BOBI is the Broad Band Operations Business Intelligence data ware housing system of AT&T
Southeast region. The data from the different source systems are sent to BOBI in form of flat files or in some
cases staging tables. Those data will be loaded into Oracle. Extensively involved in performance tuning.
RDW is the Retail data ware housing system of AT&T Southeast region. The data from the different
source systems are sent to BOBI in form of flat files or in some cases staging tables. Those data will be
loaded into Oracle and Teradata.

Roles and Responsibilities
The Following are some of the responsibilities of an associate in this project:
• Understand the requirements of the clients and prepare the design
document with the listing of various sources and targets
• Create the Mapping document so that which source field can be
moved to the target field based on which mapping logic
• Identify the process to extract the data from flat files and relational
sources and modify or construct a program from fixes and other
enhancements
• Document the process from business and functional perspective –
Design, Test Plan, Quality control process etc
• Test the data with all conceivable conditions in the SIT cycles so that
errors can be solved out before the production
• Changing the Mapping for performance tuning and implementing
Informatica standards.
