Take earplugs to prevent damage to
Loud music. Flashing lights. A lot of ears. If any issues with flashing lights
people then leave the photographers pit.

Contingency / back up plans
If for any reason I am unable to shoot at one of the gigs, there are a large number of other
bands that play the venue on a regular basis. I have contacts with a number of bands that I
shoot regularly and would be able to call on those to capture the images needed.
I will take spare camera batteries to every shoot I do to ensure I do not miss any of the
action. A selection of lenses will let me to capture a variety of shots and means I will be able
to get the most suitable images possible.
I will ensure there is sufficient space on my SD card to capture more than enough photos for
each shoot.
If I am unable to attain a press pass to Brixton Academy, there are a number of other local
venues I could shoot at. This means that if a shoot goes wrong, I will always have a backup.
Problem Solved
Press pass needed to attend concerts I contacted both Scala and Brixton Academy
in order to attain passes for a selection of
gigs. I was given them for both venues
meaning I could shoot at 5 or 6 different
concerts. I can capture extra material this
way and be more selective over what final
images I use.
