He is the president of the Revolutionary Government that


gather all the Filipinos to fight against the inhumane colonizers. Aguinaldo also ables to make the eyes of
every Filipino open from the compasionless deeds of the colonizers. He also played a vital role in the
restoration of democracy in our country. Through his presidency, Philippines is leading to its indepence
and enjoyed by Filipinos in this modern generation. Aguinaldo's contribution is indeed remarkable and
all the glory and honor is offer to his name.

President Manuel Quezon is one of the frontier in advocating our "National Language" and hence,
leading to the good communication where people shared same language and further result to a better
nation. In his term, Education is also a concern where he created National Council of Education and
initiated women's suffrage. Indeed, Quezon's legacy continues to contribute in today's generation.

President Jose Laurel is alleged to be the government caretaker during the Japanese occupation of World
War II and criticized as a traitor by some. However, he also contributes in our country through organizing
KALIBAPI which help Filipinos.

President Sergio Osmeña joined the International Monetary Fund (IMF) which helps the Philippines to
rise up and serve as a piece of hope to our economic development. During his presidency, he plays a vital
role in the restoration of our democracy. Osmeña contributes greatly in the economic elevation of our
nation after the said odds.

Manuel Roxas render his term in the reconstruction of the Philippines from war damage and Philippines'
able to become independent without the foreign rule. In his presidency, the Philippines surpass the
predicaments brought by war.

Elpidio Quirino's presidency encountered many trials like the existince of graft and corruption. Further,
the Hukbalahap guerilla movement become active. In response to this, he created the Integrity Board to
monitor graft and corruption. Moreover, he also created Social Security Commission which helped the
Filipinos and is beneficial to the future generations. However, his term failed on some aspect especially
in the security base of our country.

Ramon Magsaysay was a military governor and engineer, who abled to quelled Hukbalahap movement.
Furthermore, his presidency is referred to as the Philippines' "Golden Years" for its lack of corruption.
Philippine ranked second in Asia's Clean and Well-Governed countries during his presidency. Ramon
Magsaysay truly succeed in serving Filipino people and considered as one of the Greatest President - so
far.

Carlos Garcia's term focused on the welfare of Filipino businesses. Thus, leading to the creation of
programs that positively impact the Filipino businessman and yielded to a higher gross of our economy.
In addition to this, cultural art was revived during his term that allows every Filipino to showcase their
talents and serves as a gift to the next generation. Over all, Garcia's presidency led to a better economy
and a better Philippines.

Diosdado Macapagal enables to provide small lots to landless trough the first Land Reform Law. This law
produce plenty of opportunities to all Filipinos which greatly affect the economy. Another contribution of
Macapagal is the Minimum Wage Law that still exist in today's generation.

A dictator and the most controversial president - Ferdinand Marcos. In his term, by 1896, the Philippines
was one of the most indebted counties in Asia. However, Marcos brought plenty of improvement to our
country particularly in economy and in infrastructure. In the year 1980, the Philippine GNP was four
times greater than 1972. Moreover, in his presidency, more schools, roads, bridges, hospitals and other
infrastructures was built compared to the integrated achievements of all former presidents. It is the
undeniable phase of reality that Marcos regime brought the best in the Philippines. Amidst of all the
negative sides, people must not dwell on the mistakes and must focus on the lesson Philippines learned
from the past.

Dubbed as "Woman of the Year" in 1986 by Time Magazine; that was the 11th President of the
Philippines, President Corazon Aquino. Aquino was the first woman president or any Asian country and
restored democracy in the Philippines. Aquino's contributions and achievements are one of the best
wonders in the Philippines that Filipino can be proud of. A woman of dignity, perseverance, hope and
strength and with that - All Filipino salute in her.

Fidel V. Ramos restored economic growth and stability in the country, even during the Asian Financial
Crisis in 1997. In his governance, Philippine economy boost and able to bring it in the international stage
where Philippine Stock Exchange became an international favorite. He also signed the peace agreement
with rebel Moro National Liberation Front to resolve the conflict in Mindanao region. To sum this up,
Ramos's term had surpassed the predicaments and able to conquered challenges.
Joseph Estrada also known as Erap was the first president who had been a famous film actor. His
presidency was controversial. During his years in office, economic growth was slow and he faced
impeachment proceedings. Yet, Estrada had also a contribution that is, the price of common goods was
cheaper because he allow gambling. However, Estrada's supervision failed in many years.

Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was an excellent and intelligent president for she studied in Georgetown
University Walsh School of Foreign Service, where she maintained Dean's List Status. Also, in her
intendance, the economy of the Philippines upheave for Arroyo oversaw road and infrastructure
improvements and higher economic growth than the presidents before her. Although her term faced
plenty of controversies and faced impeachment trials, Arroyo proved that she is one of the best
president.

Benigno Aquino III was the first president who is a bachelor; he is unmarried and has no children. Aquino
oust to upgrade the Philippines economy for he oversaw higher economic growth than his predecessors.
Aquino also initiated the K-12 education in the Philippines which tends to cultivate and shape students
to achieve the prescribed skills and learnings needed in competing in the global arena. Lastly, Aquinos
presidency uplift the quality life of Filipino.

Rodrigo Roa Duterte is dubbed as the "Iron Fist" which resembles power and strength on his hands. An
interesting president that stakens the political world for his unique and powerful attitude and eager to
fight and eradicate criminality and drug ousted from poverty. His main campaign slogan was "change is
coming" and truly, change is nearly approaching. A good public servant who ables to fight corruption and
