Activity Activity Description
The teacher comes to the class and greetings the students. She asks
them if they want to stay home and spend time on the internet. Based
Introduction on the answers, she asks them which social media they are using by
(5 minutes) showing the pictures of social media icons. After that discussion,
teachers asks them how they are using the internet, what problems they
have encountered, or what precautions they have taken.
After the discussion, teacher distributes the papers for preparation part,
which includes target words for listening activity (I like it, safer internet
day song), and asks the students to guess and match the words with
Warm-Up Activity their meanings in max. 4 minutes. When students complete the task, the
(10 minutes) teacher asks them to tell their answers orally. At the same time teacher
gives feedback to the students’ answers.

After students become ready for listening to the rap song, teacher
distributes the main activity paper, which is the transcript of the I-like-it
song but with some missing parts. The teacher explains to students that
Main Activity they need to listen to the song carefully and try to complete the missing
(10 minutes) parts in the paper. The teacher puts the music on 2 times. If there is
enough time and students need more listening, then she can put the
song one more time, max. 3 times. Next, the teacher asks students to sit
in pairs and check each other’s answers and correct themselves together
by discussing. By that time, the teacher also comes to the students’
nearby and look at their answers and monitors how they are correcting

As a final activity, the teacher comes up with a question, which drags

students to think critically, by asking what the main message of this
song is.
In last minute, the teacher explains to the students what they will need
to do their homework.
