I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates an understanding of the concepts in
interpreting simple technical drawings and electronics diagram.
B. Performance Standards The learner independently reads and interprets simple technical
drawings and diagrams based on IEE (Institution of Electrical
Engineers) standards.
C. Learning LO1. Prepare the identified electronic component from the
Competencies/ Objectives identified electronic diagrams
1. Describe the electronic component being asked based
on the electronic diagram.
2. Identify the proper electronic component or its
equivalent value for the given electronic diagram.
A. Reviewing previous The teacher will draw symbols on the board and the teacher will let
lesson or presenting the the students to go to the board and label the drawn symbols.
new lesson
B. Establishing a purpose The teacher will ask the students if it is important to study the
for the lesson different electronic symbols.
C. Presenting examples/ The teacher will show them an example of a schematic diagram,
instances of the lessons after which the teacher will ask if how many symbols they can
recognize on the diagram.
D. Discussing new The teacher will discuss thoroughly on how to identify circuits that
concepts and practicing are properly connected and connections that are faulty or can
new skills destroy the circuit.
E. Developing mastery ( The teacher will give the students an actual circuit and the students
Leads to Formative will draw a schematic diagram of it.
Assessment)
F. Finding practical If one of their appliances become faulty or something unexpected
applications of concepts happened to their appliance, they will know what part possibly is
and skills in daily living having a problem.
G. Making generalizations The teacher will ask one volunteer student to go in front and draw
and abstractions about the the schematic diagram that he/she has drawn on the activity that
lesson was given.
H. Evaluating learning The students will assess their own schematic diagram if what they
have drawn was right or wrong.
I. Additional activities for Bring an actual circuit that you can found in your house and draw
application or remediation the schematic diagram of it. Place your drawings in a 1 whole sheet
( Assignment) of paper.
V. Remarks This is the application of the discussed lesson. They will focus on
hands on activity to increase their knowledge and skill in making/
identifying diagram.
