Hello! I’m Tatiana Persaud, I’m 18 years old and I study Chemical Engineering at the UDO Anz (Universidad de Oriente,
Anz. Venezuela). Before all, I’d like you to know how happy and blessed I feel to be able to communicate with you; I have
been praying a lot for this opportunity. Despite of all the situation that Venezuela’s been going through, I have been
challenged to reach out to my university for Christ and I’d like to tell you a bit more about the way God has done this, this
is VIDA ESTUDIANTIL (Student Life).

I learnt about this movement approximately 3 months ago, through various missionaries who were visiting my city. They
spoke to me about a ministry belonging to CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ), whose purpose is to make God’s name known
in all the universities of the world, forming nation leaders guided by Him. They told me all about what was happening in
other universities in Venezuela, but that my city hadn’t been reached out to yet; Then they challenged me to go to a
spiritual retreat organized by Vida Estudiantil Valencia (Valencia being another state in Venezuela). I decided to go and it
was there where I lived one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. There, I was able to meet and coexist with
other university students from many different parts of my country who shared the same vision and passion that I had of
being able to leave behind a legacy in my home city. Through this experience, God encouraged me to be a source of light
In my university, fulfilling the mission to WIN (evangelize), EDIFY (make disciples) and SEND (the great commission) other
students to do the same.

During this time, God started to open doors and answer many of my prayers, among these, I can speak about the official
establishment and consolidation of Vida Estudiantil Puerto La Cruz, the first in the Eastern region of the country. Likewise,
by God’s grace, today I am one of the leading students that is opening a major gap towards this movement, along with
other key students in the UDO.

This year, from the 12th to the 16thof September, a conference of CRU, called "Agora" 2018 will be held in the city of Rio
de Janeiro. Its purpose is to inspire, equip and mobilize students, leaders, pastors, churches among others from Latin
America and the Caribbean (LAC) towards the urgency to develop multiplying disciples in missionary communities, to be
able to see, together, lives being changed and cities transformed like never seen before.

Being in Agora would give me the opportunity to participate in God’s plans, to meet other CRU LAC ministries, have
contacts with students, professionals, athletes and various leaders of Latin-American and Caribbean churches who are
also pursuing the announcement of God’s News, and to amplify y vision about God’s Kingdom. Besides y spiritual growth,
I’ll have the opportunity of participating in evangelisms, experiment a missional community and to have a perspective of
the Gospel from different cultures, languages, etc.

I am praying and asking God for the guidance to take steps of faith in my desire to participate in the congress. Therefore,
I want to share the privilege of being part of this adventure with me by investing part of the resources I need to participate
in Agora, which include registration for the congress, lodging and transportation approximately $1500. And I would like to
invite you to help me with any amount that God places in your heart.
