Re: Request for permission to implement the Agapay-Gubat: A Sustainable Mountain

Greening Project in Nasugbu, Batangas

Greetings of Peace!

The AKBAYAN PARA SA KALIKASAN (APKA), a duly accredited student organization request your
permission for us to conduct and implement our pilot long-term project plan which we labelled
as AGAPAY- GUBAT: A SUSTAINABLE MOUNTAIN GREENING PROJECT that we intend to do in the
vicinity of Mt. Talamitam, Sitio Bayabasan, Barangay Aga, Nasugbu, Batangas on October 14,
2018.

This was conceptualized as a rejoinder to the members’ aspiration of having a tangible and
sustainable project that would help in the restoration of once greenly covered upland, and invoke
the participation of the community within the area especially the youth.

Since the project will involve field work and on-site community interaction, please be assured
that we shall coordinate with proper authorities such as Barangay Council, Municipal Mayor,
Police and other pertinent individuals or organizations as we implement the project. We shall

likewise conduct close coordination with ERMAC, LCDC and OSS specifically SDAO for proper
institutional requisites as we implement the different phases of the project.

We humbly request for your permission for us to experience to try and contribute a very tangible
project for the protection and conservation of our environment. Honestly, we are not completely
sure if we will be successful in our quest but we knew that there is no harm in trying. With God’s
providence, we are very confident that our lives will change for the better as we expect to learn
the sweetest lessons in life, the joy and the inspiration in the said ambitious project.

Attached are the documents such as project’s brief information, calendar of implementation and
others to give you further information about the endeavour.
