Pre-lesson
1. Make circles of ten pupils and make a ball out of paper for each group.
2. Hand a ball to a pupil and he/she says one and then throws th ball to a pupil who say
two.
3. When pupils get to ten , they count backwards.
Lesson delivery
4. Pupils look at the pictures in the SB page 52.
LEARNING OUTLINES 5. Play the recording twice . Pupils listen and repeat .
6. Use the flashcards to practice the numbers.
7. Show them first in sequence and then at random and elicit the numbers from the
pupils.
Post lesson
8. Call 20 pupils to the front of the class.
9. Say a number between 1 and 20 to each pupils at random.
10. Pupils quickly sequence themselves into a number line.
