GUIDELINES FOR WRITING ESSAY GEN XIV SCHOLARION

SINGAPORE – MALAYSIA – THAILAND 2018

Theme: "What You are in Creating Positive Change?"

What do you have to give impact in society? What does the urgent problem that your society face? How do you
put yourself as the citizen? Write and share your innovative and concrete idea/project you will do to address the
social, cultural, environmental or economic problems faced by your society. Your ideas is advised based on your
capacity as student and what you concern on (your major).

**Your essay should contain of innovative idea and brief explanation about what your society faces as
introduction. Out of this terms will be less considered.
Guidelines
1. The Essay submitted to the Scholarion should be your original and concrete idea/project and written in
English & in PDF form.
2. The essay submitted should be made for Scholarion, not any essay which has been published. Remember
to put the reference if you use any.
3. Prejudice against SARA (Suku, Agama, Ras, dan Antar Golongan) is not allowed in the essay content.
4. Plagiarism is forbidden.
5. The Essay Includes:
- Tittle and brief summary (350-500 words, include keywords)
- Main Essay (not less than 5 pages and not more than 8 pages)
Introduction about your society in one page should be included
- Reference (if any)
6. The essay format size is A4 with Times New Roman, font size 12 throughout, with top/bottom/left/right
margins of 2 cm each. Use line spacing 1.5.
7. The copyrights of essay are within the responsibility of the delegates.
8. All submitted essay will be overviewed and the committee will announce the selected essay. The selected
writers can continue to the next phase of selection.

 Deadline Registration : July 17th, 2018 at 11.59 PM

 Deadline to submit essay : July 20th, 2018 at 10AM
 Announcement for selected essay : July 23rd, 2018 at 2PM
 Deadline to submit creativity selection file : July 26th, 2018 at 10AM
 Announcement for creativity selection file : July 30th, 2018 at 2 pm
 Announcement for final scholars : July 30th, 2018 at 2PM
 Mentoring & coaching via Line group : July 30th – September 22nd, 2018
 Ready for Scholarion SMT Program : September 22nd-25th, 2018
