• Worked with Nuala Pell Fellows to bring the Advocacy Project, a small non-profit, to present quilts made by marginalized people
throughout the world, to Salve Regina University.
• Served as a docent for the quilt show, researched and presented information of the quilts made by children facing hardships in
Nepal, Kenya, and Uganda.
• Traveled with the Advocacy Project founder to Thompson Middle School to present some of the quilts to students.
