Job Description

NAME :
POSITION : Group Leader
DEPARTMENT : Foodline – Delica
REPORTING TO : SSM2 Division Leader
JOB SUMMARY : To responsible of department sales achievement, GP, loss, backroom and selling area
management, staff and promoter management, and preparation monthly report, attend
monthly meeting, preparation for stocktaking and Aeon Member Day
A) KEYS RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Daily
Staff Management (manpower schedule)

a. Attend briefing with staff and promoters


i. Checking staff attendance and attire
ii. Sharing yesterday sales achievement, today sales budget and up to date sales
achievement
iii. Sharing information about customer voice and any arising issues
iv. Staff education – product knowledge for any highlight item / new arrival and
promotion item
v. List down all the briefing information inside the department communication book

b. Paperwork
i. Make DWS for today on notice board (before store opened)
ii. Prepare DWS for next day, checking on manpower schedule and submitted to
manager /division leader in charge/proxy for the day before 6.000 p.m to be verify
iii. Checking department cleaning, freshness and etc based on the DWS (Master
Schedule Locations) and remark in checking column
iv. Checking SAP attendance for any amendment
2. Sales Area Management

a. Management of Sales Floor


i. Keep cleanliness of your sales floor
ii. Maintain and improve so that existing floor will be materialized with the improvement
of Merchandise Display, Decoration and POP
iii. Maintain good condition of lighting, fixtures and selling equipment

b. Ordering
i. Checking on Daily updated request by quantity should be done before 12.00 noon
(daily for 3 day in advance )
ii. Authorized store requisition on daily updated request by quantity after 1.00 pm until
3.00 pm at the same day ( daily for 3 days in advance )
iii. Checking on balance stock for ordering purpose

c. POP & Price Card Availability


i. Checking and Updated the POP
 Weekly Selection
 Advertised Item
 J – Card Item
 Normal Item
ii. POP have correct price, format & description
iii. Maximum 2 POP’s are allow to be attached to L – stand
iv. No torn & dirty POP and show card
3. Merchandise Management

a. Production Management
i. Make sure the production level is enough
ii. Prepare the all sushi assortment and make sure all done prepared before store open
iii. Ensure staff / manpower is enough to prepare all the sushi assortment, to display
and to clean the counter
iv. Make sure all is ready display with the right pricing or POP
v. Monitoring on stock level and need to prepare or top up base on stock level
vi. Ensure all the Concess Counter operate and ready to serve customer before store
open

b. Non Merchandise Management


i. The condition of chiller or show case are in good condition
ii. No unused fixtures or customer trolley
iii. Floor tiles is complete and in good condition
iv. Pillar / Wall is well maintained without any stain, cello tape or poster
4. Backroom Management (Loss Management)

a. Price Alteration & PA Zero


i. Make sure all the PA Zero item done on daily basic
ii. Monitoring on price change (mark up and mark down) and make sure all the price
card or POP should be done before store open

b. Loading Bay and Receiving


i. Checking process to the receiving merchandise, quantity delivery must same with
R/N and delivery info, also all the merchandise should collect from loading bay
immediately
ii. Check the quality, freshness and quantity of merchandise before receive
iii. All the no quality, spoil or not fresh merchandise should reject during the receiving
process
5. Facility, Hygiene and Cleanliness

a. Maintenance
i. Ensure all the lighting at selling floor is function especially inside the fitting room

b. Cleanliness & Hygiene


i. Checking staff for the cleaning process has been designated in DWS
ii. Cleaning concern area is :
iii. Promotion stock
 No rubbish, leftover string or cellophane tape
 Use Proper Cleaning Tools
 No empty boxes or PA items in the sales area
6. Weekly

a. Promotion Plan
i. Checking on execution of promotion plan before and after business operation
 Promotion set up per schedule and in manner organized?
 POP Available?
 Enough Stock Volume?
 All the arrangement is follow the layout?

b. Ordering
i. Ensure Group Leader already schedule the Maintain Weekly Plan and also Confirm
Weekly Production by 11.00 pm every Thursday
ii. Checking on balance stock for ordering purpose
c. Office Management
i. Prepare the weekly sales information, sales promotion review and report of slow
moving items
d. Other Task
i. Checking all merchandise based on R/N and delivery info
ii. Checking incoming R/N for new delivery especially for promotion or advertised items
iii. Photocopy DI from MMD
7. Monthly

a. Time Table Scheduling


i. Planning Monthly Department Duty Roster
ii. Checking Monthly Promoter Duty Roster
iii. Planning Manpower for Monthly Stock Take
iv. Key in SAP monthly planning schedule and get approval from manager

b. KPI (KEY PERFORMANCE INDEX)


i. Prepare the KPI base on the KPI given by Store Operation ,HQ (1st half and 2nd
half)
ii. Monitor the achievement progress of KPI results on monthly and submit it to Division
Leader for checking and approval for 1st evaluation (1st half and 2nd half )

c. Office Management
i. All documents are filing properly and easy to find
ii. Document Involved:
 Monthly Merchandising Report
 Monthly Sales Budget & Achievement
 Monthly Review
 Department Duty Roster

d. Promotion Plan
i. Planning Promotion Setup Plan (inclusive layout, brand, POP, cleaning schedule)
ii. Sales Plan Countermeasure

e. Meeting
i. Attending department meeting with merchandiser
ii. Planning and conduct staff meeting

8. Technical skill: Technical skill is proficiency in a specific activity that involves methods, processes,
procedures or techniques. Individual performers expect their leader to be able to help them with
technical problems.
9. Human skill: Human skill is the ability to work with, understand, motivate, and communicate with
individuals and groups. Human skill also includes the ability to communicate with people, to resolve
conflict, and to discipline.
10. Conceptual skill: Conceptual skill is the ability to understand abstract or general ideas and apply
them to specific situations. Conceptual skill usually means understanding how the total organization
can be affected by a specific activity. Although it may not always be apparent, every action taken in
an organization has ramifications elsewhere.
11. Diagnostic skill: Diagnostic skill is the ability to analyze the nature of a problem with people, ideas,
things or events. A good diagnosis leads a recommended solution to a problem.

C) WORKING CONDITIONS (EG : COLOUR BLIND, WORK ON PUBLIC HOLIDAY / SHIFT)


1. Able to work flexible hours, including late nights, weekends and Public Holiday.
2. Able to work longer hours.
3. Willing to relocate / transfer
