again if you have a report or a question press star six to get into our -
we'll go with the first person in here right now okay all right are you able to hear me yeah hi Bill and Dennis can I be heard yes yes okay great this is uh this is Kevin
from Boston and I just wanted to give a brief report on the work that we did in group before of us just concluded a tour in upstate New York basically four of us hit four
cities in four days Rotterdam which is the home of Noel's atomic where they build nuclear submarines Altamonte also Cobleskill and Cooper's counts and we had it
really the idea was to go into the real former heavy and high-tech industrial areas to you know bring the idea of LaRoche's for laws and how to actually rebuild the
United States and we it was really kind of the first for Ray that we had using this new tool this new weapon to educate our fellow citizens and we had great success
we in four days we recruited some 40 new members to the LaRouche political action committee many more contributors many more supporters many more contacts
we establish contact with candidates with elected officials a mayor a state legislator what have you and really we centered the fight on contrasting the two systems
that we have on one hand the the this Imperial system the the British imperial system which means war it means the financial casino of Wall Street it means the kind
of destruction that we had under both Bush and Obama and that that policy that was rejected by the American population contrast us being involved in these regime
change wars that have been disastrous for the Middle East and disastrous for the United States to what the Neo Lynne and Helga created as the new paradigm and
in the same time period that we had these wars made possible by the crimes of robert muller and covering up the saudi role in September 11th etc at the same time
as we had that China built 20,000 miles of high-speed rail lines they lifted 700 million people out of poverty not by some miracle but by following the policies that
LaRouche laid out by following the American system the approach of Lincoln a Franklin Roosevelt of John Kennedy and that's what has to be restored and in that
contacting and using the pamphlet to illustrate that people really got a deeper sense of what the question is of defending the Trump presidency of keeping this
president in there of ensuring that he can succeed in doing what he was elected to do in changing the the path of the United States from this British imperial system
to joining that new paradigm so there are a lot of details there's a lot of anecdotes that could be gone through but I think that in a nutshell that's kind of what we
accomplished it was very successful a lot of fun and people thrilled to see us out there fighting ok good do you want to say anything about that you want to continue
not keep going that's good ok very good for the next person ok you able to hear us yes this is Ron from Houston and I thought it'd make good just give a report on
Nikita's campaign the reaction to it really because it's she's got a history here but LaRouche as a whole as Kevin and we're just laying out and you just laid out um
LaRouche has a history you from the 70s to the 80s and all these areas including the area where Keith is running we're LaRouche candidate Claude Jones won the
Democratic primary here back in ethic was 88 following the elections there in Illinois so this this whole 80s kind of base that's in a really are base that can be
enlivened again on cash this campaign we have is people know a relatively low number of signatures we've got to get 500 but the way the districts laid out in terms of
getting to the people in the we've been averaging in shopping centers and things about 50% of them valid even though we asked all the specific questions but we're
at 500 that we need we're now at 950 clerks we're going to go for at least twice that 500,000 so we're moving into the phase of going to the notary getting inbound
and finally and then being ready for any kind of challenge they might put up but just across the board there's a real you know excitement about an independent
running um in many cases the fact that Keisha's running it brings up questions of emotion people remembering him especially and now the reality we're in I think it
really rings through to people that they can you know in a very quick manner go from being totally confused about the situation we face and I have a an avenue to
basically move right to the front of the policy and the fight and actually join a fight both in the campaign but also with getting the literature out and knowing what the
policy has to be so are people who've been going out on Saturdays been having a been having these rallies and neighborhoods and you know when we did this past
week just to kind of give an example we did a church function in the morning and then they'd be walking to in that area later in the afternoon and then happened to go
to a kind of evening picnic function that the church was running and so he bumped into people who had missed us at the the door at home but saw the Pushcart later
and then signed up in the evening when they saw you know Keisha out again so it's um it's been a combination of those kinds of events door-to-door in
neighborhoods plus the various kinds of shopping centers and we should be rounding up the petition phases phase one here getting the filing done and then totally
changing the situation as we go into the next phase I think there's only one other candidate other than Al Green running it's a libertarian on the ballot who was you
know made someone into impotent comment that there's one independent running but he doesn't think they'll have the capability of getting the signatures but
otherwise the campaign and that level has been pretty quiet but as soon as we get filed I think it'll heat up okay good any response to that bill you want to just
continue car let's let's keep getting a getting report okay maybe we can great all right are you able to hear me oh let me also just say for people who have gotten on
because several people have gotten on since we concluded the opening statements press star six to get into queue if you have a question or comment a press star-6
okay go ahead if you were able to hear me Dennis this wrong am I on all right go ahead okay this one coke in doubt in Michigan just wanted to give a brief report on
the office opening for one of the six Republican candidates that are running in the eleventh congressional district out here there's about six Republicans running in
the district and I think now six or seven Democrats running in that primary and it was kind of a reflection of the years of presence that we've had in the state and I've
had nationally this there were three coach State Michigan statewide co-chairs of the Trump campaign who were in attendance at this thing including the Canada
herself and when I arrived there there was about 200 people there and introduce myself to the candidate the react the initial reaction was almost like you're with
LaRouche oh that's so sad and by the time that we finished the process in speaking to the other people who are activists and know who we are including another co-
chair who has gotten our pamphlet and read our pamphlet immediately and another co-chair who and I this was the first time meeting him said Oh LaRouche I know
you people from the 1980s these were people who lived through the Muller dossier lived through the Strategic Defense Initiative Lewis lived through the impact on
the Reagan administration another older fellow there when I started explaining LaRouche he reacted it as if it was almost an insult to his intelligence that one would
assume that you wouldn't know who LaRouche was bikers for Trump 300 member group another founder of the right-to-work movement in the state not that we
agree with these people but profound respect by the time I left this gathering I just waved to the candidate as if to say goodbye she immediately jumps up runs over
and said hi let me walk you out let me walk you let me walk you to your car I want you to I want you to call me I want you to sit down we want to discuss this I said
look we're we're here to make sure that Trump implements what he campaigned on in terms of American system that can she said yes economics economics I'm I'm
from Harvard I you know I studied economics at Harvard and I joked with her I said well you know I'm so sour you've been brainwashed but she you know the
reaction was we're going to sit down and we're going to talk this thing through so these people you know everyone there you know knows who we are I mean this is
in a context where the national press are calling into this campaign because this is going to be such a hot race I mean this is where the chairman of the Republican
Party Romney comes from so it's going to be hotly contested she's getting calls from the New York Times The Washington Post reporter is there so this is the kind of
mix that was in the middle of and she although she did not initially recognize the significance of who we are everyone else informed her of who we are before I was
even out of there so it was kind of a it was kind of a reflection of years long of impact and recognition that for whatever level they understand this thing our ideas the
capability for organizing we have or our capability of just destroying someone if we pick them as a target they want to make very sure that they are coordinating with
us okay great all right all right we continue to the next next to report again press star six to get into queue and I think what we'll do is after we get this next report bill
you should probably take a summary picture because we've got now I guess Michigan no upstate New York and prefer from Texas okay are you able to hear us yeah
good disc can you hear me yes go ahead um this is Brian Keisha and I we were visiting several areas manufacturing areas and just by her introducing herself as a
candidate and just talking to them too you know you could see that in the way they're desperate for change a real real real not just petitions and so we didn't get the
pamphlet in time to show that the new pamphlet but just the idea of really during the nation forward really you could see that in just there the body language that they
want this candidate the candidate of who discusses the issue of credit the real top thou aspect just to just to make it real you know brief that that is what we're getting
this we visited the community center and you know they're full you know these individuals in there also Keisha brought the schiller course and they were enthusiastic
that the you know to throw point that yeah okay let's work with you with that here because these children needed or in seniors and it that led into the Harvey question
that people are still suffering there Keisha brought up her situation and they immediately knew who she was they heard the story in the news so the point was this
and it still is the case that we have him fixed on you know the infrastructure and another storm can hit and it's going to be worse so this is sort of like what we are
dealing with we people know it's bad but they definitely and that's I think where we really need to drive that at this moment to the point where they need to move with
us that's that's one that's what I think that we we're definitely identifying that these people or that's what they're dead fighting they see a candidate and they should
absolutely now's the time for them to move with our policies okay good so let's take a pause here so bill you want to say anything in summary at this point among the
things that you've heard yeah okay so yeah so let me try to put into words what i'm my reflections on on what we've heard so far because what i think we have here
or we're getting reports on interactions with layers of the population who represent cultural tendencies represent certain economic capabilities that are much more
significant than the political parties are I mean the backdrop of all of this is that the political parties are really insignificant at this point and because people don't trust
them people don't people don't trust that these political parties you know they're they're corrupt they've they've lost people's trust completely but then people are left
with a sense of then well then how do you then have then how do we actually create the means by which to craft policy you know Trump is doing what he's doing he's
fought he represents something but you know if if if all Street collapses then then there goes you know then there goes that if we don't have a policy that that
represents something that can get us out from under this Wall Street class um you know then and so and so that the sort of missing element is as Brian's describing
is when we can bring the idea together for people either through reflections on the New Silk Road or in terms of how the credit system functions then I think people
can begin to get in their minds a sense that we the American people are going to craft the future for this country and it sort of replaces the idea of of the parties but
that it's it's it's it's the American people through directly mobilize mobilizing on on the policies on the policies that can actually back up what Trump campaigned on
and when you add to that when that people when you add to that that that people see that we're actually capable of mobilizing you know in their districts or or people
they know that they didn't think could be mobilized politically they get a sense that they've really got to work with us I think that's that's you know that's what we saw
with this candidate but I think there's a number of different I think we've gotten a number of different reflections of that sort of sense of people not feeling alienated as
victims of you know an insane party system but they actually have something that they can identify with and fight with that is much more powerful than the parties
okay so for those who want to ask questions we have comments press star-6 and getting to get into the queue let me make just two observations which I want to
make sure are included here in her new paradigm webcast helga that LaRouche made it clear that from her standpoint there is a dangerous situation with respect to
what has happened around the Iran treaty business because there are a lot of in variables there the important point is that the internal situation in Iran is not
necessarily predictable it's not merely a question of what Trump did and believed the particulars of this treaty but secondly she made the point very strong strongly
something she said many times actually is that the only way that you can actually deal with this you said you need the extension of the New Silk Road into the entire
region from Afghanistan to the Mediterranean from the Caucasus to the Persian Gulf and you have to have a development plan for all of these countries as an
integrated single plant she said this can only work of Russia China India Iran Egypt the United States and hopefully European countries are all agreeing that this
region must be economically built up now if you've looked at just to say our new Silk Road becomes the world land bridge report you know that we've got extensive
discussion of how Southwest Asia people call it the Middle East but that's really a British geopolitical term did the actual region of the kind of the of the world is
Southwest Asia that you have to take this as a singularity and take the idea of Russia China India and the United States working together I mean obviously that
makes sense around areas like Pakistan and Afghanistan because Russia is on one of the border one China is on the board of the other United States of course is
very involved in in in Afghanistan and of course India and Pakistan have been a war once one area and are now adversary so there's a very specific way in which
this kind of thing would work so I just wanted to basically I just indicate that she had this will make some later references to the case and monitor Mohammed
because we did get a couple the questions but they were just like well who is that and what his background so we'll get to that a little bit of it a little bit later so we're
gonna go back now to the QA the live Q&A so all right are you able to hear us sure hey Dennis this is Roger from Baltimore one thing that I could convey to other
people a lot one fellow said hey ROG he says you know you guys you guys your generation had Regan week our generations got Trump it's the best thing that ever
happened here but you know I look at the British situation what's their major export what do they produce what is their space program consist of what does their army
consists of the only thing the brave produce is war that's all they produce they can't even build a nuclear power plant with their own population they had to bring in
American and French welders to put their nuclear power plant together they have so decimated their own population you know they have to use everybody else to
fight the wars that they organize so this is their main industry war that's yet so and you know compare you know when you go out and talk to Industrial Workers ask
them what what kind of industries Britain really has go on it's always there's only one answer war so anything that's connected to war you can trace back to the
British epistemology and I think what if people under started really thinking about that they would understand how unimportant Great Britain is and why we why do we
need it why do we need it in the present condition that population has to advance and the only way to advance is if they actually get the silk road introduced as a
viable operation and not as a money-laundering operation into that nation so just keep that in mind when you're talking to people that's it okay very good you have
any response to that bill I know I'm very good oh good okay very good we're in the next question here all right are you but hear us I believe I hear you okay go ahead
this is Charles and Tennessee Memphis how far along are we in developing fusion power to replace petroleum power that's my question well the statistic that's
always excited is that were 30 years away from from fusion power but there's a fraud in this which is that when the studies were done to see at what levels of funding
would produce breakthroughs in fusion power at what time there were various trajectories that were determined for that and there was a certain funding level at which
it was forecasted that fusion would never be achieved and in fact the United States has been has been funding fusion power at a level lower than what we ourselves
and I guess our had determined our government had determined will never actually produce a significant breakthrough in fusion power and we continued to defund
aspects of different different programs so it's kind of a it's kind of a fraud that we even have a fusion energy program we are I believe making some breakthroughs
here and there despite all of this but you know again I think I think even on this you can see that there's a there's a way in which I mean you can have plenty of
people who believe that we should have fusion power and we should be putting some resources into that but when it's approached through a congressional
budgetary process where you're letting you know a totally group of people that have you know no competent or moral standard deciding how much money to put into
this rather than organizing the necessary breakthroughs by or by organizing the credit necessary to make sure that the achievement is is made that's the problem
that's that's that's the that's the problem in the difference of thinking between a monetary approach oh how much do we have left over for these things that we all
agree are nice like fusion and space that eventually we've gotta have that we can afford right now out of the out of the budgetary process or through borrowing
money rather than starting from the things which are the sources of wealth in the first place rather revolutionary transformations in man's science you know
knowledge of mastery of the physical universe and start from and actually start from that as the as the goals of the country so it's I you know halfa how close are we
well that's kind of like asking that's kind of like asking how much have we done so far to rid Americans that otherwise could be flooding for these policies of the
disease of thinking of everything from the standpoint of money I think that's I think that's how close or for we are yeah I think I would just like to add something here in
1961 we were as close to landing on the moon and returning a man safely as we were to an announcement up by the President of the United States that we would
do that that it was that was that was not even thought of as a goal is there may have been individuals that were discussing it with the president but since we could
basically not get anything off a launch pad at that point without it blowing up other than watching the Soviet Union put up the Sputnik on October 4th 1957 relatively
helplessly you know you would had to have said well America shall we say in infinite well a unknowable distance away putting a man on the moon when the president
of the United States made the determination that this had to be done within the decade we deployed American capabilities now non-existent American capabilities to
do that if there were an announcement by the President of the United States that in consultation with President Vladimir Putin and President Xi Jingping that he had
decided to take up the challenge that have been posed by President John F Kennedy to the United Nations in September of 1963 that there be a joint mouton
mission by the Soviet Union in the United States to go to the moon and that in this case there is to be a return operation into the moon for colonization of the moon for
the purpose of mining helium-3 and for the also the purpose of setting up a kind of a weigh station from respect to the moon to explore the potentials for Mars
exploration both unmanned and manned and that we were to going to couple this process with a investigation of thermonuclear fusion as the means for space travel
that is to say that the new thermal nuclear rocket fusion-powered would be one component of that and of course commercial applications of the use of thermonuclear
fusion power for for earthbound purposes would be portion to that program that if he said that he wanted that done but at the it should be accomplished by the world's
powers within and you would include India of course which is been doing Mars missions recently so you would have the four powers in specific Russia China the
United States and India involved this is the kind of thing you could put forward and talk about it as happening within a period of 12 to 15 years I mean they're already
our elements of the program that are being discussed by the Chinese anyway and the Russians are discussing other elements of the thing so what you could do is
you could and given that we're doing a campaign around this pamphlet of the debruce four laws and pamphlet and that the fourth law is about the issue of
thermonuclear fusion it is it is the case that that orientation could create overnight a crash program orientation that the President of the United States in conjunction
with these other powers the United States could not do this on its own you guys it would not be capable of doing it on its own but if this were presented as a kind of
way of creating the the momentum for strategic defense of the earth but at the same time as a new new frontier occurred of a footing for the entirety that would
certainly be something that would work so that's so that's the concept you're as far away from achieving thermonuclear fusion as we are from a President of the
United States declaring the intent of the United States and organizing other countries as well we've already expressed their intent to take up such a mission we're
gonna go to the next question here okay are you gonna hear us oh yes can you hear me yes go ahead this is a ed in Delaware and yeah I'm glad you say what you
said Dennis I was going to add that brief briefly on that that also people like we like Muller who is trying to get trumped right well whose mission was to stop Trump it
was the guy that helped to shut down the f ef and his friends so we're fighting against the very people who stopped from being developed 20 years ago but I wanted
to say something about this Iran situation because everybody you know nobody knows what's going to happen so we can have war of a bus well what's really gonna
happen is that you know there's the price of oil has gone up who's that benefitting think about what nations are going to benefit from that and also the oil china is the
major importer of Iranian oil so what you have is a physical economy potential in Iran that's a major factor and the British is still trying to crush it so that's and I don't
think you know I don't think Trump is trying to stop you know the world from developing or stop Iran from developing his potential but he's trying to break up the rotten
deals that I like the ones that put Khomeini in power in the first place which was British and French intelligence and collaboration with the CIA so I just want to say
that you know it's not always it's not always the case that when commodity prices go up it's necessarily a bad thing because we may have an artificially low price of
commodities because of not Zura system but that's not necessarily benefiting the productive industries who need to get enough to pay for what it costs to producing
so yeah we know we can afford to buy the gas but that's not the only issue why do you want to throw much ascension Thanks okay great I'm gonna just continue bill
yeah sure okay okay are you looking here US hey this is thousand Michigan bill oh sorry you guys Hey so I wanted to continue on on the topic of Iran and you know
what's going on with it seems that this is the only thing that that the that the British have left at the moment to try to provoke and that they're being left without other
provocations the you know Syria is kind of fizzled out in terms of the chemical attack with the white helmets you know funding being cut by it by the State Department
here the screep all case has gone by the wayside and they're desperately searching for something to to explode what do you guys think the prospects are for I make
it's very volatile I want to say but what what could happen with the attacks by the Israelis and what what do you guys think Trump is trying to do I know that what the
last showing was saying in terms of you know scrapping a bad deal but it's Trump going to perhaps look at putting in a new deal a new negotiation with Iran like you
did with Korea Nora said that yeah he is he has said that that is the intention again it's a dangerous situation for all the reasons that you've pointed out but if if if if
Trump is going to I mean that the door has been left open for a new arrangement I believe the Iranians are you know are open to hearing what what a new deal
would be the Trump administration has indicated certain further demands but how goes up with Roush has has really made the point that a a deal a replacement deal
has to really it has to be one in which individual countries are assured security you know that we can't we can't have a situation in the world where individual
countries are driven into isolation that that's just that that's not going to work and we have to assure countries of all countries of security and that's just going to have
to be something that that that's gonna have to be something that is gonna have to be adopted so it's not exactly exactly clear I don't think what what the the
replacement proposition is there probably will be one but there's got to be one soon and it's got to be it's got to be on the basis of these kinds of considerations I think
the only thing I would add on this because it's just of some relevance that people go a bit more of XP over to the background here remember that Iran from 53 to 79
the United States basically ran the nation of Iran uh that they were the British were of course running the United States so you can look at it from that standpoint too
and that was from the time of the overthrow of Mossadegh in 53 until the 79 cool involving was multiple crews first of the scheie the the constitutional monarchy the
Bakhtiar government and the baz Argonne government that the bonny Sardar government and then the Khomeini government all of which happened in 1979 a lot of
people don't know much about that but that's what happened in Iran but Ron was that that was in 1977-78 you know discussed as being something like Carson City
Nevada from the standpoint of the number of Americans that were involved there this just so people have sort of a sense of a couple of elements of around that
country remember that in the iran-iraq war the United States particularly people like Rumsfeld and others well the Bush had mentally the bush forces were
encouraging what was then the largest conventional or after Korea went on for eight years between Iran in Iraq in the United States supply Iraq with all of its weapons
including the chemical weapons that they thought that they claimed that Tom had States on him in 83 which was dumb you know Rumsfeld was there for that deal
among others so so when we're looking at these areas and we go and then there's another problem which is to look at the layers involved here for example obviously
Netanyahu was in Moscow during the parade during Victory in Europe day and Netanyahu met with Putin so people have to remember that so even though we're
looking at all you have the Israelis bomb Syria and this and that one has to understand there are many different ways in which to look at what this is about and we
don't know what we do know is there's a dangerous situation as was said the security of the nations has to be guaranteed but the only way that you can really do that
is to reorganize the area around what it's being called the Beldon road but of course remember Lyndon LaRouche in his very first well one of his very first forays into
the international arena was in Baghdad in 1975 proposing to the assembled nations from OPEC and a few others of the creation of what was called the International
Development Bank and at that time his proposal was that and this was made obviously to Iraqis to Iranians even the Saudis were there for this the proposal was that
the everybody knew that Israel had nuclear weapon Aquila T but the notion was that the entire area should become a nuclear-free zone except from the standpoint
that everybody was going to get nuclear power plants and the nuclear power plants were going to be actually managed by supervised by and open by largely Israeli
technology and the concept was to trade oil for technology not just with Israel but globally that the notion was that oil was transitional that controlled thermonuclear
reactions as Lin used to call them back then we're going to be the wave of the future that meant thermonuclear fusion power and that the idea was that these various
nations and he included several nations at the time we're going to enter into a compact to create an International Development Bank process now what you're here is
seeing now with the new Silk Road with the AI IB and some of these other things that have been that have been put forward by this by the by the Chinese it is is an
elaboration in a different way coming from a different place of what Lin was talking about back in 1975 to think that these things aren't possible actually they could be
implemented rather quickly but of course there is another element which is how much the President of the United States is free to do any of this you know we had a
meeting yesterday a discussion a debate actually involving Stephen Cohen formerly of NYU professor there one of the major Russian experts in the United States
and I'll just say that you know he of course is no supporter of Donald Trump except that he has made it very very clear that he has a moral obligation as a as an
American supports president of the United States and he says on the one area that he has to astatically agree with Donald Trump which is his his attempt to get a
decent relationship Russia that what has happened is that because of what Mueller is not and because of what's been done around the Russia Gate matter that
today Donald Trump could not do with Russia with John F Kennedy did with Nikita Khrushchev and that and that that is why he that is Stephen Cohen personally
believes that the present circumstance in the globe is far more dangerous than it was in 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis because you've created a situation
where the President of the United States is not allowed to do that not able to do that so although we can't endorse or I guess for this way we don't exactly know is
that what because Donald Trump hasn't told us what he's thinking about this we don't know we know what happened with the deal but what we what we do know is
that we would know something a lot more and we'd know something probably a lot better if this operation against the presidency were shut down I just think it's
important that this be kept in mind that the purpose of the pamphlet coming back to it because there was 10,000 pamphlets is not that many actually if used properly
if it may be I'm not admitting enough we should be printed of course but you can use it as a weapon to engage people not just by telling them to read it but by really
beginning to use this with candidates like what Ronco kenda are referenced about you know his experience there in Michigan where you go in and initially you think
everybody's hostile and they may even be austell until they begin to either think about or hear what you're saying and suddenly you become indispensable from their
standpoint to their political education I think this is an important thing for us to think about when we're looking at policy questions like this a lot of these this is not a
sitting squatting outside of the universe I'm not saying this what you were saying cause it just to say we're not hiding outside at the universe trying to figure out how
policy will be made we can change the policy and that's what the pamphlets purposes so I just wanted to add that in okay we have thanks another question here all
right are you able to hear us this is Fred from Louisiana can you give me a little more discussion on the Malaysian situation hamid hello did you hear him bill yeah
Dennis do you have an overview on that I don't quite have a an overview Holman or Malaysia yeah Mohamed relax well okay this is one thing to say here that that
many years ago back in 1997 Maharaja Muhammad became notorious for his well and he stayed that way actually for his his work with Lyndon LaRouche back
actually yet there was a there was a UH it was at the IMF meeting I think in September of 1997 we recovered this at the time let me just say something about this
okay this is okay on September 19th 1997 The Wall Street Journal Europe ran on its front page an article that described the battle between Malaysian Prime Minister
Mahathir Mohamad and British Commonwealth hitman and global speculator George Soros arose for the past six months had been short selling and wrecking the
currencies and stock exchanges of Malaysia Thailand the Philippines and Indonesia causing him to fall between 10 percent and 80 percent and destroying those
nations economies mightier had had labeled Soros a criminal and a brigand and the Wall Street Journal came to Soros his percent and here's what they said The
Wall Street Journal wrote that much of the information that the Friends of Mahavira in Malaysia had used to secure Soros including certain formulations and mohanty
or speeches came from executive Intelligence Review whose founder and contributing editor is Lyndon LaRouche and they've cited the report we have put out at that
time called the true story of George Soros the golem and then ok and the same article got run on September 19th it has called Wall Street Journal Asia and what
happened was there was an IMF meeting that day there were 3,000 finance ministers and central bankers economists and journalists and what happened was when
they walked into the meeting that day I think it was in Hong Kong on every seat was this copy of the Wall Street Journal and it had an article which said Maha tear
find strange bedfellows for anti Soros campaign taps conspiracy theorist Lyndon LaRouche and what happened was they had a picture of Lin which is a drawing of
Lin the front page of The Wall Street Journal Asia so as soon as you looked at the paper you you're-you're if the only pay only picture on the table so you saw it
immediately you saw the article and this article was support was put on the seat of every banker because my hot air was coming in there to speak my deer came in
there and he thoroughly denounced George Soros he made it very clear he wasn't going to back off the campaign one bit and throw through in two days later to try to
defend himself so the thing to understand is that our what what what mozzie has said in that speech which is really important was that he had been warned that this
was going to happen to his economy that that Malaysia would go the way of Mexico Mexico was back gone through a particular crisis in that period and and it was
true that our people had visited with with Maya Thea that's what he was referring to they Dennis small and and a few of our other members had gone to see my dear
so the important thing is that he became known for standing up against the IMF and World Bank he reorganized the banking laws of Malaysia it was an attempt that
Al Gore led to try to do a coup against him which failed at the time uh and the fact that he's come back at the age of 92 to become the oldest you know a leader in the
world is is good news yeah in the sense that he represents that kind of integrity and he's a big supporter of the Belton Road which is important because I've been a
lot of tensions between Malaysia and China on that question so that's I think enough to say about that we'll see and what kind of role he can play but but it certainly I
would call it symbolically let's say from the standpoint of the integrity of government it's it's a major step that's great that's great thank you okay all right great let's see
the only thing I don't think there's much of LOI well there would be there are a couple of questions that I referred to before from the internet but but basically bill what
people just wanted to know is on this idea you you had said in the course of what you were discussing the issue is not whether you're a candidate or not the issue is
advocating you know these policies and some people just wanted to know you know how are you how would they supposed to do that well I think I think there's a
couple of ways put it this way there are people that are there are people out there who have various degrees of responsibility for other people this this includes a
whole number of things but includes people like first responders it includes local elected officials you know what we're basically talking about here or you know
people who represent a kind of strata of you know constituents who have some relationship to the productive economy who have a productive identity we're trying to
struggle with with you know various degrees of breakdown of of infrastructure breakdown of their communities um and so what we can do is we've got to basically
look I mean we've basically got to give them sense of what the reality is in the world that there is an economic Renaissance going on in the planet that if they want to
defend world peace if they want to defend the president who they see as being unfairly attacked right now then they've got it they've got to join the LaRouche PAC
platform because you can't you can't say that you support Donald Trump and the good things he's doing and then go in bash China and and and it and fall into
Russia bashing know that you know the party line you know you can't you you you you you you can't say that you're you can't say that you're a supporter of peace
and then and then try to basically forget that that you have people from Obama's intelligence and foreign policy team that ran a bunch of coos and the British who ran
all these regime change Wars who are actually the ones that are organizing the coup against Trump there's got to be a coherency within the American population
among late we have to bring together a kind of coherence among people around a basic sanity for how this country is going to actually continue to function that
doesn't exist in the political parties so how does it exist well people have to work with us to ensure that we shut down this ku expose it as a fraud prosecute those
responsible even if they're Democrats or independent number two is we've got actually facilitate a process where the United States can cooperate with China and
other countries you say the four powers is around around major projects and as far as how we implement the kinds of as far as how we implement the kinds of
reforms necessary to do that I mean that's that's where the four laws of Lib roots come in so I think what's what's pretty useful I mean what I've tried to do and this is
is people can really try to bring alive a sense of what that future in this country is going to look like so that people can understand how this is going to work and you
know write letters to the editor in the newspaper go to and events go to city council meetings and you know give people a sense that this is a standard that they you
know they need to they need to be in in reality on this and they've got to work through this and they've got to master these ideas it's not so difficult I mean the most
interesting thing is you'll find people I think what tends to happen is you'll just find people that are kind of you know agitators or are sort of looking for something
beyond the corruption of the political parties and we should be working with these people we should pull these people together to work with us you know to intervene
further and mobilize mobilize for these policies that's that's what I would that's what I would suggest immediately just get get this material out there to people look
meet with anyone I may be more explicit just meet with anyone that's willing to meet to discuss ideas I think that's that's the key thing because if whatever thing is it's
just that it's not as if these are proposals that were sort of we've come up with and we are presenting to people it's already the reality of the way the direction the
world is moving that our at the enemies of this country and the enemies of Trump who are trying to destroy him are desperately moving to try to stop if you take it
from that standpoint it's not really a set of proposals good well we don't have any other questions and actually I think that's a pretty good summary statement if you
want to add anything else that'd be good again let me just say one other things before few people get off or whatever get the pamphlet and deploy one of the things is
that we of course have deployment squads not everywhere but we have previously I think some people here on the cob Dundas going out in states where we don't
have members matter of fact that's a good thing to do yeah a few copies of the pamphlet you can also download portions of the text and the full text from the site but
get you out to wherever you are and or to get to some of our deployments otherwise and let's actually do this let's make sure that we actually begin to move this
along so bill do you want to add anything to what you just said no I think that so just leave it there okay very good so I think this is a good time for us to just pull Q&A
session is over to an end I want to thank everybody for being on tonight and we'll see you next week your conference

Leibniz Was Right: Korea Proves You Can Change The Worst Into the Best, If the Political Will Is There

While the mass media made sure that the Western world's attention today was riveted on President Trump's speech announcing that the U.S. was withdrawing from
the Iran deal— based on yet another set of British-fabricated Big Lies—the day's major developments actually changing world history were all happening on the
Asian front.
 Chinese President Xi Jinping held a surprise, two-day meeting May 7-8 with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in the Chinese port city of Dalian, where they
discussed the way forward on the Korean Peninsula. Kim stated: "As long as relevant parties abolish their hostile policies and remove security threats against
the D.P.R.K., there is no need for the D.P.R.K. to be a nuclear state and denuclearization can be realized.... I hope to build mutual trust with the U.S. through
dialogue."
 South Korean President Moon Jae-in's proposal to the North Koreans for a "New Economic Map of the Korean Peninsula," is reported to involve the
construction of "three belts": a railroad from South Korea through North Korea and extending into Russia; a railroad running East-West along what is now the
DMZ; and a second North-South railroad, this one extending into China—and from there linking up with the entire Belt and Road. Asian media are also
promoting the historic Tumen River project as part of the Korean Peninsula policy package.
 Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang arrived in Japan today, the first visit by a Chinese premier in eight years, for bilateral discussions and then to participate in
the 7th China- Japan-R.O.K. leaders' meeting on May 9. Li expressed his expectation that "the three countries will cement trust and seek cooperation, and
contribute to regional development, prosperity and peace."
Asia is where the future is being built, Helga Zepp-LaRouche stated today. It is the only part of the world that is growing economically, so much so that it is the
locomotive that is pulling along the economies of Eastern and Central Europe, and of any other nation that is smart enough to join the Belt and Road Initiative. There
is no real economic growth happening in Europe or the United States, nor can there be unless and until they too abandon the British Empire's financial system, join
the Belt and Road, and follow Lyndon LaRouche's Four Laws policy.
"What is emerging is a new set of relations among nations," Zepp-LaRouche stressed, "new relations based on the two-way road of win-win cooperation." These new
relations are already in effect, and they are the core of the New Paradigm that alone can ensure the long-term survival of the human species.
The projects now being discussed, and built—Tumen River, Korea's "three belts," Transaqua in Africa—are all our projects, the projects and policies specified and
promoted over decades by Lyndon LaRouche and his associates. And the world is now moving in that direction, our direction.
It is foolish and suicidal to pretend that this emerging New Paradigm doesn't exist, Zepp-LaRouche stated. Those, like Germany's Angela Merkel, who are lecturing
the nations of Eastern and Central Europe that they shouldn't go with the Belt and Road, because the EU has a better, more "transparent," less "corrupt" "Europe-
Asia Connectivity Plan," are making themselves the laughingstock of the planet. Even self-respecting ostriches are beginning to pull their heads out of the sand, lest
they be compared with Merkel, Macron and May.
The Korean Peninsula, Zepp-LaRouche emphasized, is a proof of principle that the worst of situations in the world can be transformed into the best, so long as the
political will is there—and in Korea it has been shown to be there, coming from China, Russia and the United States.
With the New Paradigm coming into being, and with their speculative financial system collapsing, the British Empire is in a situation where they cannot win; but they
may still succeed in having the whole world go down in flames with them. They are left with the option of provoking wars—as is their intent with the Iran policy
enunciated today by Trump—and relying on the population's credulity, for example in tolerating the British Empire's attempted coup d'état against the Trump
administration.
Our task, according to Zepp-LaRouche, is to "educate the population as to the strategic picture, the whole picture," so that they recognize the existential danger that
British geopolitics poses, and so that they act on the basis that this is the best, and possibly last, opportunity to save civilization.

Public Health Alert: Gina Haspel—and not for the reason you think—Is the President Promoting Someone Out to Destroy Him?

President Trump may be letting a leading figure in the coup against him take over at the CIA. That is, if David Ignatius is telling the truth about Haspel’s
background in his May 7, 2018 Washington Post article. Ignatius, a dutiful scribe for the intelligence community, used the article to sell the Haspel nomination to the
rabid McCarthyite Democratic Party with this argument: So what, if she was involved in torture. The greater good is that she hates Russia and will fight off any
attempt by Trump to curb the agencies’ provocations against Putin, or any attempt to get to the truth about the CIA’s role in the coup against the President.
Ignatius backs up this argument with the following claims: 15 years of Haspel’s career were in Russia related operations with one CIA colleague bragging: “She has a
Ph.D in the FSB, SVR, and GRU.”
From 2014 to 2017, she was the CIA’s London station chief and has a strong relationship with MI6. Ignatius bellows that “Britain remains America’s indispensable
partner operating against hard targets such as Russia and China.” According to Ignatius, Haspel played a key role in snookering President Trump concerning the
Skripal poisoning hoax, coordinating all the time with MI6.
As everyone literate in the coup against the President knows, MI6 operating through Christopher Steele, conducted a criminal information warfare campaign against
Donald Trump employing both the FBI and the CIA in the process, a campaign which is ongoing. The aim was to destroy Donald Trump, starting with destroying his
determination not to go to war with Russia but to build mutually beneficial relationships instead. The aim also was to destroy the possibility that Trump would use his
personal friendship with Xi Jinping to create the basis for U.S. participation in China’s One Belt, One Road Initiative. If China, Russia, India, and the United States
were to join in a Four Power agreement for developing the world, the post World War Two City of London/Wall Street financial control of the world would end. So
would most of humanity’s immiseration.
Haspel’s role in London in 2014-2017 places her in the center of Barack Obama’s dangerous British incited military encirclement of both Russia and China, the path
to war which Donald Trump so rudely blew up. The President should be interrogating this woman. He should ask for everything she knows about Christopher Steele,
John Brennan, and joint U.S./British operations for regime change in Russia from 2014-2017. He should also seek all files and information from the CIA itself
concerning Russiagate, particularly anything involving MI6. One other relevant question for the White House. What was Haspel’s role in attempting to discredit Bill
Binney, the former NSA technical director who appeared at the CIA to brief Mike Pompeo at President Trump’s request. Binney has proof that the alleged Russian
hack of the DNC is not what Obama’s intelligence chiefs said it was. While we’re at it—what exactly was Haspel’s role in the phony intelligence community
assessment that the Russians intervened in the U.S. election to help elect Trump? The answers to these questions are central to ending the criminal coup against
President Trump.

Gina Haspel is tainted by her torture involvement. But she understands Russia. The argument against Gina Haspel’s nomination to be CIA director is simple
and, in some ways, compelling: The Senate shouldn’t approve someone who was involved, however tangentially, in the torture of al-Qaeda suspects authorized by
the George W. Bush administration.
There’s one counterargument that resonates, and it’s worth pondering as Haspel prepares for her confirmation hearing Wednesday before the Senate Intelligence
Committee. At a time when the United States is transfixed by the investigation into Russia’s covert influence operations in the 2016 presidential campaign, Haspel is
probably the senior intelligence officer who best understands the Russia threat.
The CIA has been conducting an influence campaign of its own to support Haspel’s nomination, putting out fact sheets, timelines and the sort of background
information the agency usually holds tight. It’s obvious from all the laudatory statements they’ve gathered from former agency officials that the CIA old boys and girls
really want Haspel confirmed — and fear who might be nominated as an alternative, if she’s rejected.
Haspel isn’t the kind of colorful character who walks out of a spy novel. Asked for personal stories or vivid recollections about her, several former colleagues draw a
blank. She seems to have left behind few anecdotes. That’s reassuring, in a way: Haspel’s strength has been sheer competence — a calm, no-drama approach to
managing complex spy operations. She’s not a shouter or a table pounder or a dropper of F-bombs.
Soldiers don’t get to elect their officers, and neither should spies. So the fact that Haspel is popular with the CIA workforce, while interesting, is not dispositive. The
real issue is how she would manage a CIA that, because of the Russia investigation, is perilously close to a White House that’s fighting for its life. President Trump
has shown in his statements about the FBI that he’ll attack career intelligence professionals to save his skin. Could Haspel fend off similar attempts by the White
House to manipulate the CIA?
Haspel’s Russia experience is the most important detail in her biography, beyond her three years of work for the Counterterrorism Center, from 2001 to 2004. She
appears to have spent much of the first 15 years of her career in Russia-related operations, starting with a posting in a Soviet client-state in East Africa in 1987.
Though she never served in Moscow, former colleagues say she ran operations against Russian targets in several postings. And as deputy chief of the Russian
operations group of the Central Eurasia Division from 1998 to 2000, she reviewed most sensitive operations involving Russia. Michael Sulick, who ran the division at
the time, remembers she would give a balanced assessment of the risks and benefits of every potential Russian recruitment.
Haspel also learned the special tradecraft that’s required to keep agents alive in hostile “denied areas” such as Russia. These are the CIA’s most precious secrets,
and Haspel is one of the few initiates. “She has a Ph.D. in the FSB, SVR and GRU,” jokes Dan Hoffman, a former Moscow station chief who worked closely with
Haspel, referring to the initials of the three main Russian intelligence agencies. “That gives her a gravitas within the building and with our foreign liaison partners.”
Haspel is also said to have built a strong relationship with MI6, Britain’s spy service, when she was London station chief from 2014 to 2017. Britain remains America’s
indispensable partner in operating against hard targets such as Russia and China.
A test of Haspel’s ability to manage sensitive Russia operations with the Trump White House came in March, after the poisoning of Russian intelligence defector
Sergei Skripal in Salisbury, England. As CIA deputy director, Haspel worked closely with MI6 to coordinate the response, and she personally briefed Trump about the
case — and recommended the expulsion of 60 Russian spies as punishment. Trump went along, in the toughest action against Russia of his presidency.
Haspel has also helped oversee the delivery of highly sensitive Russia files to special counsel Robert S. Mueller III and the House and Senate intelligence
committees. Colleagues say she and CIA Director Mike Pompeo (now the secretary of state) facilitated the investigations, while trying, not always successfully, to
protect what one calls “some incredibly sensitive stuff.”
When people watch Haspel before the Senate Intelligence Committee, they should focus on two urgent questions: Is she so tainted by her involvement with the
torture issue that it will undermine her leadership and shred America’s moral authority? And how would her special expertise on Russia help the CIA manage the
Trump administration’s most delicate and potentially explosive challenge?
What makes the Haspel nomination a moral issue is that it’s a hard choice, with costs on both sides.

The Stakes Behind Tuesday's Presidential Announcement

The British Intelligence-instigated attempt to "coup" President Donald Trump by impeachment or shadowy prosecutions, is being fought more and more forcefully.
Lyndon LaRouche's movement has contributed mightily to that fight by its "Mueller Dossier."
The British geopoliticians' drive to force Trump out of the Presidency has now become an all-out war confrontation with Russia and China, using staged events to try
to force Trump into wars if they can't force him out. "Breakaway allies" Israel and Saudi Arabia are warmongering against Iran, Syria, Lebanon, committing genocide
against Yemen; but the real targets are Russia and China.
Remember that the purpose of the fight against the British anti-Trump coup, was a new paradigm of international cooperation of major nations, for peace and
restored economic progress after the devastating London-Wall Street crash of 2007-08 and the constant wars of the Bush and Obama administrations. Trump's
intentions for such cooperation and rebuilding, and against such wars, was the reason for Americans to fight to keep him in office. It was the reason the British
geopoliticians and "Old Europe" elites declared war on him.
Actually defeating the British coup against the President requires defeating the British war confrontation against Russia, and achieving that new paradigm. And
Americans can't seek peace and economic revival, while tolerating the attempt to force President Trump out -- to bring in a war President whom we need not name
here, and a Congress trying to pass sanctions which lead to war.
In the decade since that terrible 2008 global crash and economic collapse, China has carried the torch of economic growth, and credit for new and more productive
growth, almost alone. In the Belt and Road Initiative since 2013, joined by Russia, with increasing support from Japan and cooperation by India, is the new paradigm
mankind needs.
It is booming: Trade between China and the 71 nations now significantly participating in the Belt and Road, zoomed to $1.45 trillion in 2017, rising by more than 10%
a year. That is more than U.S.-China trade and Western Europe-China trade combined, and almost in equal balance of imports and exports to and from China. These
countries are jointly building new, high-technology infrastructure, increasing the productivity of their populations.
German industrial companies, by contrast, complained bitterly to their government this week that the latest anti-Russia sanctions were causing them huge losses,
and said, "The need for a political de-escalation strategy is blatantly clear. There are enough politicians who cause conflicts or take a confrontational approach. We
need people to build bridges, people who have the courage to deploy their political capital for the benefit of mutual understanding." Rare insight for Germany.
The United States, by not embracing the new paradigm the Belt and Road represents, is facing another financial crash; and is wasting the strong relationship
President Trump has with China's President Xi Jinping, and clearly wants to have with Russia's President Putin.
Productivity is what the American so-called "recovery" lacks; productivity and creativity in the sense of Lyndon LaRouche's "Fourth Law" demanding a "crash
program for fusion power and space." LaRouchePAC's pamphlet, America's Future on the New Silk Road, is out in a third mass-circulation edition for this purpose.

Congress on the economic solutions that have in the past and can once again make this country great the present economic disaster in the United States demands a
solution that does not exist in the current axioms of economic thought today instead we must turn to Lyndon LaRouche a--'s method of economic forecasting which
locates economic wealth not in monetary profit but in the discoveries of universal principles which change man's relationship to nature in 2014 LaRouche issued four
policy initiatives known as LaRussa's four laws these four laws reflecting the true intention of the US Constitution would bring our economy into coherence with the
actual physical laws governing economic progress and reverse the decades-long collapse in productivity of the average American citizen they are as follows one
immediately reinstate Franklin Roosevelt's glass-steagall banking separation act before the imminent collapse of Wall Street's latest financial bubbles to return to a
national banking system originally defined by Alexander Hamilton and reflected in Abraham Lincoln's greenback policy and Franklin Roosevelt's reconstruction
Finance Corporation three direct trillions of dollars of US federal credit towards high technology and high productivity employment including the rebuilding of u.s.
infrastructure and for prioritize a crash program to develop fusion power and greatly expand NASA's human space exploration program LaRouche PAC has just
released a new report LaRussa's for economic laws for recovery a new paradigm for mankind which illustrates exactly how LaRussa's program can be enacted and
what you can do to help educate and inspire our fellow Americans to take action our program is very simple anyone running for office must pledge to end the coup
against President Trump pledge to support the president joining the United States to China's belt and road initiative to develop the world and pledge to support
LaRussa's for laws for economic recovery of the United States this program not only fulfills the intent of most voters in 2016 it ensures prosperity and profound
human progress over the next two generations if a candidate campaigns on this platform he or she deserves our support once opposed this platform and we will do

State House and organizing around this 2018 campaign to win the future and then it says the following it says join forces with the experienced organizers at
LaRouche PAC from the streets of Manhattan to the US Congress state capitals to farm organizations our organizers know how to make ideas reality in the months
leading up to the 2018 midterm elections we are creating a national movement to elect an economic platform not partisan candidates from this side or that side with
your help we are organizing candidates elected officials business and industry leaders around the economic solutions lay it out in our latest report LaRussa's for laws
for economic recovery a new paradigm for mankind get your copy today and volunteer and here's the front cover of that pamphlet as you can see the title is
LaRouche PAC 2018 campaign to win the future LaRussa's for laws for economic recovery a new paradigm for mankind and the key to securing victory in this
campaign is that you become educated in the ideas that are necessary to assert leadership and to catalyze the kind of activism and policy changes that are urgently
necessary so in order to do that your very first step must be to get a copy of this new campaign pamphlet download it study it and work to internalize what is
contained within it so while obviously it would not be appropriate for us to go through the entire text of this pamphlet at this moment let me share with you a few
excerpts from the introduction of this pamphlet to give you a taste of what a campaign it contains so under the title the end of partisan politics the introduction begins
as follows in a speech that would soon prove prescient on September 20th 2012 in celebration of his 90th birthday Lyndon LaRouche discussed the impending end of
partisan Party politics in the United States and the challenge this posed to the individual citizen to you to take leadership this dynamic would soon manifest itself to
the absolute confound Minh tandem A's Monteux stay in the 2016 election of US president Donald Trump who had made himself thus war enemy of both parties
elites LaRouche asserted that the conflict between the old paradigm of the decadent and dying Wall Street and City of London speculative monetary system which
had imploded in 2018 and the fledgling new paradigm struggling then to be born would result in the destruction of the two-party system in the United States ossified
and corrupt political structures would be faithfully challenged by a population which had had enough and would reject the agenda of both political parties which were
only out to preserve their dying system even if that meant world war however once this was accomplished LaRouche said the citizens of the united states would face
a challenge would they organize and educate themselves through a principled dialogue concerning the future direction of our nation as required by the US
Constitution would they take actions consistent with the intent of our Constitution to revive and direct our damaged nation into a prosperous future now in 2018 we
face a turning point in the dynamic to which LaRouche gave voice at that birthday event the present economic disaster of the United States demands a solution that
cannot be found within the axioms of economic courses or textbooks we must turn to Lyndon LaRouche whose unique economic discoveries set the stage for his
remarkably accurate forecasts and the fundamental science of physical economic growth which he spent his lifetime developing LaRouche built beyond Leibniz
understanding of Technology and Alexander Hamilton's recognition of the central role of increases in the productive powers of Labor as the source of economic
wealth to create a qualitative measurement for economic progress potential relative population density LaRouche locates the only source of economic wealth indeed
the very basis for the existence of that uniquely human phenomenon known as economy in the discovery of universal principles of nature that change our relationship
to nature itself from the controlled use of fire which first set our species apart from the beasts to the electric fire studied by that American prometheus Benjamin
Franklin the entire history of human development is one of creating new resources by expanding our knowledge of previously unknown universal principles allowing
us to apply our creative discoveries to bring about entirely new states of matter and an improved human environment in 2014 from his knowledge of the true ABCs of
economy and his absolute rejection of that claptrap masquerading under the name macroeconomics in universities Lyndon LaRouche distilled the needed policy
outlook into what he called his four laws for economic recovery LaRoche's four laws mandate actions to be taken to bring the US economy into coherence with the
actual scientific laws governing economic progress a credit system like that employed by Hamilton Lincoln and Roosevelt is used to fund large-scale economic
projects such as modern and new infrastructure if they raise both overall productivity and living standards examples from our history are Franklin Roosevelt's
Tennessee Valley Authority and John F Kennedy space program a crash program to develop fusion energy a cheap powerful and essentially unlimited energy source
will transform our relationship to raw materials to water to energy and to fusion-powered space exploration allowing us to literally leap into a modern future economic
platform from the post-industrial scrapheap we have become restoring glass-steagall is the remedial measure which stops Wall Street's speculative casino from
literally robbing the economy of the resources necessary to grow as LaRouche had forecast in that 90th birthday speech the established parties were in a process of
self-destruction a process which culminated in 2016 with Trump's election they are now seeking to re-emerge riding on a wave of criminal and unconstitutional
actions against a sitting president will the citizens now organize to bring the nation to safer Shores to institute the economic and foreign policies necessary to ensure
a secure and prosperous future we are proposing LaRouche pacts campaign to win the future to catalyze precisely that result to secure that for which most Trump
and Bernie Sanders voters voted in 2016 we believe that the forces of history of natural law operating in 2016 remain on our side and a spirit unknown and
unappreciated by Washington's stupid pundits and corrupt political class remains loose in the land we see it every day as we talk to people they are fed up with
Washington they are fed up with the coup they long for purpose in their lives they are struggling to understand how we got to this place and they long for the truth
they are reading and discussing and arguing profound ideas they are inspired when you tell them the truth so that is the introduction to the pamphlet which is now
circulating this is beginning to hit the streets today it has been printed it's now in mass circulation and as you can see it's also available at the LaRouche PAC Action
Center and it's available for you to download to read to study to internalize and to circulate this is a very very powerful political tool and this lays out exactly what the
single-minded unified focus for LaRouche PAC and our 2018 campaign is and we invite you to become a part of that campaign now contained within that pamphlet
are LaRussa's for economic laws that document which he originally wrote and each one of those four laws is elaborated and explored in a short explanation which
allows you to go more in-depth into each one of those economic laws and to understand them but what is also contained are some key organizing tools you'll see in
this pamphlet a number of full-page spreads which will allow you when you're discussing with other people what this vision for a new economic future is all about to
visualize the first one you'll see here is an overview of China's new Silk Road this is subtitled belt and Road initiative compared against the world land bridge and
you'll see seven different facets of what China has initiated in the form of their one belt and one road initiative which encompasses Eurasia and Africa and this shows
you not only the land routes the high speed rail the power generation projects the water projects but it also shows you the maritime Silk Road which is establishing
new connectivities between these critical civilization centers across Eurasia Africa and Western Europe there this is a dynamic which is marching forward and has a
very powerful effect and is already producing beneficial and positive change across this region including emphatically in Africa the next spread that you'll see here is
what must be done in the United States to initiate an economic leap with several key concrete projects along the lines of what LaRouche lays out in his for economic
laws you'll see in clockwise motion a new high speed and even magnetically levitated rail system which would crisscross the United States going up and down both
coasts but also across the interior of the United States you'll see then a new reindustrialization of the economic heartland of the United States that there as you can
see is what is now depicted as the so-called Rust Belt but this is the most productive area of the United States and we must revitalize this productive core of our
country the next one you'll see here is an ambitious space program that obviously is an image of the original moon landing but what John F Kennedy had intended is
not that we had stopped there but that we would use that as the platform to leap forward into further manned exploration of space and everything that that entails the
next one that you'll see here is a fusion crash program in the same way that the Manhattan Project was a crash program to discover the secrets behind the atomic
nucleus and achieve fission we must have that same kind of crash program to achieve controlled thermonuclear fusion you'll also see here a new revitalized
agriculture program and this is encompassing all of the tools that we have available to us both in terms of irrigation one of the aspects of this would be large-scale
water transport transfer projects to take water from where water is abundant and to transfer it to where water is scarce one of the paradigms of this would be the
original NAWAPA project as it was conceived under Franklin Roosevelt I'm sorry under john f kennedy's administration and to adapt that to our current needs there
are also other very advanced water management ideas out there which have to do with the space program and the ability to harness the ionization of the atmosphere
and then lastly but not least is the Bering Strait connection taking that transport project and the high speed rail systems that we have to corrupt crisscross the United
States with and taking it up through Canada and through Alaska and plugging ourselves in to the Eurasian landbridge into this belt and Road initiative which is now
crossing the entirety of Eurasia this would be a complete new connectivity of North America into the rest of the world it would re configure our relations with Russia
with China and the other countries of Eurasia and it would also open up the entirety of this Arctic region which is now under populated under explored and
undeveloped and it would harness some of the exciting potentials that are available to us in that entire region of North America and Eurasia now the next spread is a
very exciting view of the entire globe and this is the so-called world land bridge a global infrastructure economic platform and as you can see there not only is the
United States included as part of this Eurasian development project of the belt and Road initiative connected through the Bering Strait tunnel connection there but
also we connect down south to our neighbors in Central and South America with transportation corridors and other modes of connectivity so there are six very
exciting and visionary projects depicted here all of which would have a transformative effect on mankind as a whole and several of which are now under active stages
of planning and discussion and all of these are projects which the LaRouche movement has played a key role in conceptualizing and championing over a years if not
decades you'll see a new Marshall Plan for the Middle East this is the key to peace in this region peace through economic development you'll see a new interest an ik
Canal between the Atlantic and the Pacific Ocean via a canal across Central America Nicaragua you'll see a new a new canal across the Isthmus of Craigh in
Thailand this is a very exciting project to connect the Pacific Ocean with the Indian Ocean you'll also see there a water project in Central Africa which is the so-called
trans aqua to refill Lake Chad this is a very exciting project which is now under active discussion and then finally you'll see a tunnel to connect northern Africa and
southern Europe across the Straits of Gibraltar so all of these are very exciting projects and then finally on the back cover of this report you'll see that vision of the
entire globe the world lamb bridge what would be possible if indeed we did school secured the political and strategic victory necessary to conquer ties this new
paradigm for mankind and then listed on the bottom there is the essential pledge for 2018 campaigns so let me share with you one more time the text of that pledge
won I will end the criminal coup against President Donald Trump too I will support the United States joining China's belt and Road initiative and collaborate with China
Russia and other nations in securing the common aims of mankind and three I will implement LaRussa's for laws for economic recovery so let's come back one more
time to our Action Center this is the LaRouche PAC Action Center and you can reach this page through the link which will display on the screen here elpac co / YT

War or Peace — The Deciding Moment Is At Hand

The emerging resolution of the long-festering Korea crisis provides a positive model: no matter how intractable a situation appears to be, if the great powers of the
world can work together, any problem can be overcome. Donald Trump, Xi Jinping, and Vladimir Putin worked together toward a common goal, allowing all sides,
including Kim Jong-un, to trust the process as a whole. With the New Silk Road development process underlying the political dialogue, the win-win outcome can be
clearly seen by all parties.
Why can't this process be applied to the other crisis spots? The British Empire has always depended on such regional crises, in most cases created by the British in
the first place, to force the world powers to line up on opposite sides — Arab vs. Jew; Sunni vs. Shi'a; East vs. West. Were the U.S. to stop playing the enforcer for
these British controlled conflicts, and join China and Russia in the spirit of the New Silk Road, all these conflicts could be resolved relatively quickly, as in Korea.
Trump has insisted that the U.S. must end its role as the "world's policeman" on behalf of the Empire — and yet, the war party within the U.S. is now screaming for
war on Iran, for war on Russia over Ukraine, and for a permanent colonial occupation and division of Syria. The U.S. Navy has just reconstituted the Second Fleet, to
patrol the North Atlantic — it had been de-activated in 2011 — based on the insane proposition that Russia and China have suddenly become "great power threats"
to the United States, as declared in the new National Defense Strategy. That same war party is also giving credence to the fraudulent claims presented by Bibi
Netanyahu, that Iran is "still" making nuclear weapons, despite the public rebuttal of this lie from the IAEA.
While China's Belt and Road underlies the great potential for a new paradigm for mankind, based on development and shared progress, it is the precarious condition
of the Western banking system which underlies the drive for war by the British and their assets in the U.S. Economist and historian Nomi Prins wrote last week:
"Today, we stand near — how near we don't yet know — the edge of a dangerous financial precipice. The risks posed by the largest of the private banks still exist,
only now they're even bigger than they were in 2007-08 [some 40% bigger—ed.] and operating in an arena of even more debt." Without the implementation of the
total LaRouche program — restoring a science driver for fusion and space exploration, creating national banking to generate national credit for the real economy, and
a Glass-Steagall reform of the bankrupt financial system — there is no possibility that this bubble will not soon explode. The financial lords of the Empire would prefer
war — not just a local war, but a war on Russia and China, whose cooperation in the Belt and Road threatens their looting rights in the developing nations.
The greatest danger to the Empire is that Trump will live up to his intention to establish friendly relations with both Russia and China, breaking the imperial divide.
The Russiagate coup attempt against Trump is the British intelligence response to that danger. This past week, U.S. Judge T.S. Ellis III dealt a blow to that coup
attempt, telling the Mueller witch-hunt team that they had gone far outside their mandate, bringing charges against Trump associates which had nothing to do with
any connection to Russia at all, purely to coerce them to "sing" or to "compose" information which "would reflect on Mr. Trump and lead to his prosecution or
impeachment or whatever."
The justice system in the United States has been subverted, starting with George Bush's Patriot Act, the NSA mass spying on the population, and the corruption of
the intelligence community under both Bush and Obama. This corrupted system is itself now on trial.
The issue of war or peace will not be decided on any one of these crisis siutations, but by whether or not the American people find in themselves the will to address
them all at once, to create the New Paradigm, with the LaRouche Four Laws and participation in the New Silk Road globally. The revised LaRouchePAC pamphlet on
this necessity, LaRouche's Four Laws — America's Future on the New Silk Road, is now published and available for distribution. Go like Hell.
good afternoon it is March 4th 2018 my name is matthew ogden and you're joining us for our weekly Friday evening broadcasts hear from LaRouche PAC comm as
you can see the title image of our show here today is the four powers a new paradigm for peace and development now next Tuesday and next Wednesday we're
coming up on the 73rd anniversary of VE Day which is Victory in Europe day on March 8th that's celebrated in Europe in the United States on March 9th that's
celebrated in Russia but this is the 73rd anniversary of that victory which marked the end of World War two in Europe now we know that the Allied powers by Franklin
Roosevelt in the United States in alliance with the Chinese and most especially with the Russians or the Soviet Union at that time which bore the brunt of the fight in
Europe against Nazism and against fascism those Allied powers was the were the wartime alliance which secured that great victory in that decisive theater of World
War two now that victory in the United States as I said was led by our great president Franklin Delano Roosevelt he would soon die but his vision as is well
documented in contemporary reports and in books which documents what he was thinking during that Great War his vision was that that wartime alliance would be
transformed into a great peacetime alliance of those nations which were allied in the fight against fascism which would bring development to the entire world as this is
documented in the famous book as he saw it by Elliott Roosevelt was Franklin Roosevelt son close confidant and actually sat in on many of the meetings of the big
three which was Franklin Roosevelt Churchill and Stalin Franklin Roosevelt would have incessant fights with Winston Churchill saying we're not fighting this war to
defeat fascist slavery in order to just continue to perpetuate British imperial slavery this is the end of the British Empire and Winston Churchill knew that to be the
case if Franklin Roosevelt's vision had been followed through on and Roosevelt intended that what we had implemented here in the United States under the New
Deal bringing modern economic development and infrastructure great projects to some of the most backward places here in the United States and uplifting our
populations that that would be projected to the world through this kind of peacetime alliance of the Allies that had won World War two and that emphatically included
Russia the Soviet Union at that time the United States and China however as we discussed on our show here this past Monday tragically that vision was not
actualized Franklin Roosevelt died Winston Churchill who had had those fights with Franklin Roosevelt behind closed doors came to Fulton Missouri and delivered
the famous iron curtain speech the Cold War was inaugurated in large measure with the beginning of the Korean War on the Korean Peninsula in 1950 and the rest
of the 20th century is history however the historic peace which has just been forged in Korea between the presidents of North and South Korea literally declaring a
peace treaty for the first time since the Armistice at the end of the Korean War in 1953 this historic peace heralds a potential for a new paradigm on this planet that
agreement on the Korean Peninsula was forged through the collaboration of three the great powers on this planet the United States under President Trump in
collaboration with China under President Xi Jingping and Russia played a very large role under President Putin in creating the strategic geometry in which this
historic piece could emerge on the Korean Peninsula now simultaneously we're seeing a new era of friendship between Russia between China and India in terms of
a personal relationship which is now in the process of being forged between President Xi Jingping of China and President Narendra Modi of India they had a 24 hour
summit with six very high-level meetings and they resolved to move forward in creating a common ground and in creating an environment of friendship between
those two nations including resolving some of the outstanding issues which have been used to drive a wedge between the two leading nations on this planet when it
comes to population and also two of the cradles of civilization with civilizations that are 5000 years old at least between the two of them both India and China so if you
look at what we're seeing on this planet with this kind of great powers relationship that brokered the ongoing Korea peace process between China Russia and the
United States and then if you see the friendship which is being forged between China and India through the efforts of Xi Jinping and President Modi what we're now
seeing on this planet is the potential for the emergence of what Lyndon LaRouche dubbed the four powers and that's what you see on the screen here those four
hands represent the United States China Russia and India you see the four flags there and this would be the consolidation of the new paradigm which is already
emerging on this planet for peace through great win-win economic development China has already been this idea through the Belton road initiative which is now
going full speed ahead and has been on the table since Xi Jinping announced it now five years ago China has forged very very good relations with Russia bringing
the belton Road initiative in concordance with the Eurasian Economic Union efforts of Russia under President Trump we've seen an inclination on his part towards far
improved relations between the United States and Russia which he has constantly argued despite the kind of Russia gate coup McCarthyism which is being run
against him president Trump has constantly argued that a good relationship between the United States when and Russia would be a good thing not a bad thing and
that those two nations can collaborate to resolve some great outstanding problems that the world is facing including the threat of terrorism and the same goes for the
United States and China and since president Trump's historic state visit plus to China and the close special relationship that he has forged with Xi Jingping this is a
very very strong alliance and despite the fact that you've now see talks of trade war and tariffs and the delegation which is now being led by minuchin they're trying to
pressure China around certain issues having to do with this President Trump over the course of this week has been tweeting that nothing can break the bond that has
been forged between him and Xi Jingping that this is a good no great relationship of friendship which will last so you can see that the commitment is there and now
that we're seeing India being brought into this three power and now four power alliance we finally see the potential for the consolidation of this new paradigm for
peace and development now what this would entail is finally the return to what Franklin Roosevelt envisioned 73 long years ago with the victory that had been won by
those Allied powers in world war ii and the return of that vision now three generations later but involving the same three key powers plus india which makes up the
second largest nation in terms of population on this planet however that dynamic and the proximity of the consolidation of this kind of new system this new paradigm
for relations between nations and this new system of great projects economic development and durable substantial peace between nations this dynamic is also what
is driving the danger of war on this planet right now as the adherence to Cold War geopolitics seek to play their same old games and ignite new wars in hot spots
across the globe as an attempt to drive a wedge between these great powers we see this happening now in Ukraine we see this now happening in Iran very very
dangerous situation in Iran and we see the potential for this in multiple other places around the globe so to start I would like to just play a very short clip from he'll get
Seppala Russia's international webcast that she gave yesterday and she I think makes very clearly the danger that we face but also the great potential we are on the
verge of a new hot war and I would not underestimate that danger I mean the Ukrainian development is extremely dangerous if there's a war between Israel in Iran it
does have the potential to immediately escalate so don't be complacent but on the other side I think we have never been so close to putting all of this behind us
because you know once the for power agreement comes into being there is no problem on the planet which cannot be solved so don't sit on the fence become active
and help us to turn this into a winning direction so as you can see that is a call to action from Helga Seppala ruch and you don't have to say much more than that in
fact the danger of war is so real but the potential for peace is also at our fingertips now what is this for powers relationship which he'll get Zeppelin Roush just
referred to and which I've been discussing well in fact it was the idea originally of Lyndon LaRouche not out of the blue obviously as I've been saying Lyndon
LaRouche himself who was a veteran of World War two and ever since that time was an adherent to the vision that Franklin Roosevelt had had for a anti-colonial
anti-imperial peacetime alliance between those allied powers after the war for the purpose of developing the globe especially the former colonial areas of the planet
Lyndon LaRouche has fought for this idea over the course of his entire life but at an historically specific moment in 2007 Lyndon LaRouche who had substantial
involvement with leading layers of India at that time and the other nations as well Lyndon LaRouche was invited to a conference that occurred in India and gave a
historic speech in which he introduced the idea of the four powers relationship Russia China India and the United States and many of the people who heard him put
that on the table originally were incredulous saying there's no way that we could bridge this unbridgeable gap between the East and the West and we could never
bring those four nations in an alliance together but Lyndon LaRouche continued to press the point and in appearance after appearance beginning at that point in
2007 Lyndon LaRouche was emphatic warning that the transatlantic financial system at that time was on the verge of a historic crash and that blowout would
completely destabilize what had been the reigning so-called hegemonic Western system which had been in place since the collapse of the Soviet Union now people
were incredulous about those warnings also but in a few short months Lyndon LaRouche is warning of a implosion of the transatlantic speculative financial system
came very very true that was the historic 2008 financial crisis which was led by the implosion on Wall Street and related banks so Lyndon LaRouche knew exactly
what was coming and in that context put forward the idea of a rapid consolidation of this for powers alliance so let me play a clip for you from 2007 of Lyndon
LaRouche discussing this idea you have three nations which are very large the part of the United States which are powerful in their own way they're different that is
they don't have any common features really there are different nations but there one thing in common their major nations they they have people who believe in the
nation-state who believe in sovereignty the United States Russia China and India and they're all so large and relatively powerful therefore a block of these four
nations provided they come to an agreement on this point can bring other nations in and form a world bloc of a majority of the human race represented by their
nations who say we're going to fix this and we're going back to a system a global system of sovereign nation-states we're going to cooperate in the way that Franklin
Roosevelt intended had he lived to organize the post-war world that's the one shot we have we got a group of nations which represents the majority of the power of
the world saying we're going to control this crisis this great financial economic crisis we're going to stabilize the world by going back to the kind of breadboard system
that that Franklin Roosevelt intended as a system which is based on cooperation among nations we're going to stabilise the currencies we're going to create masses
of credit for development well then look ahead to generations that is twenty five and fifty years we'll go and look at long-term investments and plans to rebuild the
world economy physically and to fix these problems and stabilize the situation now so that was May 26 2007 a few months later Lyndon LaRouche gave another
international broadcast this was in the context of a webcast which he held in Washington DC area and he elaborated on this day idea again in addition to warning of
the impending disaster of the transatlantic financial system now what I'm about to announce to you and followed up by a presentation on the subject will produce
incredulity and a lot of people around the world around the country especially inside the United States but it's all true and I shall indicate to you what some of you may
not have taken into account or didn't know about the way nature of the world situation and therefore you had doubt you would have doubts about what I'm about to
tell you the situation now is such that the present world monetary financial system is so far embedded into a process of hopeless bankruptcy there's there's no way
these system in his present form could ever come back or could survive it's gone the very question of the value of money money is in doubt to everyone who knows
what is going on what is must happen if civilization is to be continued on this planet it must happen very rapidly is that the United States must enter into an agreement
with Russia China India and other countries to establish immediately an emergency new international monetary system based in conception on the precedent of
Franklin Roosevelt's launching of the Bretton Woods system in the period 1944-45 that must happen and can happen Russia has already indicated through President
Putin repeatedly and through others and I have some considerable investigation to this matter of an interest in working together with the United States perhaps not
with the jokerz who are presently sitting in Washington in the White House and similar places but to establish a new relationship with the United States different than
that which exists now at the top in order to bring together the nations of Russia China India and the United States and other nations into treaty agreements which will
establish immediately a new emergency world monetary system model in intention on the agreement which Franklin Roosevelt orchestrated in 1944-45 for the post-
war world that is the only option for Humanity now the time frame is immediate this is not something for 1990 2009 or even 2008 it's for 2007 and it must happen now
because the entire system is presently hopelessly bankrupt is being held together by pins and needles and gum chewing gum now the crash that Lyndon LaRouche
was warning about in that webcast occurred just a few short months later and the entire transatlantic financial system proved to be hopelessly bankrupt exactly as
Lyndon LaRouche had warned now LaRouche inside the United States was mobilizing for a glass-steagall type of measure which was called the homeowners and
bank Protection Act to completely reorganize the financial system in the United States and to bring back a productive economy this was derailed these efforts
however Lyndon LaRouche at the same time was continuing his efforts abroad to organize and pull together this idea of a four powers alliance now two years later in
2009 Lyndon LaRouche was invited to address a forum which was held in Rhodes Italy this was the world dialogue of civilizations forum and during that speech as
you can see here Lyndon LaRouche again returned to the idea of a for power agreement which he said can create a new world credit system so during that speech
let me just read you a quick excerpt and you'll see what Lyndon LaRouche had to say in 2009 he said the task as I defined it is if Russia and the United States and
China and India agree as a group of countries to initiate and force a reorganization of the world financial and credit system under those conditions with long term
agreements of the same type that Franklin Roosevelt had uttered before his death in 1944 under key Nations the intention of Roosevelt all these years later could
have been realized and we could do that today that's our chance either we do that or we go under I can assure you if you think that there's any possibility that the
present system could continue into the coming year as a system to work with that there will not be a jet continuing worsening crisis at the present time there will be no
economic recovery in any part of the planet under the present conditions so the issue now is the political decision can we have the United States under unimproved
presidency and it does require improvement can we have the United States Russia China and India become a bloc of countries with which with each of have which
each have different characteristics but if they recognize among themselves that they have a common interest they will adapt to each other and respect each other's
different characteristics we have to put the power over monetary systems back in the hands of sovereign governments this must start with leading governments a
coalition among leading governments which agree that this is necessary and will agree to set up a fixed exchange rate system among reorganized sovereign national
systems of their own currency their own credit system these credit systems must be organized in such a way that as is that as in the case of China and some other
countries that the remedy for the problems which now exist are no longer the remedies that we thought would exist or many thought could exist a few years ago we
now have to think in terms of generating long term credit at interest rate charges of 1.5 and 2% because that's what you require in order to do this kind of thing China
is going to require 50 years of long-term development to bring itself into the condition it desires to be in other countries are in a similar situation most of North Asia is
in that situation Russia is also in the same situation therefore we have to come to a decision a moral discussion of what our objectives are if we do that we could
survive now that was 2009 it was four years later that President Xi Jinping of China announced first the New Silk Road and then the maritime Silk Road which then
became in combination the belt and road initiative and through the actions of China extending long term credit and development to areas of the planet which had
been deprived of that development ever since the end of World War two China began the process of building up the world in this kind of way and forging those kinds
of relationships between nations now in 2016 in one of the greatest political upsets in the history of the United States the American people revolted against the
continuation of what Bush and Obama and Hillary Clinton had intended that the United States was going to act along with the British and their allies in the European
Union to try to continue the Cold War to try to continue to chamilitary confrontation with Russia and try to continue to so-called have economic containment and a
military confrontation with China President Trump campaigned on overcoming that kind of geopolitics and that's in fact what carried him into office saying an end to
perpetual war and ever since that point despite the fact that he has been under constant attack he continues to stick with his commitment for improved relations
between the United States and Russia and the United States and China now what you see on the screen here is an updated map which will be appearing on the
back of a release of this an updated release of this pamphlet which LaRouche PAC published last year 2017 this was America's future on the New Silk Road
LaRoche's four laws what we're about to release which is going to the printer of this weekend is an updated version of that pamphlet and let me just bring this map up
so you can see what's being depicted this has titled the world land bridge expanding China's belt and road initiative a vision for global economic development and
you see some of the key nodal points which are on the table and are being actively discussed but which would transform what is now a very ambitious project for
connectivity and transnational development which China is championing under the belt and Road initiative it would truly transform it into the world land bridge the of
course the key and one of the most exciting aspects of that would be a Bering Strait tunnel project which you can see there between Alaska and Siberia which would
directly link the United States into the global high speed rail network which is part of the vision of China's belt and Road this would require the upgrading of the United
States is sorely pathetic rail system and an extension of high-speed rail in the United States across the entire country we right now have zero actually high-speed rail
the Northeast Corridor is definitely nothing compared to what China has built with high-speed and magnetically levitated rail this kind of program for the United States
would be included under what Lyndon LaRouche is discussing with his four laws the kind of Hamiltonian federal credit through a new national bank which could be
directed into projects which would provably be known as having the potential for completely upgrading the productivity of the US workforce and also completely
transforming the potential of the entirety of the u.s. territory opening up parts of the country which have been completely isolated for modern development new cities
and productive employment so this connection of the United States into this vision of a world land bridge this is what's going to be documented in the new pamphlet
mass-circulation pamphlet that LaRouche PAC is now circulating but it cannot be seen in a vacuum this is happening in parallel with this dynamic which is sweeping
the planet this dynamic of mass development as hell gets up LaRouche has called for a mass movement for development and it's the problems which we face in the
United States are by no means just isolated to the United States only we have to now understand that like never before a global process is underway the the process
which is now bringing China the nations of Africa nations in Scent South and Central America who are now openly orienting towards the belt and road initiative that
process was a vision which was unleashed over a decade ago with what Lyndon LaRouche had discussed as the four powers relationship and going back far far
before that was what he'll get sep la Ruche and Lyndon LaRouche were discussing as the Eurasian landbridge or this so-called world land bridge now I would like to
just return to one of the specific aspects of this because up to this point the idea of the role of India in this four powers process has had a question mark hanging over
top of it because there have been attempts by geo politicians to use India as a wedge into Asia to use to be used against China the so-called Indo Pacific concept an
alliance between India Australia Japan which would be an anti China alliance and the question was would India be influenced in that direction and would these
divisions continue to be used to drive a wedge between the possibility for Eurasian integration in the way that China is seeing it through this kind of win-win relation
so this breakthrough which has occurred between Modi and Xi Jingping hell gets up LaRouche characterized it in her webcast yesterday as on par with the
importance of the peace process that we now see ongoing on the Korean Peninsula and both of these have to be seen as equally important in significant
developments so let me just play that short discussion from hell gets up LaRouche from her webcast yesterday I think really I don't know maybe as important as the
Korea Development because you know there was the effort to play India in the so-called Indo Pacific combination meaning Japan Australia New Zealand India
against the new civil court and against China and for historical reasons there is a strong British new political influence in parts of the establishment in India which has
been successful September and it was played upon by the neocons and the British to say India is the largest democracy therefore they don't believe to Communist
China they believe to the west and would and you know that we should work with them and you know in a certain sense it looked for a while as if this would function
but after the border incident in dock LOM we are basically you know I think both countries realized how devastating it would be for the two largest countries in the
world if they would get into a again into some kind of a military conflict there obviously was rethinking in India where most you know people around Modi are now
moving in a direction of working with China now that does not yet mean that India is supporting the new silk court because the issue of Pakistan you know is really a
sticky one for for India and China is building this very important it can McCoy Dora basically from China to the to the Gulf Coast of Pakistan which India is completely
objecting to when therefore at the SCO meeting the Indian Foreign Minister did not sign the new surcoat resolution but they now work together on the China and
Nepal India corridor which is also part of the peel part of the new silk cord in reality and therefore you know now you had this meeting in Wuhan and the two
presidents had six discussions over two days and you know just to realize that India and China are not only the two population richest countries they have together
2.6 billion people that's 40 percent of the entire human population of the of the world but they also have the two largest continuous skytruss more than 5000 years old
who have over the cause of universal history contributed an enormous amount of knowledge of poetry of art and you know a both sort of credits of the of the human
civilization now what is very exciting is that they agreed in this context to have a joint development between India and China in Afghanistan they will build a railroad
from Afghanistan to Tajikistan Kyrgyzstan Iran China and you know therefore tie Afghanistan into the bed and world initiative which is obviously very important for
Afghanistan the President of Afghanistan had requested several months ago that the only way to solve Afghanistan problems would be as part of the New Silk Road
but it also is a way of bridging so to speak the india-pakistan conflict because they're obviously close relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan China has a better
relationship to Pakistan and if they now develop Afghanistan together it's sort of you know touches on this higher level of Reason what you know we always have
said the Musel court establishes that you need a concept where everybody benefits where you have a higher level of cooperation which is capable of overcoming
ethnic and historical and other conflicts so if India and China can work together in Afghanistan for the improvement of the situation they are and this is a typical
example of how the new cell code is also a piece being a Peace Initiative which can solve all kinds of problems so I think this is a very very good development also
so this is a critical piece of the puzzle of this four powers relationship and as Xi Jinping has characterized the necessity of a new paradigm where you imagine the
win-win development between countries that you don't have to organize mankind into competing economic and military blocks but in fact you can have a community
of shared and common destiny destiny among mankind as a whole this is the image which the four powers would serve as pillars for as we consolidate this kind of
new paradigm of peace through economic development so as we go into next week and we observe the solemn anniversary of the sacrifice that was made by all of
the soldiers who fought and won that second world war in the European theater and we observe Victory Day VE Day here in the United States and Victory Day March
9th in Russia we must use this occasion to finally bring ourselves back to what Franklin Roosevelt had envisioned and to rekindle that vision of a peacetime
relationship between these great powers on the planet to finally once and for all eliminate the scourge of Empire and colonialism and bring peace through economic
development to the planet so we are very close to the consolidation of just such a four powers structure but that proximity itself is what is creating the conditions for a
very dangerous threat of war so as hell gets up LaRouche said at the beginning of this broadcast we have to acknowledge that war is a very real danger we cannot
rest on our laurels but we also have to see the very close proximity of the potential for the consolidation finally of this vision of a new paradigm for peace and
economic development so thank you very much for tuning in and please stay tuned till the roush pact calm
