RESUMEN

ABSTRACT
The objective of this work was to obtain a train of pills for the cleaning
operation inside the casing of an oil well, capable of removing a greater
percentage of residues and incrustations. This work was carried out due to
the need to have a unified procedure for cleaning the casing in the initial
completion process; Laboratory tests were carried out with different
commercial surfactants to determine if these increase the cleaning inside the
casing. The mechanical scheme of a vertical well was done, followed by the
BHA of cleaning with their respective tools to generate a Tally, from which it
was split to perform the necessary calculations in each section that
constitutes this BHA, this allows to obtain the cleaning time, the volume of
the pill, its length. To determine the concentration of each of the pills used in
the cleaning train. In the laboratory tests, three different surfactants were
used, which were subjected to accretion tests in concentrations of 5% v and
10% v each fluid, verifying different rates of cleaning inside the casing in
each of the six tests carried out; As criteria for selecting the optimal pill train,
the time and the cleaning percentage were determined. Test number five,
using surfactant BCS -0401 with a concentration of 5% v in 750mL of water
that represents 1 barrel in the field, obtains a cleaning of 72.89% in 4 minutes
of contact of the tablet inside the casing. The order of injection of the pills is
as follows: push pill, flocculant, wash and sweep. This train of pills should be
applied in water-based drilling muds in the drilling of all sections of a vertical
well.
