My name is samudra priyadarshani.

I was born in 1994 and raised (හැදී වැඩුනේ) in

Kamburupitiya. I am 24 years old now. I have got 2 siblings; an elder brother and a younger
brother. Then I have got my mummy, daddy and granny too. My father works at water board.
My mother is a house wife.my younger brother has still been studying for his A/L’s. I studied at
sri Sumangala College at kamburupitiya for 13 years. But I had to get My A/L’s three times to
be selected to the university. Somehow I was able to fullfil one of my dream selecting to the
university. I’m currently studying Arts general degree course at the University of Ruhuna.I had
been revising harder at my A/L exam at my third attempt that’s why I could finally achieve my
dream of university.

We are not a very rich family. But we live really happy. I’m mostly close with my younger
brother because he always tries to be a good person for the society and looks after our parents.
He always thinks that he was born to be a highly successful person. However, I do love my elder
brother too and make the most of it whenever I am with them. My elder brother is actually a
good for nothing. He is not interested in doing anything useful. He studied only up to O/L. He
did study without any eagerness. He is not eager to success in his life. He doesn’t want to do a
job as well. Our grandmother is really old. She is in her eighties (එයිටීස්) now.

When I talk about my future dream job, I would like to be a better teacher. As a matter of fact
(ඇත්නෙේම), I need to be a best ICT teacher somehow. I think I will be able to do a best
service in this profession. Teaching is not only a job in fact it is a best service for children who
are thirsty for knowledge. A teacher guides students who hope to gain an in-depth knowledge
(ගැබුරු දැනුමක්) of anything. I want to use my experience and give expert knowledge of ICT
to my students. In fact, I want to be a best and best teacher for them.

When I talk about my future personal plans, I have a dream of building an

enormous(ඉන ෝමස්) house of my own. Then I want to look after my parents until their death.
I am planning to save up fifty million rupees on my bank account. I want to teach students for
free who have great difficulties in Education especially for poor children.
