Sony Pictures Television (SPT)

Employer’s information Sony Pictures Television (SPT) is the distribution arm of the Sony Pictures
Entertainment Hollywood studio group. SPT licenses Film and TV content such as The
Amazing Spider-Man and Breaking Bad to both traditional television channels and
new media platforms throughout the world. SPT Hong Kong is the central hub for
content licensing in Asia Pacific.

Work location: Taikoo Shing

Position: SUMMER INTERNSHIP - Sales Planning & Operations Summer Intern
Job description: Reporting to Sales Planning & Operations Managers:-
 Support FY16 revised budget and MRP (middle range plan) process and
analysis
 Provide assistance in product planning and product availability related
projects
 Support the team on daily operational and clerical work (e.g. Documentation,
Contract handlings, etc.)
Requirements:  Proficient in spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
 Expert in MS Excel (knowledge of pivot table is a must, macro is a plus)
 Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint
 Interests in foreign (Asia Pacific) cultures and in Movie/US TV Series market
trends
 Effective communication skills
 Detail oriented, professional, and “can-do” attitude
 Major in Finance, Accounting, Information System, or Business
Administration disciple
Target student: Undergraduate students in Finance/ Accounting/ Information Systems/ Business
Administration
Remuneration: HK$6,500 per month
Work period: 3 June - 31 July 2015; 5-day work week; 9:00am - 6:00pm
