(STOCK TAKE)

Observation & Findings (Knit Fabric Stock)

 The head of Knit fabric store was not cooperative with audit team.
 The stock of knit Fabric was not maintained properly, they were not following the proper
barcode system.
 Rack numbering was not mentioned in stock register.
 They have not complete record of left over fabric.
 Some stock record is maintaining on simple card instead of proper register.
 The Purchase date of fabric, issue to production Dept. and remaining balance was not
mentioned.
 The stock of fabric was exactly the same as per in their records but they were not in organized
form.
 We started to check the stock on random basis and we found the 95% accurate results.

Conclusion:

Based on the findings we can conclude that the barcode system which is apply by store management is
not properly following. The record of the stock was maintained by the store management in the shape
of Register but they don’t update it properly.
