①Power switch
If you push black button, the machine is turned ON and you can use this machine.

②Emergency stop button/ rope safety device.


When you push emergency stop button or safety device works, the machine returns to the
original position in any process safely. In this time, buzzer rings. Refer to 14page to
release emergency stop.

③Short start button.


When you push this button and start button simultaneously, the machine presses clothes
during short timer setting time.

④Long start button


When you push this button and start button simultaneously, the machine presses clothes
during long timer setting time.

⑤Start button
When you push this button and long or short start button simultaneously, the machine
presses clothes.

⑥Reset button
This button has 3 functions depending on the process.
1. To return to normal operation after emergency stop button or rope safety device has been
worked.
2. To stop clothes pressing and to release upper press.
3. To return frame to original position after power is turned on.

⑦Reset knob
When you release this button, rope safety device is released.

⑧Shirt counter button (If you push this button, green lamp is turned on.)
You push this button when you want to clear shirt counter.

⑨Rotation button (If you push this button, green lamp is turned on.)
If you push this button, rotation frame rotates. During pressing, after you set shirt in setting
side, when short or long start button and start button are pushed (press reservation), lamp
blinks and you can check press reservation.

⑩Long timer button (If you push this button, green lamp is turned on.)
You push this button to set press time of long start button. During pressing with long start
button and start button, lamp blinks.

⑪Short timer button. (If you push this button, green lamp is turned on.)
You push this button to set press time of short start button. During pressing with short
start button and start button, lamp blinks.

⑫Power lamp.
When power is turned on, lamp is turned red, and power is turned off, lamp is off.

⑬Rotary encoder
When this knob is turned, you can change timer setting or select menu item (number).

⑭Display window.
Operation process number, timer countdown, error number, menu item (number) and so on are
displayed.

Operation procedures

Follow the procedure for correct operation. Wrong operation can

1. Providing Air.
○ Regulation Air pressure of this machine is 0.6Mpa.
Low air pressure can cause the malfunction.
If the pressure is less than the regulation value, adjust air pressure with following
instruction.

■ How to adjust air pressure

1.Pull up the adjustment knob.

2. Turn the adjustment knob.


Clockwise: Pressure is increased.
Counter-clockwise: Pressure is decreased.

3. Put the adjustment knob back to the original


position

■ If air pressure is not 0.6MPa, check the compressor.

Attension

Use the machine in the place where safety air supply is possible. Use such as
after-cooler to keep air clean in operation place.

2. Providing steam
○ Regulation Steam pressure of this machine is 0.6Mpa. Be sure to check if pressure is
more than 0.6Mpa. Low steam pressure can affect quality.
○ It takes about 20 minutes to warm the press head up completely.
If this is not enough, it can affect quality.

3. Turn the power on.


○ Push block power button which is on side of the control
box.
→Power lamp is turned on in control panel.
・Power is turned on when you push block button.
・Power is turned off when you push red button.

○ If push the reset button, Collar /Cuff table return to starting point.

4. Finish time setting.

Long timer setting.

Short timer Rotary encoder

● Short timer setting.(Factory setting : 30 second)
→ Push short timer button.
→ You can set it with rotary encoder.
● Long timer setting.(Factory setting: 40 second)
→ Push long timer button.
→ You can set it with rotary encoder.

* A setup is possible from 0 second (minimum) to 60 seconds (maximum). This can be


set up at intervals of 0.5 second.
* If rotary encoder is turned clockwise, finish time becomes long. If rotary encoder
is turned counter-clockwise, finish time becomes short.
* When saving the setting time, pushing short timer button is until "888" displayed on
the display window. If the power is turned off without saving, When power is turned
ON next time, it is still the setting time before change.
* If setting finishes, screen returns to shirt counter display automatically.

● Be careful not to be pinched the hand or garment at the moving part
during the operation.
Caution ● Be careful not to touch the metal parts on garment setting up.
It may cause burn.

5. Clothes finish.

① Set the shirt on the table.

* It can set 2 shirts on each Side. (Both side 4 shirts.)


* If you want to press placket, set it on collar table.
* Set shirt referring to example for good finishing

②.Push the start button and long or short start button at the same time. (Select the short
or long timer according to the material of the shirt.)

→ Collar and cuff table rotate and upper press moves down to iron the shirt.
→ When you push long / short start button, the lamp of long / short button lamp is turned on.
→ Press finish time is displayed by countdown on display window.

* Push reset button to release the press.

④After shirt setting finishes, push start button and long or short button at the same time.

→ Lamp of rotation button blinks and press is reserved.


→ When press setting time finishes, upper press is released.
→ Collar and cuff table rotate and upper press moves down to press shirt.

⑤.Take off the shirt and set next one.

◎ Repeat these process.

* If shirt remains in press side after operation finishes, push rotation button.
Collar / cuff table rotate and you can take off the shirt.

5. Turn the power off.


○ Push red button which is on side position of control box.
→Power lamp will turned off after a while.

The procedure to return from emergency stop condition


Emergency stop button and safety guards make all operation stop and return to the
start position safely. After the usage of Emergency stop button, buzzer
keeps ringing. Release it in following process.

● When emergency stop button is pushed, error “E 1” is displayed.


When you turn emergency stop button clockwise,
buzzer stops and is displayed on the panel.
When you push reset button, table returns to original position.

● When rope safety device works, error”E2” or “E3” is displayed.


When you pull reset knob(page10 ⑦), buzzer stops and is displayed
on the panel.
When you push reset button, table returns to original position.

* If you don’t push reset button, machine does not work .

Adjustment Rope safety device

How to adjust safety device,


There are 2 rope safety devices. If switch does not detect well or lock can not be
released, adjust with following process.

Caution

・Be sure to cut off the power, air and steam. Opearate after the machine becomes cold.

2. Measure lock pin and switch dog. (Figure−2)


If length is not 1mm, adjust it.
In adjustment, release lock nut which is in eye nut
side(Figure-2)

5. If you finish adjustment, tighten lock nut that
was released in process 2. Set the cover that
was taken off in process 1 in opposite order.

Cover change instruction

Let the machine cool completely before changing the cover.


CAUTION Otherwise it may cause burn. Turn power off before these
operations.

ATTNTION

As cover, use our company product. If you have bad finishing with
other company one, we can not take responsibility for the matter.

1.How to change the Collar Cover

① Loosen 2pieces of cover screws, then, remove the stainless plates in front and rear of
collar table. (Figure-1)

② Fit collar silicone and collar flannel and then set to collar cover
◎ Pass them through the band.

③ Set the both edges of collar flannel into pockets of collar cover
(Figure-3)
◎ Do not set collar silicone into the pockets.

④ Set cover extension rods on collar cover.(long and short each 2 rods.)

⑤ Put collar cover on collar table and hook spring hook on cover extension rods.

⑥ Replace ①stainless plates, and then fix it with 2pieces of cover screws.

CAUTION : In the beginning of silicone change, it can give you some smell when it warm up.
This is because of the silicone stuff. But it does not harm you at all.

1. How to change cuff cover
◎ Remove the cuff table cover prior to change operation. To remove the cuff table cover,
refer to “How to change the collar cover①”

(1) Loosen the knot of cuff cover and remove the cover. (Figure-1)
If you will change only cover, advance process (5).

(2)Loosen all screws which hold the fixing bracket and remove old cuff nomex felt pad
(Big) and (Small). (Figure-2)

(3) Install cuff nomex felt pad (small).

・ Remove cuff silicon sponge (small) and put new nomex felt pad (small) on it as
figure- 3.
・ There is holes in the edge of the nomex felt pad. When you install them, let
screws pass thorough the holes. Then put fixing metal fitting on the screw,
adjust position and tighten the screw.

(4) Install cuff nomex felt pad (big).

・Put new cuff nomex felt pad (big) on cuff silicon sponge (big) so that cuff nomex
felt pad is in center position.

・There is holes in the edge of the nomex felt pad. When you install them, let
screws pass thorough the holes. Then put fixing metal fitting on the screw,
adjust position and tighten the screws (Figure-4)

(5) Put cuff table cover on them so that there is not wrinkle. Tie the string tightly.

(6) Put collar table cover as put cuff table cover.

Daily Maintenance

Check the following items prior to daily operation.


CAUTION Operation without following items may cause insufficient finish or
trouble.

Check supplement “Daily check manual” for detail.

Air pressure check


Check if air pressure gauge indicates regulation pressure.

Steam pressure check


Check if steam pressure gauge indicates regulation pressure.

Cover check
Check if cover is dirty, torn or not.

Emergency stop button check


Check if emergency stop button works well when you push the button.

Filter regulator check


Check if auto drain in filter regulator works normally prior to operation.
(If the amount of the drain in the case becomes more than half, drain
will be discharged automatically.) In case that more than half amount
of drain is not discharged, there is possibility of break down.
In such a case, if you turn the dial under the regulator left, drain will be
discharged.

◎ After checking the above items, warm the machine up and start operation.

Service Menu

Don’t touch the place which is not indicated in Control box.


WARNIN

When service button (BP1) on board in control box is pushed, initialization of volume setting
and check of program version and running time are possible as well as input test, output
test, volume setting, dip function setting and output timer setting.

Followings are service button position on board and functions of buttons in service menu.

Lamp of this button is turned ON/ OFF when test operation is ON/ OFF in Input test.

If this button is pushed, selected menu or changed setting is decided.

⑤ Rotary encoder
When this knob is turned, menu selection, items advance and setting change are
possible in service menu.
・When it is turned right, items advance.
・When it is turned left, items returns.

■Operation process
1. Service button on board is pushed.→ is displayed.
2. Select service menu with rotary encoder.
3. When menu is selected, decide this menu with short timer setting button.
4. You can set or operate selected menu referring to” Service menu instruction”.
5. If operation finishes, push rotation button to return to original display.
(When setting time is over before button is pushed, it returns to original display
automatically too.)

2. In2 (Input test 2)
・ After 1.2 process, when 「 」is displayed, push ④short timer setting button.
・ When ⑤ rotary encoder knob is turned, input display number registered in
software (Table -1) is displayed by turns. The lamp of ③long timer setting button
will be turned on if displayed input sensor is in ON setting.

3. out(output test)
・ After 1,2 process, when 「 」 is displayed, push④ short timer setting button.
・Select display number of (table- 2) with ⑤rotary encoder. When ④short timer
setting button is pushed, test operation starts.

・ After 1, 2 process, when「 「 」is displayed, push short timer setting button.
・ After display number (table3) is selected with rotary encoder, when short timer
setting button is pushed, present setting time is displayed. Setting time is
changed with rotary encoder and push short timer setting button to save it.

・ After 1.2 process, when 「 」 is displayed, push short timer setting button.

8. Ver(program version display)


・ After 1,2 process, when 「 」 is displayed, push short timer setting button.
・ If you push④ short timer setting button again, present program version is
displayed.

9. run(board running time display)


・ After 1,2 process, when 「 」 is displayed, push short timer setting button.
If you push④ short time setting button again, board running time until now
( machine power ON time) is displayed.

In case of break down
◎ If some trouble happens in the machine, buzzer rings and error number is displayed. In
this case, check the error contents in following table. If after check, the machine does not
return to normal condition, contact dealer or our service section.

When you open control box, don’t touch the place which is not

If the error is still displayed after adjustment, this is problem of upper safety rope
switch.
Check break down or wiring.

E3 Lower safety rope switch Lower safety rope switch has worked.

・ Pull reset knob to release lock. If the problem is solved, push reset button to
return to normal condition.
・ If the error is displayed although reset knob is pulled, adjust the rope referring to
page 15 “rope safety device adjustment”.
If the error is still displayed after adjustment, this is problem of lower safety rope
switch.
Check break down or wiring
When power is turned ON or after emergency stop, table does not

・Check cylinder sensor movement. Start “Input test 1” in service menu. Turn the
table with hands and if “S2” is not displayed, this is cylinder sensor problem. Check
sensor position, break down or wiring. When the table does not stop although “S2” is
displayed, this is problem of valve No.4. Check valve and air pressure.
