Suggested Preparations for Semester II of the MBA Program (Class of 2014)
The suggested preparations for The MBA Program, semester II class of 2014 are detailed below:
1. Semester-II Schedule: Date of Commencement – January 02, 2013

Semester Break

Note: The Examinations dates are tentative. The actual schedule shall be announced a month
in advance by the Examinations Department.
2. Payment of Fee
The fee schedule for MBA Program (Class of 2014) will be provided by the University.
Campus shall ensure that the students pay the requisite fee on the day of registration.
3. Course Curriculum: Detailed curriculum along with the list of textbooks and reference
books for the MBA Program Semester-II courses is enclosed in Annexure-I.
4. T0 Report
Faculty members allocated with courses are to be advised to submit a plan of conducting
classes, case studies and evaluation, wherever applicable, before the commencement of
the semester. All the schedules should be prepared and submitted to the Campus Head as
per the T0 report format enclosed at Annexure II.
5. Course Handout
Faculty members should prepare course handout as per enclosed Annexure III based on
the circular and session allocation made in the circular. A copy of course handout should
be provided to the student. A copy of this shall also be submitted to the Campus Head.
6. Evaluation
The performance of a student in each course is assessed by the faculty member by means
of continuous evaluation and mid/end semester examinations. Continuous evaluation is
conducted by the faculty member at Campus throughout the semester in the form of class-

work, assignments, case analysis, etc. Mid/End semester examinations are conducted by
the Examinations Department.
7. Attendance of Students
Attendance of students has to be sent by the Campus Head to the Registrar for pre-mid
and post-mid semesters separately. The report should present the attendance of the
students in all the subjects and the average attendance.
A typical format of attendance report is given at Annexure IV. This report is to be
retained at the campus. A consolidated report as per the format given at Annexure IV-A
is to be sent to the Registrar and the Examination Department for pre-mid semester and
cumulative consolidated report to be submitted for the entire semester before the
commencement of the end semester examinations.
The cases where the attendance is below 75% should be reported as exception in the
Annexure-IV - A. A copy of the Annexure-V should be sent to the Registrar and the
Examination Department to reach them within a week of commencement of the
examinations without fail.
8. Time-Table: Indicative Time-table for the Semester duration of the MBA Program (Class
of 2014) Semester-I is enclosed at Annexure VI.

Campus Head is advised to circulate this to all faculty members for compliance.
