DSC Technical Note – Contact ID Codes

DSC TECHNICAL SUPPORT

If you are required to change a reporting code to the central station, then the Contact ID uses
auto reporting code option must be turned OFF in section [381] zone LED 7 ON. This means
that all required reporting codes will need to be programmed, if no report is required (ie
open/close) then this section does not require programming: :

[320] Alarm Reporting Codes: enter the last 2 digits of the required report in each
location for zone 1, zone 2, zone 3, zone 4, zone 5 and zone 6. Reporting codes would
be one of the following:
Medical *11*
Fire alarm 1*1*, Fire smoke detector 11, Fire heat detector 14,
Fire button 1*1*
Panic alarm 2*1*, Duress alarm 21
Burglary 3*1*, Perimeter 31, Interior 32, 24 hour 33, Entry exit 34, Tamper 37,
For example if the zones are 1- entry/exit, 2 - interior, 3 - burglary, 4 - panic, 5 -
smoke sensor and 6 tamper the codes programmed into [320] & [324] would be :
[34], [32], [3*1*], [2*1*], [1*1*], [37], [#]

required to report openings and closings. If openings and closings are require then

For a PC1565 utilising 6 zones without any opening/closings, single EOL and
without wireless, zone 5 reports fire, zone 6 reports tamper, the necessary input would
be:

320/324- Input zone reporting and restoral codes as required

Note 3:
When you are insetting the data which uses a [*] at the start and end of an entry, the
program will annunciate that the information has been correctly entered before you
enter the second [*]. You must still enter the 2nd [*].

Example 320 – 34 , 3*1 (keypad will beep) *, 3*1 (keypad will beep) *, 3 *1
(keypad will beep) *, 1*1 (keypad will beep) *, 37, # (keypad will “beep” “Beep”
beep”)
