With the key words from this paper, it is expected that the young generation of the
nation can become real, pious, faithful to Allah SWT and who benefit the community. Thank

1. DEFINITION OF ADVERTISEMENT (ADVERTISING)


Advertisement (Advertising) is a text that has the purpose of announcing something to be
attractive to many people and so that a product is known to be popular in all the public in the
form of means of communication with users of products or services. Ads paid by people who
send them and are intended to inform or influence the people who receive the message.
Advertisement is always present, even though people may not be aware of it. In today's
world, advertising uses every medium that is possible to get through the message. This is
through television, print (newspapers, magazines, journals etc.), radio, broadcast, internet,
direct sales, hoardings, mailers, contests, sponsors, posters, clothes, events, colors, sounds,
visuals and even people (endorsements )

2. PURPOSE OF ADVERTISEMENT (ADVERTISING)


• To invite listeners or readers to buy or use goods or services offered in the ad.
• to announce / advertise about a thing or product to the public
• Awaken communicants and provide information about a product (can be in the form of
goods, services, ideas, etc.).
• Attempting to arouse a sense of liking for the communicant for the advertised product by
giving preference.
• Convincing the convergence of the truth of the product so that they try to own or use the
product.
• From the consumer's point of view, consumers become aware of information about the
product, both prices, specifications, functions, etc.

3. TYPE OF ADVERTISEMENT (ADVERTISING)


Based on the type of media used, advertisements can be classified as follows:
1. Print Ads
Print advertising is a type of advertisement that is published using print media such as
newspapers, magazines, tabloids, and others. based on the space used in newspapers,
magazines, tabloids, advertisements are known in two forms, namely: Classified Ads and
Column Ads
2. Advertorial Ads
Advertorial advertising is a type of ad that is packaged like news.

3. Display Ads
Judging from the form, display ads are larger than column ads. In this ad, larger images and
writing are displayed.
4. Electronic advertising
Electronic advertising is advertising published in electronic media. Electronic advertising can
be classified into: radio advertising, television advertising, internet advertising, corporate
advertising, public service advertisements.

4. FEATURE ADVERTISEMENT (ADVERTISING)


Advertisement ads have the following language characteristics:
• The choice of words used stands out as important information
• The choice of words used shows the target
• The choice of words used is interesting, precise, logical and polite.
• The choice of words used has a suggestion for the audience.

1. Pengertian Advertisement (Periklanan)


Advertisement (Periklanan) adalah adalah sebuah teks yang memiliki tujuan untuk
mengumumkan sebuah sesuatu agar menarik bagi banyak orang dan agar suatu produk
tambah terkenal di semua kalangan umum berupa sarana komunikasi dengan pengguna
produk atau layanan. Iklan yang dibayar oleh orang-orang yang mengirim mereka dan
dimaksudkan untuk memberitahu atau mempengaruhi orang-orang yang menerima pesan.
Advertisement selalu hadir, meskipun orang-orang mungkin tidak menyadari hal itu. Dalam
dunia sekarang ini, iklan menggunakan setiap media yang mungkin untuk melewati
pesannya. Hal ini melalui televisi, cetak (koran, majalah, jurnal dll), radio, siaran, internet,
penjualan langsung, hoardings, mailer, kontes, sponsor, poster, pakaian, peristiwa, warna,
suara, visual dan bahkan orang-orang (endorsements).
2. Tujuan Advertisement (Periklanan)
 Untuk mengajak pendengar atau pembaca untuk membeli atau menggunakan barang
atau jasa yang ditawarkan dalam iklan tersebut.
 untuk mengumumkan/mengiklankan tentang suatu hal atau produk kepada masyarakat
 Menyadarkan komunikan dan memberikan informasi mengenai suatu produk (bisa
berupa barang, jasa, ide, dan lain sebagainya).
 Berupaya menimbulkan rasa suka kepada diri komunikan atas produk yang diiklankan
tersebut dengan memberikan prefensi-prefensi.
 Meyakinkan konumikan akan kebenaran produk tersebut sehingga mereka berusahaan
untuk memiliki atau menggunakan produk itu.
 Dari sudut pandang konsumen, konsumen menjadi tahu informasi mengenai produk
tersebut, baik harga, spesifikasi, fungsi, dll.
3. Jenis Advertisement (Periklanan)
Berdasarkan jenis media yang digunakan, iklan dapat digolongkan sebagai berikut:
1. Iklan Cetak
Iklan cetak adalah jenis iklan yang dipublikasikan menggunakan media cetak seperti Koran,
majalah, tabloid, dan lain- lain. berdasarkan ruang yang digunakan dalam media surat kabar,
majalah,tabloid, iklan dikenal dalam 2 bentuk yaitu: Iklan Baris dan Iklan Kolom
2. Iklan Advertorial
Iklan advertorial adalah jenis iklan yang dikemas seperti berita.

3. Iklan Display
Dilihat dari bentuk, iklan display lebih besar dari pada iklan kolom. Dalam iklan ini,
ditampilkan gambar dan tulisan yang lebih besar.
4. Iklan elektronik
Iklan elektronik adalah iklan yang dipublikasikan dalam media elektronik. Iklan elektronik
dapat digolongkan menjadi: iklan radio, iklan televisi, iklan internet, iklan perusahaan, iklan
layanan masyarakat.

4. Ciri Advertisement (Periklanan)


Advertisement iklan memiliki ciri- ciri bahasa sebagai berikut:
 Pilihan kata yang digunakan menonjolakan informasi yang dipentingkan
 Pilihan kata yang digunakan menunjukan sasaran
 Pilihan kata yang digunakan menarik,tepat,logis, dan sopan.
 Pilihan kata yang digunakan memiliki sugesti bagi khalayak.

7. RESULT

that is appeals to many people.
Advertisement (advertising) is a text that has the purpose of announcing something
to appeal to many people and to make a product more popular in all circles. Advertising can
be in the form of short writings, pictures or short films, advertisements can be made to
promote goods for sale, services, job openings, homes, and others. Ads are usually posted on
television, banners, radio, newspapers, and mass media.
