Neils Brock Business College

Master in Business Administration

(Human Resource Management)
Letter of Motivation

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have written this letter to express my interest for enrolment with possible scholarship on Master
Programme in Business Administration, organized by the Neils Brock Business College, Denmark.
My name is Shukria Rob Chowdhury and recently graduated from a renowned university in
Bangladesh, Metropolitan University, situated in Sylhet city.

A number of factors have influence me to persuade this programme. Master Programme in Business
Administration would help me to acquire knowledge and develop my skills in four different areas of
organisations, such as, accounting, marketing, finance and management. Also, I would like to take
Human Resource Management as my major so that, I could develop a good sense of human resource
and operations management linked to organizational control. Ultimately, it would enable me to hold a
position of a controller in any top class corporations. Though, I am a student from BBA, I think this
programme is one of the best programs for me.

I have chosen this college and country based on several reasons. Neils Brock Business College is one
of the top ranked college in the world. In fact, it is a dynamic place for studying and meeting with
local, national and international students, where everyone shares their ideas, knowledge and
experience. Students have the chance of taking part in world-class research. Moreover, Denmark is
one of the safest destinations for study and live. According to the Global Peace Index 2017, it scored
1.337 and ranked number 5th safest country in the world. Danish is among the most innovative nations
and study in Denmark will motivate me to think independently and critically. Danish degree is very
demandable in almost every parts of the world. So, it would be a golden opportunity for me to gain
quality education, develop my skills and learn about different culture.

I possess a range of exceptional qualities that are strong enough to show my qualification for the
programme as well as scholarship. The significant achievements of my life are the results of
secondary, higher secondary and bachelor degree. There are some unique skills that differentiate me
from other applicants. For example, I have good proficiency in English and my IELTS certificate is
the proof in this regard. I was awarded with commissioner award for successful completion of
secondary level. In addition to this, I won three other awards in annual cultural competition arranged
by my school. I was a member of scout and currently an active member of a social welfare association
(SHEBOK SHONGHO). Thus, I have been performing voluntary works for approximately 12 years.

I have developed the leadership skills throughout my whole BBA life while group assignments and
projects were assigned to us by the professors. Furthermore, working in a bank as an intern for three
months assisted me to gain experience of real working environment.

Though, I am from a middle-class family, my parents are able to bear the study and day-to-day
expenses in Denmark. As they have to pay for the education of my five other siblings, it would put
extra financial pressures on them. If your institution provides me financial aids, it would be easier for
me to continue the study smoothly, as I would not have to work for some extra money.

Therefore, I think most of my skills, interests and abilities that I mentioned would help you to
evaluate me properly. I am waiting for your positive response and hoping to become a student of
Uppsala University.

Sincerely,
Shukria Rob Chowdhury
