Proclaim the Gospel; Equip the next generation; Mobilize the church

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution. Or famine or
nakedness or peril or sword? NO, in all these things we are more than conquerors though Him who
loved us" Romans 8:35,37

April 2017

Dear Partner,

Blessings from Jerusalem in Messiah Jesus our Lord to each of you.

We as believers in Messiah Jesus just passed another season of Passover and Resurrection day to ultimately celebrate
The Word of our Master Jesus: “Do this in remembrance of Me”, I Cor 11:25-26. This we celebrate until He comes. Yes,
HE is coming back for His bride. That's us! John 14:1-3

It is a good time to refresh our commitment to Jesus and to wait on Him. And yet as we wait on His return, we need to
obey the voice of Jesus saying GO to preach the good news of the Gospel. What we are doing when our Lord returns is
important, but it will be much more important to Him what we had been doing while He was away. We thank God for using
WMO in bringing hope in the Gospel of Jesus to the world; to Jews and Gentiles according to Romans 1:16. We thank
God for you being a partner in prayer and support for this to happen. We are partnering together. One goes and one
sends and we both share in the fruit.

SIERRA LEONE REPORT - Last month we had the privilege to lead a team to Sierra Leone to do a Pastors conference
to equip them in the Word of God, evangelism, end times related to Israel and the world. We conducted a one night
evangelistic outreach to present the Gospel of Jesus to a Muslim community. We partnered with the local church, which is
doing the follow up. We had over 300 pastors coming from the rural area and
WMO sponsored many of them to come. Sierra Leone is a very poor country.
The Ebola virus killed many people a few years ago in the area of Sierra Leone
and Liberia. Today the area is Ebola free according to the UN health
department. However, the physical consequences are catastrophic.

My heart was broken to see the physical condition and sickness of many
people. But above all how Islam is forcing its muscles on the people of Sierra
Leone. It was refreshing to see how God is saving many people out Islam
coming to Jesus as Lord God and Savior. Many ex-Muslims who are believers
in Jesus, were encouraged to know the Word of God, and the importance to
pray for Israel and the world and the importance of the Gospel of Jesus. Thank
you for your prayers for our brothers and sisters in Sierra Leone as they reach their nation for Jesus. Pray also for the new
believers, that they will grow in The Word.

Update on Darlene’s brother Paul

Thank you, dear partners for your prayers for my precious younger brother Paul who had serious liver
issues from Hepatitis C. He went home to heaven on March 15, 2017. I thank God, that Henry and I
were able to be with him for the last 7 days of his life on earth. Many of you prayed and we are so
grateful for your prayers. It was a difficult time for my brother and for my family. Most of my family is
unsaved. Paul had put his faith in Jesus many years ago and Henry baptized him. That was a glorious
day. He got plugged in to a local church and I was so happy to have another member of my family
walking with Jesus.

Sometime later, Paul was hurt and disappointed and left the church. He struggled with his health for the
past few years and it was at this difficult time in his life that the Mormon missionaries befriended him and his wife. It wasn’t
long after that Paul and his wife were attending the Mormon church under a deception. We had long conversations about
this with Paul, about the counterfeit Jesus of Mormonism versus the biblical Jesus. Paul had this need to belong, and the
Mormons were filling that need. We just continued to trust God and pray.

I am thankful I had the opportunity to speak with Paul about his struggles and pray with him. Henry and I were able to
remind him of the decision he made to put his faith in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son. Only the Spirit of God can
bring peace and comfort in the midst of trials and only Jesus can save us.

My family saw our commitment to Jesus and to ministering to Paul. We know God’s Word doesn’t return void. We are
praying that this testimony will bring fruit of salvation to the rest of the family.

Thank God for the salvation of Paul, but he was struggling with the Lordship of Jesus. We saw the faithfulness of God in
his room. The Lord was there. For 7 days, we were ministering the Word of God and affirming his salvation in Jesus, God
the Son. Although he was unable to speak, he responded through lifting his eyebrow. There was such a peace. The 7th
day, I sang over Paul, “Shalom Aleichem” (peace unto you). We knew when Paul took his last breath here, he went into
the glorious presence of Jesus.

The next week, Henry and I were beginning our Spring teaching tour in Hawaii. I prayed
that the Lord would make it possible that I could find the picture of Paul being baptized
by Henry. I knew it would be a miracle because our things were in a Matson storage
container on a friend’s property for years. We went there and we were shocked when we
opened the unit to find that there had been a leak and everything was damaged badly.
We needed a mask to go into the unit because of the mold.

We had 1 hour and in that time God gave us a miracle.

We found the picture intact! The majority of our pictures
were ruined. I was so happy to have that picture, I didn’t mind all my things were
destroyed. I was reminded of the scripture where Jesus speaks about not storing up for
yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves
break in and steal, but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and
rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal (Matthew 6:19-20).

What a great hope we have in Jesus. Eternal life and one day having a glorified body. I
know I will see Paul again, but it is the finality here that is that sting of death. I am eternally grateful for the time The Lord
allowed me to be with Paul and minister to him and to my family. Now we will pray those seeds will produce a harvest of
souls saved. Thank you again. May the Lord bless you and your family and may you draw near to Jesus.

In His Love,

Henry and Darlene
