This document provides a perspective for how the MS-Excel module is to be taught.
The aim is to provide the students with a better understanding of excel, with a good
grasp on the techniques so that they will be able to do data mining. This course will be
broken up into three d parts, which will further be

After the completion of a

that particular level, and only after successfully passing the

test, will the student
be allowed to proceed ahead to the next level. In the case where the students have not
been able to pass the required level, they will get a relapse period of

Those students who are unable to pass through the level exams will have to
undergo a retest after 7 days in order to pass through to the next level. After all six
levels have been completed then there will be a general level test, comprising of all the
levels in the basic course.

The grading scheme is as follows:

The students will have to do the online and offline assignments provided to them .
Online assignments will be in the form of excel sheets and offline assignments will be
in the form of printed excel sheets on which they have to do the assignment.

The classes will be of
