Introduction
As stated in youthpress.org, social media journalist of Orange Magazine will handle the
updated for the team during the three day forum of Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum 2016.
He or she will work closely with the rest of the team to provide updates and snapshots of key
activities at the plenary and breakout sessions to update the Orange Magazine social networking :
Linkedin, Instagram, Info.gram, Pinterest, Soundcloud, Facebook and Twitter. He or she also
needs to send his or her social media plan for team’s coverage and material to Orange Magazine
team.

Orange Magazine Social Media Plan for Deutsche Welle-Global Media Forum 2016
- Pre event ( April 23, 2016 – June 12, 2016)
The Deutsche Welle – Global Media Forum will be held in Bonn, June 13-15, 2016. But, as
one of media who will cover this event Orange Magazine needs to make preparation as soon as
possible. With assumption that selected participant will be notified by April 22, 2016, this pre-
event plan will start on April 23, 2016 until June 12, 2016. Based on previous announcement, the
team will consists of 2 photographers, 2 video journalists, 2 radio journalists, 1 social media
journalist, and 5 print/web journalists. Total of this team is 12 persons. Dari 12 orang ini dan
bekerja sama dengan team orange magazine yang bertugas di bagian sosial media, akan dibuatkan
jadwal secara bergiliran untuk mengupdate seluruh sosial media yang dimiliki oleh Orange
Magazine agar selalu aktif. Karena seperti yang telah disampaikan sebelumnya bahwa Orange
Magazine kini Orange is now published mainly online using various tools of multimedia journalism
such as video, podcast, photos and text sehingga kita harus memaksimalkan semua sosial media
yang telah dimiliki. Untuk jadwal secara umum mengenai giliran dan apa saja yang harus dilakukan
bisa dilihat pada file excel dengan judul Social Media Plan schedule. Sedangkan strategi untuk
mencapai tujuan untuk masing-masing social media adalah sebagai berikut:
