Moses doesn’t drink but he was​ invited(in-vay-ted)​ to a party where everybody is ​supposed()​​ ​to
get drunk. He doesn’t want to ​turn down​​ ​the invitation though he’s a bit worried that he
would(woud) ​feel​ ​left out​​ ​and a ​wall flower​​.

Moses: ​Do you think I should go?

Rick: Yeah, why not? Just because you chose to be ​sober ​doesn’t mean that you
can’t have fun.

Moses: ​I already have an idea of how the party will go. There will be a lot of
booze ​and could extend until early morning.

Rick: ​Then don’t stay that long. Just show up, ​hang around ​for a ​couple(ko-pol)​ of
hours then ​make a ​graceful(grays-ful) ​ exit​​.

Moses: ​Easier said than done​​.

Rick: I know. Let me give you more s​uggestions(su-jes-tion)​. If you only ​plan​ to stay
for an hour, ​make this clear(aclar esto con el anfitron) ​to the host. Remember
that if you have a great
exit-​strategy(stra-te-ji)​, you ​should(shoud)​ be able to leave when you want to.

Moses: ​Sounds good​​.

Fun vs Funny

What is the difference between Fun and Funny?

Both can be used as adjectives(a-jec-tives) (words that​ describe

something)

​Funny ​= it makes you​ laugh(laft)

- A comedian is f​unny​ (because he makes you laugh)

- John is a funny guy. (John makes me laugh)

Fun ​= when you enjoy yourself and have a good time.

- Going to an amusement park is fun. (because you enjoy yourself and have a good time)
